Hello Mrs. [Member Name Removed]. Thank you for the compliment on Dustin's tile work. Its greatly appreciated. However, this review comes as quite a surprise. We were totally unaware of any issues. We did indeed complete your project in February of 2019 as entered as the date the work was performed. What is a surprise to us and what we don't understand is why we were never contacted about any issues nor concerns prior to this review being10 months later. I really do wish that you would have contacted us and we would have definitely come out to take a look and correct any issues immediately. As I am a firm believer of good communication is the best way to resolve any issue. 10 months later is still not to late. I have made an attempt to contact upon recieving this review to discuss these issues for the 1st time and to get clarification on some of the wording that seems to be impaired. But we haven't received a response yet. To say "Jack leg handyman that screwed up everything he touched", I would think should have been brought to attention ASAP vs later. I am very eager to see for myself. We have have been hired plenty of times to correct the work of Jack Leg tile companies and other contractors. In those cases the clients have called us to redo there work because the contractor refused to come back or they were fired from the project. In this case, the closing and walkthrough went well. Again, no comments nor feedback til now. Posting this review on 12/26/19 which was summited on 12/25/19 (reviews are posted the following day) actually does seem a little awkward. A glass door that won't close would be something that I myself would definitely address immediately. Which also could be as simple as adjusting the hinges (some are adjustable). A leaking sink is also a quick fix. But can't be corrected if not made aware. Earlier is always better. Again communication is the best way to resolve any issue. My direct number is always available for technical questions. Of course we do not want any client to be left unsatisfied. Again I truly wish you would have notified us prior to your review. In the future we will not only do walkthroughs with our clients, but we will focus on follow-up calls also. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you to see what's going on and resolving this matter. :)Service Provider Response

Thank you so much for your review and understanding. :) We were sold on a new brand of epoxy that we'll no longer be using. We have definitely gone back to our old 2 part epoxy that we have used for over 15 years. Thank you again and we are very excited about the compliments on your backsplash. :)Service Provider Response

Thank you for your honesty on the quality of the work. This is obviously one situation where we would not be able to please everyone no matter how hard we try. I do admit that I made a mistake by failing to include the materials to be purchased by the clients portion on the estimate. During the initial meeting of the estimate/quote we verbally discussed that the building materials would be provided by us and the tile, grout, and shower pan kit are provided by the clients. Tile and grout color should be an option for the client to choose according to their preference. By me failing to have this in writing that gave Mr. [Member Name Removed] the green light to run with it. Assuming it was free knowing that we had only discussed it verbally. I told Mr. [Member Name Removed] that I had made an honest mistake and his reply was "I don't care about your honesty". Mr. [Member Name Removed] was fully aware of weekly progress payments which is in the estimate but yet each time payment was due, he would find a way or attempt to slide out of it or question why and ask can we wait til the total project was completed. I'd have to copy and paste that clause and send it to him to remind him it's in writing. As far as the master bath shower door, We never confirmed a new door would be installed vs the old one being reinstalled. (All documents state "reinstall" & "existing") Which why he states I never responded. Either I didn't get it or I missed it. Obviously the estimate did not increase to reflect a new shower door installation for the master bath. So he was never charged. It remained the same reflecting the installation of the existing shower door. Again Mr. [Member Name Removed] ran with assumptions and attempts to get over. Not once did he question why the labor did not increase. Unbelievably, he actually attempted to convince me that installing a new shower door would be the same amount of time as installing the existing shower door. Well,..anyone can clearly realize that a new shower door requires assembly prior to installing which is why they would cost more in labor. Mr. [Member Name Removed] demanded that we install the new door at no additional cost for the same price as reinstalling the old door or he was not going to pay us the final payment and stated "Good luck with the review I will leave you". (Blackmail/Extortion). I quickly told him I'll place a lien on his house and take him to court. He then straightened up immediately and said "I will pay you and install the door myself". If a man truly believes in his heart he is correct and right, he would not run away from attorney's, judges, and courtrooms. Mr. [Member Name Removed] made the remaining balance payment instantly before I could blink an eye... lol. As far as [Member Name Removed] is concerned, unfortunately he had personal issues at the time with his Uncle being in the hospital from having another heart attack, hisself having migraines, and family. Despite these things and dealing with Mr. [Member Name Removed] each day, [Member Name Removed] assured that the project was BEAUTIFUL. (We have pictures to show) Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was there the entire times with [Member Name Removed] and loved the work. However she somehow wasn't aware of Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s actions. The rows he used were extra materials out of my trailer. The shower is definitely 100% waterproof and I gave Mr. [Member Name Removed] a 10 year warranty vs a 5 year. Unprofessional? Nothing I did was unprofessional. With people like Mr. [Member Name Removed] one has to be firm or he/she will be walked all over. Its extremely difficult and frustrating to work with someone who slides out of payments, doesn't care about our honesty, and does everything they can to get over. Complains about minor issues but refuses to allow them to be viewed together. (somehow they would vanish and be forgotten) Basically another attempt to delay payment. Mr. [Member Name Removed], I thank you for your business and the great lesson learned. Failing to include the material List in the estimate was a huge mistake that I will never make again. Again we do apologize that things did not go the way they should have but are very glad that you guys are happy with the quality of the final product. We are also thankful that this project has finally come to an end and are blessed that you have decided to NOT hire us again. :)Service Provider Response
