The Pierson real estate team has helped us buy or sell 4 houses over the years and are the only real estate team that we've come across that provides a real value add in this time of online listings. They helped us strategize about how to get the house of our dreams within our budget. They have an excellent network of high-integrity other professionals and we have used their mortgage recommendation on perhaps 10 different refis and purchases over the last decade (we have rental properties). Tim and Liz are strong Christians of great character and really go the next mile to make sure your house is the home you want. We've watched them buy a house in 3 weeks or walk with friends' indecisiveness over a year and their responsiveness and patience never waivers. Great team!

I highly recommend working with Tim and his team. Not only did they manage the sale of my house with great guidance and speed but Tim personally stepped in to help with recommendations of contractors for small jobs to get it ready for market, including cleaners, handyman, packers--he even personally met the painters and some of the other vendors when I couldn't make it home to do so. His attention to detail and utmost professionalism really stood out. It was my first home sale and I had a million questions he carefully answered, never making me feel pressured or silly for asking. In addition, he provided staging tips that were a big help too. The house sold faster and for more than expected and with a lot less head/heartache than anticipated. I don't remember what the cost was but it was competitive with other realtors.

This is a long overdue review, but I wanted to circle back. My wife knew Tim from her previous attempts to find a home and I eventually had the pleasure of meeting him through her and the rest is history. Tim establish a great rapport with us and we knew we had our man. He worked with us in PATIENT manner, and believe me, there was alot to be patient about. He helped us find our new home in VA and kept us in an area we wanted to stay in so we were pleased. He always had our best interests at heart and I have no doubt that his motive and mission is to help us find a home we'll be happy living in. He's a good man and I know his team follows his lead.

Tim, and everyone on his team, is incredibly friendly, but also very competent and devoted to making the experience as positive as possible. At the time, and I presume still, Tim's office relies solely on word-of-mouth and other review based services such as this for new clients. That shows how much people enjoy their experiences with Tim and want to share it with their friends. In my own office of about 100 people, I think there are 7 of us who have used Tim, and everyone has had a positive experience. I found out after buying my place, that my next-door neighbor did as well. Although I initially worked with Tim over 3 years ago, he still checks in periodically (enough to be helpful, and not so much as to be annoying, just right) to make sure we are happy and to offer to help us if we want to do anything in the future. When I do move, I certainly plan to use Tim and his team again.

We moved to this area from the midwest to be close to family and were totally unfamiliar with both the local real estate market and buying process. This was a huge move for us as we were retiring, preparing to sell a large family home where we had been for over 30 years and move into a totally different living situation in an unfamiliar location. This meant major downsizing and redefining our needs for living space. We had several key criteria to begin our search and both TJ Walter and Tim Pierson were extremely helpful in guiding our thinking about priorities and possibilities. We had begun feeling out the market last spring over a family visit. Our son knew TJ socially and recommended him to us; at that time TJ very patiently educated us about choices, showing us several types of condos and expanding our thinking beyond what we had originally considered. Pierson Real Estate set us up with their online Listingbook which was invaluable as over the summer we were able to watch the market and get a clearer understanding of our options. Listingbook allowed us to put in criteria and then daily updated available housing. By the time we returned for a visit in August, we felt prepared to find the right condo for us. At that time Tim spent two days with us (accompanied by a 4 year old grandson) looking at condos - we had found several we wanted to see and actually, Tim identified the one we chose. He truly had a clear understanding of our needs and honed in on only those places that met our criteria. He was extremely patient, professional and knowledgeable. Once we made an offer, the entire team kept us updated and regularly answered our innumerable questions with a positive attitude. They made this a fun, positive process, took care of all the details, always had time for us and made sure that we were totally satisfied with the process. This group worked seamlessly as a team, kept us in the loop, always responded quickly to emails and phone calls - really we were shocked to get responses evenings and weekends - they always made us feel as though they were there just for us. We cannot say enough positive things about the great service we received from them - you don't buy or sell often so I doubt we will need their services anytime soon but we would certainly highly recommend them to anyone who needs a real estate agent.
