The contractors that previously worked on our house did not do a good job. They installed a unit that wasn't right for a 2 story home. Colonial Plumbing & Heating Co., Inc. replaced original unit with a larger one that could handle downstairs and installed a smaller unit for upstairs. Our home stays cool even on the days when the temperature reaches 91 degrees so right now I am really pleased. They were very pricey, but it was something we needed to do, Their service was good and their employees were professional. I believe the service was worth the money especially considering that it came with a 10 year warranty for parts and service.

They came out, looked at the staff and where the water heater was. The water heater they had brought with them wasn't gonna work because we had a gas water heater that was vented to the outside, they gave us a choice of either ordering one like that and would take two weeks to get here, (our grandson had been born and was getting home so we needed hot water in the house) or putting a tank-less water heater and that's the way we went because it was about the same price and they installed it on that Friday. They were very thorough, came when they said they were gonna come and were done by the time they thought they would be done. They explained everything to me. They installed it very professionally and I was very pleased with the installation and everything else.

We found this vendor in Angie's List.  Our call was received by one of the most courteous and helpful call center workers that we have encountered in a very long time.  She insured that she understood our requirement and sat up an appointment. 
The installation crew arrived on-time and surveyed the problem.  They had to disconnect the old gas line, drill new holes from the crawl space into our kitchen and install a new gas line with associated new connections.  Also the old holes were filled in the crawl space and in the kitchen to block rodents and to prevent airflow.  
After the above work was done, they insured that all gas appliances and the water heater were working before leaving.
The plumbers were polite and efficient.  They rapidly performed the job in a little over an hour.  We were also very pleased with the price.

Went well. I apologize for a previous negative review for this company which was undeserved. To make sure I asked them back once and then again. They're great! I was mistaken in my previous assessment and must have confused them with someone else.

They are always on time, which is greatly appreciated.  I  have been a customer for many years and they take great care of me.

Rep was on time, did his work professionally, left the bathroom in the same condition he found it.
He didn' t mind my 20 stupid questions on what/how he was doing.  Actually learned quite a bit from him.
I was a little concerned about the price for an hour worth of work but i feel he did a Class A job, so not real worried about it.
I will, however, recommend to the next college bound youngster to consider plumbing instead of 4 years of institutional stuff.

We were moving into our new house and found the day before that the main water line valve was broke and had no water. The next morning I called Colonial at 6:45am and a real live person answered the phone. After explaining our problem that we had no water and a moving van going to show up in about 2 hours. They said they would have someone out in less then an hour. At 7:45 the truck drove and the two tech. had out water fixed in about 45 minutes. Yea, we had water. What GREAT SERVICE, they have all my business. Best part it only cost $136

They show up when promised, they are very clean, efficient, and friendly.

The plumber came and replaced faucets for a double sink in the bathroom. The coupon was a great savings.

Very pleased with work. Plumbers Tony and Greg showed up on time, looked professional and listened attentively to my description of problems. Work completed to my satisfaction. They had to deal with nuances associated with older home. Corrected leaking shower and kitchen facets. Value per dollar is good-true determination will be if facets remain leak free in a week but thus far "problem solved" as Tony said. Thank you and would highly recommend company and plumber Tony along with assistant Greg.

.  The guys came on time, assessed the job in short order, asked me how I wanted things hooked up, checked with me regarding switching the location of the disposal to the other sink after explaining the options, and got it all done very quickly.  They showed me everything when they were done, and turned everything on & off to make sure it was all working with no leaks.  I was very happy with the work done and would definitely use them again.  Rather expensive, but that's the plumbing world.

Installed bath faucet, put new handle on toilet and repaired inside of toilet - can't remember what the part is called. Anyway, I bought the $89 Angie's list deal for the faucet and then added the handle, then decided they should fix the constant running of the toilet too. They did a great job and were very pleasant. I think one of them was an apprentice. Anyway - very satisfied with their work and their flexibility. They could have said they didn't have time to do the added on repair, but they were glad to do it and had the part with them.

I purchase an annual maintenance agreement with the firm ($241.00)and they provide free maintenance of my air conditioning and heating systems; I schedule two inspections annually and any other calls are free.
