I was so happy with the work they did! The installer was very good. We had a slight problem with the metal/wood pieces you put on the edge of the flooring where two rooms meet, they didn't have the right one with them. The original person came back out and fixed it himself the next week. I was very pleased with their response to the little detail items. I now plan on having them come out in the near future to install carpeting for me as well.

I really appreciated the professionalism of Matt from our initial visit to their showroom, to our final selection of carpet and scheduling the install. We needed to go back and forth a few times on the color for the carpet but Matt continued to guide us with professionalism (even though I am sure he goes through this a lot). The installers showed up on time and were extremely careful with the install - we needed them to move 2 large pieces of furniture and had just had the room painted so were concerned about having to do touch ups (I hate to paint). Furniture was moved without concern and I am still looking for paint to touch up - so much for our worries. The carpet looks great. I would highly recommend Fairfax Floors!

They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They were very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the work for us.

Fairfax Floors did an excellent job. The salesman, Matt, was wonderful, not pushy, and very knowledgeable about the products. He came within the next day or two to measure for the job. The carpet runner arrived the next week (as Matt had informed me). The company then called to schedule the installation for the next week. The installers arrived on time and completed the job. The installers did a fantastic job (much better than the original runner installation; not done by this company). This job was very difficult as the top part of the stairway turns on an uneven curve. The installers were very careful and consulted with me regarding how the top steps should be carpeted. I am very, very pleased with the job and the outcome. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent job. We said we were interested in bamboo and Matt provided good advice for what type to use, particular points about the install (floating vs non, what to use for shoe molding, what to use on the stairs since the bamboo stair pieces are very expensive), etc. They were the only company that recommended storing the flooring in our house for a few days prior to the install so that it would match the temperature and humidity. All of this showed us that they really knew the product as opposed to other companies which said they did bamboo but didn't appear to have much experience with it. Job lasted 1/2 day more than expected (2 1/2 total), but inconvenience was minimal. The installers listened to us about which rooms we wanted completed first and did the best they could to accommodate the requests. They did a good job cleaning up. Only minor complaint was they didn't put down a cloth between outside door where they did their cutting and moving of supplies and location of the install, so floor in that area got very dirty. Still, they vacuumed and cleaned it up nicely when job was done.

Mike Madill was very helpful in steering us toward products that would meet our requirements, so that we did not have to waste time looking at everything in the showroom. There was some delay obtaining large size samples in the colors we were interested in, but that was the fault of the manufacturer. We received a free padding upgrade since we were Angie's List customers, and the re-stretching of existing carpet in one room was also complimentary. Mike even brought a contract to our home during a winter storm so that we would not have to go out, and switched our order to a different width carpet when it became clear that the original width would take too long to produce. Installation went very smoothly, and the entire large job was completed in one day. The crew was competent, efficient, polite, and respectful of our home and furnishings. We could not be more pleased with the finished product.

I visited the showroom. Matt educated me on the different types of carpeting. He helped me pick out a few samples. He then came to my house and measured the room. He called me within 3 days to arrange for the installation. Fairfax Floors called the day before to confirm the date and time. The installers called me 30 minutes before arrival. The installers were polite and worked diligently. They cleaned up afterwards. Matt called the next day to ask if everything went well. It was a good experience.

We picked out the carpeting in the Fairfax Floors showroom. We were impressed with the low-pressure sales environment. The salesperson (Michael Ran) was very helpful. He even distracted our two-year old while we deliberated. We scheduled the installation for approximately 4 weeks later (our choice because of other work being done in the house). When we contacted Fairfax two weeks later to request a slightly different date, they accommodated us. On the scheduled day of installation, the crew arrived exactly on time. They gave us an estimate for the length of time to complete the installation and completed everything in exactly that amount of time. We were very happy with the overall result.

Company promptly scheduled and completed work. They did an excellent job installing floors, and stairs, which essentially had to be rebuilt. They quickly responded to our request to touch-up a few small areas. They were careful when moving our furniture, and cleaned up when finished.

Less expensive than anyone else. Installation was excellent. Efficient and timely. They even sent me a thank you card. I have already recommended them to four or five people.

It went well. Salesman was attentive and helpful in the showroom, on time and pleasant when visiting to make measurements. Some delays in calling to make arrangements for the install, but they arrived on time and did a nice job and were careful moving furniture out of and back into the rooms. They put an extra piece of carpet under my treadmill, and took another remnant back to the warehouse, to bind the edges up nice for use as an entry mat. One of their guys dropped it off at my house a few days later. Nice touch.

We had looked at several carpet retailers and were disappointed by the selection and prices. We went to Fairfax Floors as a final effort. What a difference. Not only was Kevin Bisbee helpful, knowledgeable and not at all high pressure, but the selection was fabulous. Kevin measured the area for carpet himself a day after we signed the contract. The carpet was put down a few days after that. The carpet installers were incredibly polite and courteous. We were incredibly impressed.

The workmen were on time and finished the whole job, including removing and replacing furniture, in three hours. Looks great!

Person who answered phone very abrupt when I stated I needed an installation and already had the flooring. He stated that they do no work unless you buy the flooring from them.

Excellent performance of job by this company. Personnel most agreeable to deal with. Price was very reasonable. The company installed the flooring in my kitchen and foyer for $1800. The quote I received from another major firm for installing the same vinyl in my kitchen only, (not foyer) was $3000.
