Alyssa was awesome! She arrived on time and was very professional. She worked methodically through the house and found mold in areas we were not tracking. Only complaint is price is steep, but part of the journey if you want to get rid of the mold for good.

I spoke with Jack Geller multiple times through two home contracts that had environmental issues including asbestos and lead. Jack was so kind and advised me on what to do without even being hired to do the job. He always answered the phone, even offered for me to email him photos, and provided a referral for MD lead paint testing since his company doesn't do lead paint testing in MD. The lead paint testing referral was excellent, and I felt like I was in very good hands due to the referral. I spend countless phone calls with Jack regarding what to do and how to proceed with the asbestos problems. Jack provided a variety of suggested solutions, connected me with a remediation company, and was truly wonderful. I cannot believe how helpful he was considering I hadn't even hired the company/paid them anything. I truly trust him, he is a step above any other company that handles this (and I made many, many phone calls). I highly recommend this company and wouldn't trust another one to do environmental testing and guidance.

We used Geller Environmental Labs for a residential asbestos inspection and associated sampling in D.C. in 2019. They were very prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend them.

We bought a house in Arlington this past February needing attic remediation. Boy am I glad that we used Geller Environmental Labs to inspect the completed repairs. Jack Geller, the owner, was so thorough from start to finish. We ran into multiple issues with the contractor completing the repairs, and Geller Labs made sure that things were done correctly. I had many questions throughout the process, and Jack was very patient and detailed in his explanations. It was a huge relief knowing that someone was looking out for my family. Gellar Environmental Labs provided the hard information and analysis my family needed to move forward after a series of stressful issues befell our home and lives in south Arlington - but perhaps more importantly, the people there delivered it with care, patience and a real human touch. The extra time Jack spent over the phone from the time I first called until the testing was completed made a real difference in putting our fears in perspective and ultimately, allaying them. Jack's employees similarly took the extra time necessary to answer all questions with detail and kindness. As stressful as the overall experience was for us (which started with water leaking into our basement after a contractor error and eventually lead to air sampling tests for mold and asbestos), it ended with our basement - and our peace of mind - restored, thanks in large part to Geller Environmental.

Geller Environmental was professional and responsive throughout the process, from initial contact through the inspection and reporting. They quoted a fair price and walked me through the whole house on the day of inspection. I asked a lot of questions during the process, and now feel much more knowledgeable (and at ease) about my property. I can unreservedly recommend Geller Environmental for lead inspection services, and would definitely hire them again for other work.

Geller Labs came in and took samples of air and the surface that had tiles and mastic removed. In addition they took three ceiling samples. We basically got 48 hour turn around. It allowed the additional work we had scheduled to proceed on schedule. The cost of the service was for both tests.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. They truly have their customers needs before their's. Everyone is professional and are very easy to talk to. Rusty was our inspector (hope I spelled his name right) and he was phenomenal. He broke down everything and explained in great detail on how our problem occurred and What I needed to know to help keep our family safe. It was an honest pleasure using this company, I felt I could trust them with everything.

Once we closed on the house, Jack and his team came out to do both sample testing and air quality testing. The process was quick and easy, and we had results for the air quality the next day, and a sample testing in two business days. The process couldn't have been easier or more pleasant.

I hope I never need to hire an asbestos testing service again. But if I do, I'm calling Geller Labs. Jack Geller and his staff are precisely the sort of people you'd want for this type of job--knowledgeable, honest, and professional. After an easy-to-schedule initial phone consultation, Jack and an associate came to my house at the prearranged time, took samples as needed, answered all of my questions, and talked with me about what the results likely would show and what I could expect during the remediation process. He wasn't pushy, and he didn't try to sell me additional services or take unnecessary samples. In fact, he made clear before coming out that he would work with me on the per-sample cost (after the first, for which he charges a flat fee of $350), and ultimately charged me considerably less than the quoted price. The whole visit--including the time we spent talking--lasted less than an hour. Two days later I received a written report, complete with test results from a third-party lab, that detailed where they had located asbestos, the type of asbestos found, and the percentage of asbestos in each sample. Jack then made himself available to answer any additional questions I had and gave me his candid thoughts about the remediation companies I was considering hiring. (Note that Geller Labs does not actually remove asbestos containing materials--it only tests for them. And while Jack et al. no doubt have preferred remediation companies to recommend, they don't push you to hire their favorites.) I can't recommend Jack Geller and Geller Labs highly enough. They were exactly what I hoped they would be. If you think you have asbestos (or lead, or dangerous mold) in your home, give them a call.

If you need to have your home tested use this company. Making the appointment was easy. Came to the house on time and had the report completed with in 24 hours.

Scheduling was a breeze and over email. The inspector, Pat, came out despite the Metro shutdown making traffic a challenge. He was very professional and efficient, and explained everything to me and answered my questions. The office submitted the written report to me the same night (appointment at 10am, report submitted by 6pm). Only down side was the bill. Not sure how it compares in price to other places, and I know the equipment is expensive to maintain, but the amount still raised my eyebrows. (They gave me the quote up front so it wasn't a surprise). All in all, I was impressed with this service and would recommend them.

I was very pleased from the first conversation. The provider explained everything very clearly and was able to do a site visit to obtain samples  within two days.  I received the results very quickly.  I have to say dealing with this business has been the easiest part of the whole project so far. They were very professional.

The conditions of my household did not warrant their services at this time. I would definitely use their services if needed.
