"We offer our sincere condolences for the passing of the customer's mother. As a family owned and operated business, Cascade Services truly values every customer's positive experience with our business, from a customer's initial email or phone call inquiring about our services to the time we complete each job to satisfaction. On this particular job, (deleted member name) who purchased our Living Social pressure washing voucher, scheduled an appointment for carpet cleaning service. As a customer oriented company, we remained flexible and allowed the customer to use this for carpet cleaning, although the voucher was for pressure washing. It is normal operating procedures for Cascade to stay in touch with all customers by calling prior to arrival. On the morning of service, we contacted (deleted member name), prior to arrival letting her know we were in route. (deleted member name) did answer the phone call but hung up on our technician. Despite that, our technician remained professional and still arrived at the customer's service location to complete work at the scheduled time. When we arrived, no one was home at the property and we left a business card at the door. We called the customer again that same day and a left a message to let her know we were there. (deleted member name) did not contact us until over two weeks later requesting her service again. Per standard LivingSocial voucher guidelines, cancellation/rescheduling policy of 24 hours applies. Cascade did indeed contact LivingSocial about the initial missed appointment and Cascade was advised we should consider the the customer's voucher used as she missed the initial appointment as well as the cancellation period. As a courtesy to our customer, we did not do this, so that the customer had an opportunity receive a refund through LivingSocial. We received confirmation from LivingSocial that the customer's refund was processed in full on 6/24/2013. We wish the customer all the best and understand these were difficult circumstances for her."
