Liars is the best way to describe these guys. They took advantage of my senior citizen mother, and when confronted the project manager felt threatened. The materials provided were not what was listed in the estimate. They attempted to charge her additional for work that was listed in the estimate. Her insurance (LM) rep pushed these guys on her assured that they were honest and transparent. They would not provide receipts for materials. They refused to confirm the prices of the materials purchased. They work with several different insurance companies and inflate estimates. I will never use this company again and I would never recommend them to anyone.

They repaired the floors and did a fine job! They forgot to close the contract up with my insurance company. When I spoke to them they sent me the certification of completion immediately!
Description of Work: There was a leak.

I was game to use them because of the assurances of our insurance adjustor. When the two Project Managers came to review what needed to be fixed, I asked if they were on Angie's List. The hesitant response should have been my first clue. There were two insurance estimate reports, the one from the adjustor and the additional from Old Dominion. I had a breakdown of costs from the first report, but never from Old Dominion. I had asked for the additional report from the ODSC PM who was active on my project, and he didn't respond. I even held work for a week and still I did not receive the info. I wanted the breakdown so I could see what I could do with the money in order to change a few things. My husband and I do have money set aside for renovations and we were going to add it to the insurance repairs in order to save money. We were told that if we did the changes now it would be less expensive. I asked for the costs of the cabinets, I got nothing. I reviewed the ideas about the Wet Bar in the basement I had with the PM and even drew the layout that was originally there because he apparently couldn't visualize it. Not a major issue, but when I would refer to it later, he acted like he never knew what I was talking about. I then complained to the adjustor and the senior PM and I thought it would get better. I was wrong. When I asked a third time for information and costs, I got a jumble of numbers from a phone-sent email. That is totally unprofessional and when I called him out on it, I was given the excuse that he is new. Well then, it is ODSC's responsibility to train him before going out into the workforce, or have him shadow a more senior PM. My suggestions went unheard. The final straw was when I asked the PM for the measurements of the sink so I could go pick one out. I told him that I would go and purchase it once he gave me the digits. Instead, he went out and bought a sink and told me that he was sorry that he misunderstood. Please note that I spoke to him, I texted him and sent an email to him that I would I purchase a sink. I was tired of the drama and fired him when he tried to once again excuse himself from his mistakes. That was a Thursday. His boss wanted me to think about it over the weekend and said how they were so surprised I was upset when they have never been fired from a job and couldn't understand why I would be so drastic. On Friday I received an email from the senior PM that they would not be coming back to my home or completing the project. This is probably to ensure that they don't lie when they tell customers and potential customers that they have never been fired from a job. Instead they fired me. They even left the sink I didn't order at my home and when I called and emailed twice about when they would come and get it, they told me the second time that I could have the sink at no charge, but no one was coming from their company to my home, as if I bite or something.
Description of Work: We had water damage in our home. The insurance repairs included hard wood floor replacement, carpet replacement, tile replacement, cabinet replacement, some electrical and plumbing.
