JMR Home Improvement, LLC

JMR started our kitchen remodel in August of 2017. It is not June of 2019 and the contractor refuses to finish the job after he was paid all of the money. Our kitchen tile floors are uneven and cracked. Our granite counter top is cracked and needs to be replaced. Our cabinets were installed so quickly that his crews broke a drawer. We are still missing 4 cabinet doors. The owner Jeremy Rhodenhizer won't return my calls and he won't finish the project. This is a nightmare contractor that you want to stay away from!

There is no good reason to go with anyone else. My basement was finished on time and on budget. All crews are employed by the company and were easy to work with.

Overall it went very well.

They were punctual and professional.  The work was done so quickly it was amazing.  And my floor looks beautiful.  I'm thrilled with the quality of work done.  When Chris came back to put in my toilet, he even fixed the back of the toilet for me.  I couldn't ask for any better service.  I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My experience with them had been great.  They were great.  They were here.  They did what they were supposed to do in a normal time manner.

JMR did a complete removal of our old carpet and installed hardwood floors. We chose a real hardwood and JMR did an amazing job with the installation. We are 100% satisfied with the work. The project was completed on-time and within budget.

After a leak in our home, the flooring had to be replaced in the kitchen and hallway and drywall installed and painted in a closet. The experience with JMR Home Improvement was excellent right from the moment that I first contacted them. Jeremy promptly contacted me and scheduled a time to come and review the work that needed to be done. He provided me with flooring samples and a proposal faster than any other company that I have dealt with before. His crew was courteous, knowledgeable, and worked very full days to complete the job. The floors and the closet look wonderful. You cannot tell that the ceiling had to be replaced due to water damage because of the expert way that the drywall was installed. The crew cleaned up the work areas as they worked so I only had the usual clean up after a home improvement project. I will definitely call JMR Home Improvement for any future projects.

The price was average. He was busy with bigger jobs and our job was not as big. We would absolutely use him again. He is the person we call when we need something done.

We've had Jeremy on large and small projects, everything from building us a pergola to backsplash, finishing our porch and several other miscellaneous projects around the house. We've always been 100% satisfied.  He is a bit more than you might find, but it's well worth it. Given the quality of the work and the timeliness of its completion, I'll gladly pay a few extra dollars. Piece of mind is worth it on a large project.

John and his crew have been doing our home improvements for almost 7 years and in two of our homes.  In our previous home he did our kitchen, living room, dining room, and basement remodels.  The quality of work is second to none.  When we listed our home for sale in 2010 we had multiple offers in 4 days and a contract in 8 days.  John's work is the reason we sold so quickly in a horrible seller’s market.  He's not just a very talented craftsman but a very gifted artist with an exceptional eye for wow factors.  We recently invited John back to our new home where he did an absolutely spectacular job finishing our basement on a very austere budget.  The room is so inviting and comfortable that we have a hard time getting guests to leave.  I call John my aircraft carrier because whenever there's trouble he's the first call I make.  I trust him implicitly with my home and have never had an ounce of anxiety over his work or invoices.  His crew is always friendly and respectful.  I’ll be contracting with JMR to add value to my home for many years to come.

JMR provided exceptional customer service, great pricing, and high quality work.  Hurricane Sandy damaged some siding on my townhouse.  A friend referred me to JMR, so I called Jeremy (the owner) the day the storm stopped and he had someone out the same day to tarp the areas of where siding was missing.  My aluminum siding isn't made anymore, so Jeremy found siding that nearly perfectly matched my existing siding and replaced all the siding on the house (insurance wanted the entire siding replaced if no exact replacement could be found).  The job took them longer than expected (about 2.5 days), but the results were beautiful.  They wrapped all the facia boards and eaves in matching vinyl, and installed special fittings around the exterior water faucets and lights.
JMR installed tile floors in my bathrooms as well.  I purchased the tile of my choice and the grout of my choice, and they provided the thinset, backer board, spacers, and toe molding.  The job took about 1.5 days, and the results, again, were beautiful.  The workers were also very professional and courteous.  I have two full and two half baths.  They removed the toilets and installed new wax rings when they reinstalled them.  They also adjusted a door that didn't close appropriately due to the new marble threshold installed with the tile.
Jeremy also had one of his workers come over and repair some wood rot around my front door, which took a couple hours.  Again, high quality work.
Overall, I'd give JMR and Jeremy an A+.  I will definitely use him again for home repair and improvement work.
