I know no one in Winchester, so I turned to Angie's List. I saw that H & H Hardwood Supply was highly recommended. Well, that is an understatement. I dealt with Dan and two of his employees. I cannot imagine a better experience. Their work and recommendations were perfect. I would give them an A+ if that were available. They were there every day without interruption, met the promised schedule exactly as laid out, and cleaned up immaculately every day. Their work was perfect beyond my expectations. In response to your question, the cost of $3.25/SF for the 750 SF included in the deal may or may not still apply to any additional area over that original 750 SF. It will depend on how much additional area there is, and in turn, how many additional days, if any, will be required on site to refinish the additional area. I cannot make that determination for sure until I stop out to take a look at the job and measure up the total square footage, so I cannot give you a definite answer one way or the other until then. Before we proceed with a field measure or scheduling the job, however, there are a couple things I wanted to bring to your attention first, just to be upfront, in case they weigh into your purchase decision at all. First, our company is based out of Front Royal, so your location in Fairfax is a bit outside of our normal service area. That being said, schedule permitting, we do occasionally travel outside of our normal service area for Angie's List clients or larger jobs, so the job location itself is not necessarily a problem. Second, we are a relatively small company, and we are currently booked into about mid June, so the soonest we could get to your job would be the third or fourth week in June. You said that you are in the process of moving, which often times dictates a set timeframe within which the refinishing work needs to be completed. If you do have a set timeframe for the job, I just wanted to let you know upfront what our current schedule looks like so you have time to get a refund from Angie's List and find another company that would be able to get to the job within your timeframe in case our current schedule and your timeframe are not compatible.
