Rainbow was recommended by our homeowner's insurance agent to repair wind and tree damage to our roof and chimney. When we called to get an estimate, they kept telling us someone would call back to set a time, and it took them several days and several calls from us to finally get out to do the estimate. It was right after a big wind storm, so we overlooked the initial delay given how busy everyone was. However, it took them almost 2 weeks to get us the estimate. Then they kept delaying scheduling the repairs--it's been 6 weeks now. All the while, we continued to call, leave voice mails, ask the office manager to have the project manager call us back, with very poor response. When he did call back, he made lame excuses and promised to start the next week. The "next week" kept coming and going with no one showing up. Finally we got the manager to call us back 2 days after the supposed start date, and he told us the subcontractor they were going to use backed out, and Rainbow can no longer do the job. As to why no one called to tell us this, he had no explanation but did apologize.
