Not a professional establishment for the type of service. not clean enough. Do not have proper equipment.

Very rude. Made my daughter very upset and did a horrible job.

I stopped by as a walk-in and was the only customer so I got treated
right away. I did the spa pedicure and it was great. Massage was
perfect. Quality of my nails was great. Cut my toe nails a little
shorter than I would have liked, but will catch that next time. My only
negative comment is the shop was not what I would call and quot;modernand quot; in it's
decor. From the outside I almost didn't go in. Inside, although it
was pretty clean and tidy, there were several stink bugs around, even on
my nail dryer! WIsh I could give an A- to reflect this. Other than
that, great ladies and great service!

Overall, I would not recommend this place.
The owner of the shop and her only worker that day were very friendly and accomodating. I got a Manicure, pedicure and lashes done. My lashes in particular were not well done. My right eye lashes are longer than my left and they got stuck to my skin, so it's causing a lot of discomfort. My manicure was very rashed. I paid for a gel manicure so that it would last for at least two weeks. My nails were peeling 3 days later.

I was very impressed with this place. I had purchased a deal through Specialious for partial eyelash extensions for $65, but upon arriving and talking to Thuy, I decided I wanted the full lash extensions. and asked if I could get a discount. Thuy charged me an additional $60 making the total $125 for $180 eyelash extensions. She did an excellent job and was very professional and friendly. Bauy did my mani/pedi and did an excellent job. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of work.

This was my fourth visit to Modern nails and I will never go anywhere else. They are amazing! Convenient location, cute Interior, and very sweet employees. I love to bring my daughter with me and she is given super special treatment, now she is always asking to go back. I have had gel nails done by other locations and it has not nearly last this long, it's the technique, and skill of Modern that's making them last. I'm going on week 3 now and have another appointment this week coming and they still look perfect. Eyelashes are an added bonus and the price here is unbeatable. If you are looking for a new place to go to LOOK no further you will be extremely happy with there service and quality.

I felt very relaxed and unpressured. She speaks excellant English, and does a very good job with reasonable prices. She has a very pretty clean shop in the city of Fairfax right by the Yesterday Rose strip mall, by 7-Eleven.
