It was fixed. Also, piece in toilet tank was pushed more firmly down so that hopefully it won't come out every couple of days, and screws on toilet seat were tightened so the seat doesn't move around.

I have been working with Colonial Plumbing and heating for over a year; both personal and professional capacity. I have dealt with many difference administrative and technical staff. Each person has always been helpful, courteous and professional. They arrive on time, if not earlier, and provide accurate written estimates. The technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional. I really appreciate this company and all of their staff. It doesn't matter if its a small job like lighting a gas fire place or a large job-installing gas lines or repairing units, they are always professional, courteous and within the estimate.

The serviceman Joe was polite, respectful, knowledgeable, and personable. I appreciated how he explained what he was doing along with his findings as he went along. Because of him, I purchased a service agreement and now look forward to a long and mutually beneficial working relationship with Colonial Plumbing and Heating! EVERYTHING is expensive nowadays, but I do feel that I got my money's worth! It was a very positive experience.

Tony was prompt and fixed my frozen/leaking outdoor spigot the day that Richmond received the January snow. The price was highly reasonable and he fixed the problem within an hour. He was kind and professional. And was even willing to look at my toilet quickly when the main job was completed. If I have any plumbing problems in the future I would certainly call Colonial Plumbing and Heating again.

They were prompt and courteous. They actually saved us $100 by finding a cheaper way to repair the problem then originally intended. We talked through each decision and they were very patient and respectful with our questions.

Very well! Jacob was very prompt, efficient and professional. He had done some work several months before that, replacing bath tub faucet and had given me an estimate on the other work I needed done. Everything that has been worked on works very well! The estimate of time/cost was spot on! Would definitely recommend their services.

The repair solved the original pipe misalignment that resulted in repeated leakage damage. They were the only one of four contractors how did the job right.

Actually, when I had the house inspection it failed. What happened was apparently the supervisor didn’t come out to review the installation. I had all kinds of leaking going on. They had removed the vapor barrier from underneath the air handler and that was the first time I had mold and mildew growing. They’ve been servicing me a while, but for years we’ve had some issues where I’ve had to call them back. They did repair and there was no cost to everything after I showed them what the inspector had indicated. I thought the price was good. I thought it was competitive. They need to follow up. They should have installed that right in the first place. I would use them again, but they need to be followed up.

Excellent they are very good and on time. I thought their rates were a bit little high, but given the nature of my emergency need on a Sunday for when one of my water pipes burst back in January when we had a really, really, really cold snap here in Virginia. They came out and capped it, because the water was coming in my house. They were good, and professional, and courteous. I wasn't expecting to pay out as much as I did but it was well worth it. A day later another pipe burst and they had to come back and fix that one. They were very good. They were very prompt and courteous. They took the time to explain everything they were doing and everything else. They had to do a third visit because they had to come out and reconnect the line that they capped. I would give them an A because they came they were very responsive. Another company I called said they couldn't get anybody out for 24-48 hours. I said that isn't going to work because I have a 2 year old grandson living in the house. Not knowing the prices I would still give them an A because the most important thing was that they were here when we needed them. Price would be a B+ because I thought they were a little high in the first place. Quality is an A on that because they fixed it they checked it and they fixed it. They also came out and did the piping insulation for me. When I called them at 3 they had someone out here by 5 on a Sunday. They were here when they said they would be so I would give them and A too. If I could give them an A+ I would give them an A+. The office was very professional. When I questioned something on the bill they actually made an adjustment because of my question. They were real top notch. They even let my grandson hold the flashlight for them so he could see. The hallway lighting was also out because of the water damage. They were in my phone until I erased my contacts so I need to go back and put there in there.

The company helped us with the emergency situation a few years back when the entire house was not draining at all. A few years later, we ran into a similar situation, and they assisted in helping the house drain again, identifying the source of the new problem. They have since installed a work-around / back up drain clean out. The employees that have come out have been thorough and made sure we were back to draining sewer wise normally. They also gave us valuable advice with regards to the plumbing concerns we had. While we heard of the company through another friend at work, they are deserving of being on Angie's List as a reputable contractor. I will be contacting them shortly for another maintenance call.

They were excellent.  They checked it so I could sell the house with a clean slate. They did tell me the HVAC system had some age on it, but nothing was wrong with it. It was in good working order. They were able to talk with me and communicate with me in such a way that I felt comfortable with the person and I felt like the person was knowledgeable and could communicate with me the customer.
