Tom was quick to perform an estimate, his team worked quickly and professionally, and when there was a slight hiccup they were extraordinarily prompt and responsive in getting the issue addressed. We will definitely call Tom first when we have another project to tackle.

CertaPro power washed and painted the exterior of my home. They provided a timely response, a fair quote, and quality work. I will use them again.

Repainted all our kitchen cabinets. I was initially concerned that the paint was to be applied with brush and roller, rather than sprayed. But the result was perfect. The cabinets look better than new. Great service, excellent price. Highly recommend!

CertaPro Chantilly was the only painter I could find that could complete my large project on very short notice. The painters were very friendly and ensured that I was involved in every decision, and even went out of their way to paint a few small areas that needed attention but weren't included in the original quote. The painters clearly take pride in their work and did an excellent job. The price was very reasonable given the short notice and large amount of work. Would definitely recommend for any interior painting project, large or small.

Tom Thoma is the manager. After having other painters, these people never say, oh that's going to be more. They never get into a contest. If there's a little more wood rot, they just fix it. They don't say oh that's going to be another $250. I found these guys about 10 years ago and I will not call any other painters. They are excellent. If they send a big crew they were in and out of this house in 24 hours with 2 coats. They will move all the furniture and they will tell you please take down anything breakable. Tom Thoma is out there checking on every job and in and out of the houses on every job.

The owner and his crew were most impressive, professional, and capable. The work was done very quickly and well. We are most happy with the experience.

Tom and his team were simply fantastic, from the very beginning while we gathered estimates to the final walk through after the job completion. The estimate was thorough and on-point to exactly what we requested. The cost was very competitive with other contractors who provided estimates. Tom provided updated estimates as the scope changed both before and during the job. We were never left wondering what the final cost would be. The painters literally transformed our home and did a great job overall. I am not the easiest person to please when it comes to quality, and this team surpassed my expectations. I definitely plan to use them again.

It's great when things go perfectly, but it is really important how a company responds when they don't.  I contracted for a single coat of paint which necessitated that I stick with the same color as then currently on the walls.  The foyer had one color, the bedroom and bath another.  The painter used the foyer color throughout, and so one coat was not adequate in the bedroom and bathroom.  In addition, even the foyer was rather shoddily done.  I called the owner, Tom, and he came right out.  He inspected the job and concluded that indeed it was not up to his standard.  I expected a lot of arguing, but got none.  He offered to cancel the contract (pay nothing) or fix it.  He seemed earnest, so I chose fix it.  He sent another crew out and they did a wonderful job.  I am now very satisfied.  As I said, things sometimes just don't turn out quite right.  It's great to know that some companies still care about quality and their reputations.  CertaPro Painters of Chantilly is one of those companies.

The property received a contract before any work was done.

Owner Dave Forman did the estimate and was able to convince me their team knew how to solve the problems, in particular the need to chemically strip all the cedar soffits and power wash after stripping to get them back to looking like the interior cedar ceilings adjacent to the soffits.  Other estimators either thought it could not be done, or wanted to sand {$$$} all the soffits, or said they would "try to find out" what chemicals to use.  The stripping involved applying one chemical (sodium hydroxide), allowing it to work, then hitting it with a neutralizer, then power washing with bleach.  Certapro was not the cheapest estimate, but the thoroughness of the estimate write up, inclusion of patching woodpecker holes etc. was convincing. I was not disappointed in any way by the actual job!  The top-notch stain materials they used covered perfectly without resort to a second coat.  CertaPro was not the low bidder, but they were the ones whose estimate I could "believe".
The crew, lead by Oliver, were delayed a week in starting due to rain on the previous job, but they told me they would be behind schedule ahead of time.  Once they arrived and started work, they worked steadily, if not "fast", except when rain again delayed things for several days in progress.  They moved all the lawn furniture, grills etc. off the decks and planned to put them back after the decks were allowed to dry for 4-7 days.  As the house had lots of 4'x8' two-story vertical glass, they had to place ladders at right angles against beams 8 ft. apart and strip/wash/stain over their heads and behind themselves.  Before actually staining, they applied sample materials to small inconspicuous areas and asked me to verify the color selection for primary stain, beams & trim, and clear coating.   The job turned out looking fantastic everywhere, and the clear coating on the signature mahogany "waffle" door of my Deck House (tm) restored it to its original glory. During power washing, some small water leakage occurred, but as soon a we spotted the leaks they quit power washing where the leaks came through and handled those areas by hand.  The men worked M-F but also on the only non-rainy Saturday we experienced.   
As it turned out, it was over a week after finishing that the crew returned to replace the deck furniture, so  we had put all but one heavy article back in place ourselves before they returned.  However, they did return while I was gone and replaced the heavy outdoor "chiminea"  exactly where it belonged.
Bottom line: These people know how to do a good job at a fair price and get the job done RIGHT.  I would recommend them to anyone.

Requested an estimate to paint interior of house in prep to
list for sale.  Franchise owner spent more than an hour looking at the house
and working on a laptop.  I finally had to excuse myself and asked for him
to finish the estimate elsewhere and email it to me.  Never heard from him
again.

The job went great and right on time.  They did an outstanding job in matching up the color of the trim.  Very punctional, realiable, neat, and courteous.  I will defintely use Certa Pro Painters again and recommend them as well.

Since our job was relatively small, it was a challenge to schedule the 2 days of work around their other, larger jobs.   The crew was very professional once they were on site.   The work was done well and the results are great!

I had two months to get ready for this appointment but still wasn't ready to decide on paint colors when they arrived to take my order to the paint store! Noe was very, very patient and kind and had his boss call on their professional color advisor to pay me an emergency visit. She was great and the colors turned out very well. They were very neat and the results were professional

I was expecting a much higher estimate, but was surprised to see the entire job was so affordable.  The crew was as neat as they could be, and the job went without a hitch.   I came home from work on the second day, and my house looked like a new house. All I had to do was re-hang the draperies and artwork.  They had moved all the furniture back to its original spot.   I plan to bring them back to do the bedrooms. 

My wife and I decided to hire professionals to paint the 3rd floor of our townhouse. We did some research and read multiple reviews online that led us to CertaPro of Chantilly. The owner, Steven Curry, came out to our house and clearly explained the process and provided a free estimate. Overall, Steven was professional, thorough, and patient in explaining the company, painting service, and cost estimate. Steven also explained they could easily match our paint colors from another dealer with no extra charge. As scheduled, the painting job took three days to complete. CertaPro adjusted the work hours from 8:30AM to 5:00pm each day to accommodate our busy schedule. The painters arrived 15mins early everyday and started working immediately. The painters were respectful, courteous, and amenable to our needs. My wife and I were extremely impressed by the speed and quality of work. Bottom line, we could not find anything wrong with the entire process and DEFINITELY recommend CertaPro of Chantilly to anyone looking for professional painters.
