It costs about $30 every time. I basically go there because of the coupons. They should not recommend extra services. They should not oversell. They've been better the last couple of times. But, at the beginning, they were pretty hard sell. You can get your oil change for $20 or even less than that if you're willing to drop it off and wait. They do it right there for you. To me, professionalism means the way they're dressed, the way they act and the way they treat the customer - not just the way they are to me but their behavior in front of other customers.

I've used several Jiffy Lube locations in Northern Virginia over the past few years. More often than not they've done a credible job, albeit their consistent attempts to sell services other than oil changes grew annoying. However the most recent service call at the Gainesville location was unsatisfactory.
Within a month of this service I noted oil pooling on my garage floor, not a significant amount, just enough to stain the concrete. The car has more than 100K miles so I took it to my local mechanic. They discovered the leak was caused by the oil filter gasket not being seated properly. I brought this to Jiffy Lube corporate office attention and, in their defense, they were aggressive in contacting me. I advised the area manager that I'd like to be reimbursed for the $90.00 charges from my mechanic. Instead I received a card and a coupon for a free oil change. This was the second time I've had an unsatisfactory experience with Jiffy Lube, both the result of sloppy work on their part, so I have no intention of using their services again.
Interestingly enough I offered my free oil change coupon to two neighbors and both declined. I discovered they too have had problems with shoddy work by Jiffy Lube.
