Next Day Blinds

The whole experience with Next Day Blinds was excellent. Their showroom had a large selection to choose from. The sales representative did a great job of helping me select the right blinds. The technician who came to measure the windows was prompt and professional. He pointed out some flaws in the windows so I would understand exactly how the blinds would fit. The technician who installed the blinds was prompt and professional. The quality of the product is excellent. The price ws kind of high, but I'm very happy with the results.

Lynn Nelson at the Falls Church location was a great help in explaining the various types of blinds available. Very helpful on color selections, too.
Everything was very easy and went just as scheduled, and the blinds look great! I'll go back to them soon for a door shade.
The blinds are not cheap, but they do come with a lifetime guarantee - I've needed repairs on previously purchased blinds several times over the years (pet damage) and have had no trouble at all getting them repaired.
There probably are cheaper alternatives, but I think NDB is worthwhile for the service, convenience, quality and lifetime guarantee.

Installation is in about 2 weeks.  So far, I'm very happy with the service.

Khalid in the Rockville showroom was courteous and helpful in assisting us with determining what type of blinds to purchase, as well as as generating an estimate. The measurer that came out was unfortunately late, but otherwise did a quick and accurate job - and our installer was similarly quick and put up our blinds neatly and to our satisfaction. Our contacts with the scheduling and payment contacts were similarly pleasant.
Easy recommendation for window treatment needs, and we'll be using NDB in the future for some other pending projects.

Michael was my point of conatct and he was wonderful!  He help guide me in the right type of blinds for my home decor.
His suggestions were spot on and we picked everything out that day, he did the measurments all in less then two hours.
His follow up was great, I am in customer service too and that is the down fall of most businesses.

They were punctual. They don't try to pressure you and the work was good.

Went very smoothly from the ordering process to the installation.  After choosing the blinds from the showroom, someone came out to measure.  We received the blinds in a timely manner and the install went smoothly.

They came to measure and discuss the different blind options, and then an installation person came out a few days later. Everyone was very professional, thorough, and efficient. The blinds are not inexpensive but they are very high quality and they offer a lifetime guarantee.

I stayed in one whole day to wait for the guy to come to measure. He did not turn up but came the next day. I was told late on the first day that he would not turn up. I then ordered a third set of shutters for my bathrooms.
I went to the shop to settle the payment and set up an installation time. On the day, there was snow so apparently, they could not drive in snow. They called to cancel, a call that I missed because I was out driving. My daughter accidentally erased the message before I had time to call back but I thought that was OK feeling sure that they would call back when i did not contact them. They never called back. In the beginning of April, I sent a message to the complaints page and surprise, surprise, they called the very same day to schedule the installation.... after two months! I said that I wanted my complaint treated as such, not as a way of jogging their memory and that I wanted my money back. The girl then said: So you don't want to schedule the installation then? We left it at that, I was expecting somebody to call but nothing, so I submitted another complaint and then called. The lady on the phone said that my money had been refunded. But nobody had told me! 
I have lived in six countries and I can without a doubt say that this is the worst customer service I have ever had! NO responsiveness or care and no apologies. Appalling. Look over your customer service department, it is not working.

It went great.  I picked out what I wanted, the rep. made some suggestions to make it more affordable, I made a partial payment, and they came out to measure the windows.  Scheduled and appointment for installation.  The summary of charges was very detailed and the installation was fast.  I had changed my mind about the color of the blinds in the kitchen and it wasn't an issue.

The sales woman understood our price range and the look we were going for on the main floor of our house.  She recommended the Honeycomb Cordless Duofold on the larger windows on the main floor, regular Honeycomb cordless for a few skinny windows, and wood blinds for a small bathroom window. 
We did not place the order during the initial consultation because I wanted to do more research on prices. Once we decided, we had a little trouble getting in touch with our sales rep in the days after the home visit (which was Christmas week) but a call to customer service helped us out.   It was easy to schedule an installation appointment that worked with our schedule. 
One of the most impressive parts of the service was the professionalism of the installer.   
A few days after our blinds were installed we called NDB again for more windows . We decided to put Honeycomb cordless in 2 small basement windows and we replaced the upstairs office blinds with wooden blinds.  The process for the second order was just a few days. 
When we redecorate the upstairs bedrooms in the house we will probably use this company again. 
We are loving the honeycomb blinds in the house and use the Duo function fairly often. 

had them install a set of vertical blinds on the opening of the "closet" that contains our HVAC and water heater.  the space had always been problematic with two bifold wooden doors that were unable to be leveled and always blew open when the entrance door to the house was closed.
Not only was the whole experience awesome, after Matt our installer got the check and was prepping to leave he asked for forgiveness as he spied a problem with my existing Hunter Douglas blinds and fixed them too!!!

The rep. came in and measured all the windows and the sliding door.  The installers came and removed the old blinds and installed the new ones with no issues  and were done in about 1 hour for 20 windows and 1 door.  Everything looks great!

They had decent prices. The workers seemed to be very competent, they did the job, and they did it very well. I don't have any problems with the blinds.

Salesperson and installer were great. Salesperson very knowledgable and made suggestion for 2 large window horizontal window covering that provided both light and complete light blockage

We had previously purchased window coverings from Next Day Blinds and recently put in all new windows in our home. Next Day Blinds came out and reinstalled our window coverings, perfectly, with no questions asked and did a wonderful job. They truly stand for great products and outstanding service. Our new windows with our Next Day Blinds window coverings look great.

They came out to measure, gave us an estimate, ordered the blinds, and they installed them for us. The process didn't take long at all and we are satisfied with the end result. They were very accomodating my schedule, and they worked around the pick up & drop off of my kids for the installation.

They honored their price-match guarantee, as they were not the lowest estimate we received.  We have used them before and will definitely use them again.

Several mistakes in measurements were overcome, with delays. The valence did not fit and a return call was required. After the valence was fixed and installed, the blinds did not function properly and had to be returned to the factory because these "De-light" blinds did not close fully to keep out light as advertised.  (This turned out to be a Hunter Douglas problem, not a Next Day Blinds problem.)  But the manufacturer intervened to expedite the factory return and the problem was fixed soon afterward.  There were also problems in payment processing, but they have now been resolved by the intervention of top management. 

They were very informative.  Measured windows, ordered selected blinds and installed them.  Don't according to schedule.  Very pleased.

It went well. The consultant who came to measure and advise us was very helpful and had a good sense of what would work in the room, both for looks and practicality. She was patient, no hurry and no pressure. We got two other estimates, one for shutters and one for both cellular blinds and shutters, both of hich surprisingly would have cost about the same. We went with NDB because we decided we liked the way the blinds would look better than shutters, the price was similar, and the NDB consultant had shown us a nice selection to choose from. Scheduling was easy--not next day, but close, on the day that was most convenient for us. The installer was prompt, pleasant, professional, and fast, and he reviewed operation and care with us. We held off on ordering a vertical blind for our patio door because we need to have the floor refinished in that room, but we intend to go for NDB then, too, as we liked the selection and the quote was good. There was a 20% discount in effect; I don't know if this is typical.
