Instead of presenting you with standard, cookie-cutter options and pricing in a few minutes, we arrive at a quote based on your wishes for the deck's design, material, drawings, type of railing system, and extras such as lighting, benches & planters. That takes time. When we come to do a consultation, our obvious goal is to win the job. We feel the best opportunity to win the job is to satisfy all decision-makers when both are present to contribute to the design and cost of the final project. - door was sturdy and had tamper proof hinges.
- installation was quick and efficient. took less than one day
- dead bolt mechanism was very secure.
- fish eye peep hole. could see around edges and had a wider view than normal peep holes
- during sale, everything was explained clearly. we were able to match the door color to the shutters.

We are now getting a new composite deck installed at our new house.
Installers were prompt, clean and efficient. Two installers wore booties through the house and cleaned up the area after. We did notice some closure issues and some jam issues later. Other installer did come back out, explained the problem and was able to fix it. The door is great and a huge improvement to our house.
We have contracted them for additional window installers. We had to have the sales staff/estimator come back out to reassess and measure. Still not thrilled with that part of the experience. But looking forward to the new windows soon.

Before the job started they measured every window in the house 3 times to insure proper sizing. We were told it would be about 3 months before the windows were ready to install, becuase they are custom built. They called to schedule the installation after two months (as arranged). They called prior to arrival to make sure I was home. They arrived promptly and went through to each window to double check size and placement before starting work. It took the crew of 6 to successfully install all 33 windows 3 days (big job). During that time they men were curteous and professional. I was able to leave the house several times to run errands and get away so that the baby could nap (it was noisy). They made sure to keep an eye out so that the family cat did not escape.
As they finished each window, they vaccumed the surrounding area and cleaned the window inside and out. When they left each day they took whatever trash they had accumulated with them. All in all it was a good crew, good attitudes that paid attention to detail and were very professional.
I highly recommend this company for any work on anyone's house.
Overall we were happy and would use Ameritech again for any other work we need to have done.
