They were there on time to do the inspection and were very professional. The day of installation there was a bit of a problem as part of an old flu fell and did a little sheetrock damage as well as damaging air supply line to a fireplace. They immediately secured the area and scheduled a time to come and make the repairs. They were prompt and from what we can see, the repairs looks great.
The most important part of this review is that they were very responsible and quick in getting the repairs done.
I would recommend them highly.

Castle Chimney was the best home-builders/repair type experience I have had in decades.
The perspective buyers of my 25 year old home had a chimney inspection which stated that the entire chimney needed to be torn down and rebuilt ($7200). {Of course the realtor who called them would get a kick-back.} The report stunned me so I researched chimney companies and phoned Castle Chimney (5 national certifications/endorsements). The owner was prompt every single time they came or I phoned him (I'm on the high end of 'involved' consumer types). He went every extra mile to not rip-me-off. Castle Chimney contacted the tech support at the manufacturer though the original chimney company had been bought out. My final bill was $1872 - so Castle Chimney saved me thousands of dollars. There was a final Closing inspection and the work done by Castle Chimney was reported to be complete and excellent.
I strongly recommend Castle Chimney for other house repair situations as I have since learned they do more than chimney work.

The provider came on the date scheduled. Pulled out wood insert, cleaned chimney. Also went on roof and inspected chimney. I've used this company numerous times.

Stuart always arrives on time or early . He diagnosed the pinhole problem right away, caulked the area and cleaned out the gutter that was contributing to the problem. His fee was more than reasonable. I have been fortunate to have Stuart take care of my chimney needs for 15 years and he always exceeds my expectations.

It's a small company. They were prompt, professional, explained options and were very good a communicating what the issues were and the best ways to resolve them.

We have used them for more than five years. They have great customer service, they are on time, and they confirmed appointments before they arrive. They are careful with your house and they never leave a mess. The staff is friendly, professional, and do a great job. They remind you when your chimney needs to get cleaned. They have great deal and I would recommend the annual inspection contract.

Stuart called ahead to let me know when he would be arriving. He arrived on time. He covered the path from the front door to the living room to protect it. He completely vacuumed out all the debris in the chimney then proceeded to do an inside and outside inspection. He found some areas of concern on the outside of the chimney and took some pictures to show me. He documented his concerns and told me he would follow up with me once he checked into some things. He assured me that everything was in working order and that the chimney was solid. Stuart is very professional, very knowledgeable, and very polite. He has done some repair work for me before and I would not hesitate to hire him again. His work is top notch.

The experience was a very positive one. The owner and all of his employees were courteous, polite, and knowledgable. They were honest and conscientious, and did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would, and how they said they would.

Great service, very functional, and they give a reminder call. I've used other sweeps before but I'm sticking with castle chimney from now on.

Prompt, polite, efficient, great work

The owner showed up as scheduled, set up a ladder, looked at the two chimneys and gave me a written estimate. I gave him a check for half and the job was scheduled by his office. Remember those 4 straight days of rain? The rain delayed the job a couple of days, but they called me daily to let me know. The entire process was right at 2 weeks.
The two-man crew showed up as promised on all 3 days. They worked efficiently and didn't make a mess of any sort, even though they were doing the reline with a 40-foot flexible stainless tube and multiple bags of concrete mix, etc.
The larger of the 2 jobs was relining a 97-year-old chimney for the boiler and then capping it. It had to be done because the old clay liner was broken. The job also involved repointing some brickwork. The smaller job was installing a top sealing chimney damper on the front chimney.
I have already recommended them to friends.

Great service. They called before appointment time to inform me of their expected arrival time which was earlier than the appointment time. They made sure that their cloth covered everything that may get dirty from the soot. Everything was picked up and clean when they were finished.

Wow, what a great business! I hired this company to fix my chimney. My house is nearly 75 years old and the chimney had seen better days. The owner came, inspected the chimney, showed me the damage that needed repairing and gave me a very detailed estimate on what was needed to bring the chimney into the 21st century. Based on my work schedule we set a target date for work to begin. His crew showed up on time, worked very quietly (I work at home so that was very important to me), were neat, polite and respectful of my home. The entire project took five days and at the end of each day, one of the guys on the crew told me what they had accomplished that day and told me what would be done the following day.They finished on time. The work they did required a city inspection, which they passed with flying colors. I asked the inspector about this particular company. He told me "they always do great work. If I needed this sort of work done, they'd be the ones I would call..."The cost was definitely not cheap, but I rated them an "A" anyway, because the quality of the work was definitely worth the price. One delighted customer!

We called Castle Chimney to repair a chimney cap and sweep the chimney. They came out the next day after we called them and they even called prior to arriving to let us know they were on the way. Stuart and David were courteous and professional. They made sure to sure to cover up the floors of the house so not to make a mess.
Stuart was very informative and taught us a lot about our chimney and gas logs. He didn't pressure us for any extra work. We would definitely call him again!
