Town and Country Veterinary Services were good. They did a good job there. Their availability was good and they are genuinely concerned and willing to help. Their prices were fair. They run a 24 hour service.

This is not my regular vet, but my cat is in the ramping up process for allergy desensitization, and his vet's absence over the Christmas week was going to interfere with that. Town and Country was willing to let me bring him in three times and had one of their techs do the injection.
I realized on the first visit that their normal procedure is to take the animal to the back to do the injection. That made me really uneasy,
since this cat is formerly wild and still very timid. When I asked if it had to be that way, the receptionist said she would see what could be done, and a few minutes later I was called to an exam room where the tech had brought my cat so I could be there while she gave the injection.
They remembered my preference the next two times I took him there, so I didn't have to ask for special treatment again. I was impressed. I will definitely use Town and Country again if I need help when my regular vet is away.

After using this facility for Vetrinary care and boarding on multiple occasions without issue, our most recent experience was terrible. After a long weekend of boarding at this facility, our 2 year old yellow lab came home in a highly anxious and terrified state. He was a completely different dog, terrified of his own shadow for the next 2-3 days. After taking him for a full physical exam at another vet clinic, no physical problems or illness could be identified. After a period of a week, our lab came back to his normal state but it is without a doubt that some form of cruelty or abuse happened to him at this facility. Our experience with the Vetrinarians and Front desk staff had been just fine, however, the support staff used after hours for animal care is the problem. During our dogs stay on this occasion, the support staff fed all the boarding dogs cat food instead of dog food. We only became aware of this after we called to question our dog's abnormal behavior, they did not volunteer this information willingly. Their vetting process for hiring support staff and after hour care takers is not a thorough one and leads to less qualified individuals caring for your pet. I will no longer be taking my animals to this facility for care or boarding needs and I do not recommend them.
