For our recent -- and urgent -- roof repair, JGL was super responsive (on a Sunday, beating all the competitors); listened to my specific concerns (called back again on Monday); fast (job done by Tuesday); and effective (all info/photos exchanged via email). No other contractor, of 4 contacted, was even close; one said (bluntly) they would do no work upon inspection and couldn't start for a month. Mind you, my roof is leaking badly amid a series of bad storms! JGL understood the situation, reacted appropriately, and did a quality job, as I was assured by 3 other contractors/inspectors who reviewed it. Top marks all around!

JGL replaced my roof. JGL was every easy to communicate with prior to installation, and their prices were fair. What I liked most though was JGL's follow up after the installation. During installation, my older walkway cracked underneath their truck, and they immediately contacted me to let me know they were on top of repairing it. The repair was done quickly, and I never had to ask for anything from JGL. That kind of experience feels rare, and it left a big impression on me. I would highly recommend JGL.

We initially reached out to JGL when we had a leak our roof and they came out right away and patched it. After that positive experience, we called on them again when it was time to replace the entire roof. Robert walked us through our options, showed us sample roof tiles, and had the whole job done in a couple days.

Robert Gay was extremely easy to work with--pleasant, polite, responsive to both questions and requests. After I selected JGL to do the work, we had a second floor rain leak during a downpour and Robert had a crew out the next day to do a quick fix until the new materials could arrive. My roof is fairly complex with dormers and lots of valleys, but the replacement was completed in two days. Clean-up was thorough. I found only a couple of nails left behind, wedged between deck boards and hard to extract. Four Velox Skylights were also replaced after the roof was completed. Siding repairs were done using left-over Western red cedar from my initial construction in 1990, along with new materials supplied by JGL. The crew demonstrated extreme craftsmanship in repairing/replacing all the aged and damaged areas. Gutters and gutter guards were installed with a bit of delay because my chose color was out of stock and had to be reordered. Robert agreed to upgrade the gutter guards at my request (after I had already signed the contract) from the screen-type originally proposed to a perforated sheet-metal type that had better recommendations for performance. I am hearing impaired, so virtually all my communication with Robert and JGL has been on-line with e-mail or text messages or in face-to-face conversations. I have to say that despite the doubtless inconvenience to him, Robert Gay has been always friendly, courteous, professional and thorough in his conduct toward me and my wife. I doubt that I will have to do business with JGL again in my lifetime, but if I end up with another house in need of a roof, I contact them in a heartbeat, and I recommend JGL to anyone without reservation.

Josh, the owner, came to give me my estimate. Very straight forward and got back to me very quickly. It was the best price I received, and I got a very good feeling from his responses to the questions I asked him. I signed the contract and dropped off a deposit and within 2 weeks had an install date. The installation was done on 24 June. The team did a fantastic job and did the best site clean up job I've ever seen. I've yet to find any nails or a scrap of shingle or felt paper larger than a dime. The final price was a bit higher than the initial quote due to some rotted decking (which I expected); the potential for that extra cost was spelled out in the contract. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor. I would definitely use JGL again.

Josh and the crews that work for him from JGL are the best. He was recommended to us from our realtor (Janice Spearbeck) when we bought our home in 2016 and we needed to do a few quick repairs before winter. We recently figured out our porch roof was leaking and so we called Josh to give us an estimate. Turns out flat roofs are pretty complicated and not all roofing companies will do them. The JGL crew not only replaced the roof, but fixed issues and stuff not done right by the last contractor. They also figured out why our downspouts were leaking, and fixed those as well. The day after they finished we got heavy rain and there were absolutely no leaks and water was pouring out the drains and away from the house. The work includes a 20 year warranty. We will pretty much only use JGL for all our future roofing work.

JGL put a new roof on our house in October 2018. Along with the roof, they installed two skylights, and replaced most of the rotted wood trim around the roof. They did an excellent job. Josh quickly provided a very thorough estimate, which beat the competition in terms of both price and timeliness. They delivered on time with high quality work. I am planning to use them again for my siding, and would recommend them highly to anyone.

