I need to let everyone who will possibly see this......see it so they aren't in the same boat. September we had R.S Andrews come out and do our A/C maintenance. It's a service we pay monthly for. The technician came, did his thing and gave us some options of some things to possibly do in the future. He suggested we turn our fan to high, and it was set to low.....he was going to change the speed, but then said it was better to keep it low in the summer, and high speed in the winter, and we could get it done when we get our winter maintenance. Long story short, something happened to the card on file and our card was denied (not RS Andrews fault) card was hacked so we had to get a new one, and when the card was ran, the transaction didn't go through. My wife said she got the email stating so, and she tried to call to get the situation resolved. She never got ahold of anyone after 3 times calling. I called the next day, and got through.....and meant to ask about getting our winter maintenance, so I called back later Tuesday night (January 17th) when I called back, I asked about getting our winter maintenance check up, she said oh yeah, can you do tomorrow? I said sure, it's going to be after 5 though. So we scheduled for 5-9. Wednesday comes around and our technician comes. (now where everything comes up in wraps) When we are gone from the house, we turn the temp down to 68 so the system isn't running all day, when we aren't home. The technician comes in, and we talk some........he started doing his thing and ONLY turned the system to emergency heat mode. We talk some more, and he heads up to the attic. I was downstairs sitting on the couch, an I hear the blower fan turn on for about 2 seconds, and never seen him for about a half hr or an hr. I went upstairs and he said there was no power up to the unit. I was like, ok well since I'm not up the ladder, I'll go check the breaker. I went to garage, and sure enough the breaker was tripped. I reset it, and went back upstairs. So when I was up there he started saying my circuit board to run the fan was bad. He ran some tests with his voltage meter. All signs were good except for the circuit board. He wouldn't be able to get the part ordered until the following morning and he probably couldn't come back until maybe the weekend. So Thursday, the day after I called TWO of the managers. I told the one the story of the happening, he ended up having a service manager call me........this happened WEDNESDAY.................NEVER HAVE I GOT A CALL BACK FROM THEM. They claimed on the phone on Thursday when I called them that their guy wasn't a guy to sabotage people's units. Which I never said, I never made that claim. But they were going to charge us $555.00 for a circuit board that IS a $30.00 part. We WERE "elite" members and with our unit under warranty......and our 15% discount for being the elite members, we were going to have to pay $555.00. It's 48° out tonight, and as of 8:52 Friday January 20th.....I never heard back from RS Andrews. Watch your a** Update Saturday 1/21/2023......still no call
