We are so happy with the work Lazaro, Carlos & their team did on our backyard patio! They were so professional, they listened to and delivered on everything we asked of them and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. The masonry on our front porch was crumbling, and the stones in our back-yard patio were becoming uneven. Horizon Landscaping Designs made both look brand new again! They were prompt, professional, and stuck with the original estimate. I'd definitely hire them again!

Great service from start to finish. We needed a large and tricky retaining wall building. Lazaro came in and advised on the best approach, and worked within our budgetary constraints. The work was completed on time and as agreed, and the crew were very careful and considerate in protecting the neighbor’s garden. We are very happy and will definitely be using Horizon for part 2 later this year !!!

They came on time for the estimate, came back two days later and finished when they said they would. My walk looks like it is new. The color of the grout was matched perfectly. They cleaned up each day and kept me informed. No one could have done a better job. I will absolutely use them again and you can’t go wrong hiring them.

I interviewed Mr. Bernal for a project that involved landscaping my terrace. I decided in the end not to do the project but I want to give Mr. Bernal a five-star review anyway. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.

Lazaro and his team were FANTASTIC!!! very professional, showed up on time everyday and got the job done right in the time stated. while they worked, each day they made a point to leave the area looking as tidy as possible, with tools collected and gathered. they power washed and cleared all debris from my backyard, installed a patio and rocks and mulch. they consulted me on the proposed patio pattern and rearranged the pattern when I didn't like the first proposal. Would definitely hire again as well as recommend to friends and family. very happy customer!

Lazaro and his crew members, Fidel, William, and Issac, transformed our back yard from being a dirty and unpleasant hellscape where my wife and I never spent any time to being a beautiful and clean space where we can host parties, cookouts, and relax. The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. Our back yard is now something to brag about! We are also confident that the work quality and materials are built to last a very long time. We are so happy. Thank you, Lazaro!

This is a second time I hired Lazaro because he did a superb job on pavement. This time, a bit hesitating to call him because it's landscaping work rather than hardscaping. However they did a great job removing weeds, adding top soil and planting sod and bushes with mulch on front yard. On side yard, they removed weeds, added top soil and planted seeds. I like his prompt response, reliability and commitment. They have a solid work habit. Strongly recommend.