There was a few weeks wait for his crew to get to my house because many homes had sustained roof damage from the windstorm earlier this year. They came on schedule and took a few days to complete the job. There appeared to be possible water damage to my second floor ceilings when it rained before they completed the job. Fortunately, it wasn't a leak and the company agreed to send a painter out to repaint the ceilings. Mr. Lewis honored this request even after a few months after the job had been completed so that the work could be done after my tenants had moved out.

Excellent. With all the work going on because of a storm, it took a while to get it done. BUT that was told upfront and once we targeted on a date, they made it happen. The crew was outstanding, 5 people all knew there jobs and did everything expertly. Was done rapidly and carefully. The cleanup was also very well done. Am very pleased.

Absolutely NOT professional and disrespectful of customers time!!! I had an appointment with them couple of weeks ago and they called me to cancel it just 2 hours before the time saying they had "scheduling conflict"!!!...how is that possible if the appointment was scheduled 2 weeks in advance?? I spoke to Josh the owner of this business and he apologized and said he'll stop by Monday the following week at 11 AM. Waited and then called to confirm if he's coming, the receptionist said he's on his way and that was at 11.10 AM. Up until 12.15, still no show, he didn't call or even recognize that people have life and we schedule our time out of work to meet these contractors. Disrespectful and disappointing. Will never call them back or even recommend this company. I do not understand how they have these good fake reviews. .well, fake is always good, is it?

Josh and his team were fantastic. They showed up promptly, accurately assessed the problem, offered a reasonable solution (which in this case was a roof replacement) and clearly outlined the plan. During the work, several additional problems were identifed including decking that needed to be replaced. Josh's team handled these additional task with no issues and only minimal increase in cost. Josh's team inspected the roof afterwards and return twice to answer my questions and concerns. Josh is a great guy who runs a great company. I highly recommend making Josh your first call for any roof issues/concerns.

Josh and his crew at JGL Roofing provided extraordinary service and a fantastic roofing job that pleased both my wife and myself. I had contacted four roofers for bids including the roofing company that put the roof being replaced on for me over twenty years ago. Josh was the only estimator that really listened to me and what I wanted and provided service second to none. I recommend him highly, he is a rare commodity in that he does what he says he will do and in my opinion is the "BEST VALUE" in roofing.

The owner came out to evaluate my existing roof. He determined that the roof itself probably has about 10 more years of life, but that the installation around the chimney was problematic. He agreed with my assessment that the existing valley at the top of the chimney penetration and the poor flashing installation was the cause of the water leaks during heavy rains and also suggested that I replace the 3 existing vent pipe penetrations. We agreed on a day for the work to be performed but it ended up raining hard that day so we rescheduled for the next business day. The crew showed up on time and were very friendly and professional. The work was completed on time and they did not find any damage to the substructure. The final work is neat and nicely installed and has already passed 2 heavy storm tests with no leaks. Yeah! I work in the construction industry and would highly recommend JGL to friends and coworkers.

I was very pleased with JGL Roofing. The sales rep Aaron was knowledgable, friendly and responsive. Once i signed the contract, the owner Josh was my point of contact. Josh was always responsive and kept in contact prior too, during, and after the job was complete, to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work. The work was done a day ahead of schedule because rain was in the forecast--an effort we greatly appreciated. Several days after the work was done, Josh Lewis returned to examing the work and took pictures showing the repair work that was done. We were pushed into a contract with another company that told us horror stories about our roof and then offered us a "deal" at literally twice what Josh cost. Thankfully we got a second and third opinion and went with Josh. His team got our roof done the following week, the installation and clean up taking a little over a day. His team was very polite and hard working. We had a situation arise that was quickly and professionally handled and I am overall very pleased with the results and with Josh and his team.
