AAA Recycling & Trash Removal

I initially hired AAA for dumpster service in August. The service started off fine. It quickly turned worse once I began receiving invoices. To get service, AAA requires that you enroll in auto-pay. AAA would charge fees to my account prior to me receiving invoices. Once I received invoices, I saw that I was being overcharged. I contacted the accounting department, and the person I spoke with couldn't even tell me what some of the charges were for. It took over a week to straighten out my account and get AAA to acknowlegde that they owed me a credit for over $100. The following day, AAA charged another amount from my account not taking into consideration the credit they owed me. I tried to disenroll from autopay and they refused to do it. I dropped their service and went with another company. AAA even overcharged me on the last invoice. I am still trying to get this straightened out. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating. When I first hired AAA, I got the impression that billing was simple - one price for dumping/delivery. There were several additional fees (high fuel & environmental charges and rental fees) on each invoice. In addition, they somehow seemed to charge an overweight limit for each dumping. In a period of 3 months, I spent almost $3000. There is no clear billing with AAA. They charge your account and then try to explain the fees later. I was very disappointed and would not use AAA again. There are several other dumpster services that provide better prices and guarantee no additional fees.

They are good and they deal with the trash in the surroundings well. We separate the trash to paper, glass, plastic etc. Their price is fair and I would hire them in the future.

We finally canceled our service with AAA Trash because their prices were increasing on a fairly regular basis. It was very difficult to cancel the service. We received a statement for $100 because they didn't have it recorded that they picked up our bins. Additionally we were billed for three months after we had canceled our service.

Pretty good. Always takes large items when we leave them out without extra charge. Always on time and on schedule, even picking up on holidays. Recently gave us separate recycling containers that hold a lot more and they no longer require separating glass, plastic and paper.

They come when they say they will and pick up everything you leave for them (within their guidelines).

Inconsistent pricing from house to house, always increasing. Twice as costly as company I switched to recently. Occasionally passed without collecting, phone call usually brought a truck the next business day or 2. Failed to send bill periodically and hassled me "for not paying." Sometimes claimed unpaid before the mail delivered it to me; no automatic charge plan for credit cards.

Service was fine until I told them I was going to drop their services to go with a cheaper alternative. They then told me they would match ANY bid to keep me, however, they previously had continued to raise my rates before I told them I was going to use another services. AAA then imposed an undisclosed fee of $45 to pick up their trash can and then charged me $25 to clean their trash can. Took almost two full months before they refunded my overpayment. I believe they were simply being vindictive and jerks trying to punish me for dropping their company for a cheaper alternative.

Rocky at the start. They missed the recycle pick ups a lot though they've never missed a normal trash pick up without good reason. After about six months I started calling in every time a pick up was missed and became a little more aggressive (less patient) with the services phone support staff by doing such things as reminding them that the recycling hadn't been picked up for two weeks in a row, or that the recycling pick up had been missed three out of the past four weeks, etc... After I got the recycling service sorted out, they haven't missed a pick up of any type in more that a year. Good company, low prices. They do credit your bill for missed pickups if you notify them promptly so even when a pickup is missed, it's not as if they're taking your money too.

They come quickly and I am very impressed with the service. They are hard working and the price is reasonable as well. They are good and we pay for the service every three months. We would highly recommend them to other people.
