I asked for an estimate to remove my old hotwater tank and install a new tank. RS Andrews wanted to charge me $2000.00 just for labor and the city permit. This doesn't include the price of the hotwater heater (tank). The tank is still under warranty. This is an outrageous price just for labor. This is definitely price gouging. Simply put....a ripoff!

I “have” a leak that I felt was a inside line leak, however after calling a RS Andrews Plumbing (who walked in looked at the water marks and immediately said “this is an external roof issue”, it’s not from inside, )then proceeded to the water meter, came back and said “ you have no leak” he did it so quickly, that I barely had a moment to explain that my tub is right above the leak when I realized the RS Andrew’s employee was heading for the door. I knew he hadn’t done a thorough job but since I’m no plumber. There had been little /mild rain, I call roofers they told me, it’s inside, call a plumber. I watched the leak now turn into a bigger leave even though there was no rain. I called my insurance company who arranged a Leak Detection Service. AND OF COURSE, RS Andrews Plumbing failed to properly investigate properly causing thousands in damage. No the Quest Piping was not leaking at all, it was the copper. Though I hired Worleys Home Service to replace ALL Quest pipes ASAP.

Technician came out to my home, gave an estimate and explain why my heating system was not functioning properly. After charging for the diagonistics the estimate for over 700.00 just to change out a burnt wire that only would have taken 15 minutes to change. I called another company, and they couldn't believe RS Andrews was charging that amount of money for a wire that only cost $.50 (cents) and 10 minutes to change. Such a rip off. I will never used this company ever again. I will also make sure my friends and family be fully aware of this.

Brian Coppock 34 reviews·11 photos 17 hours ago NEW Service: A/C system maintenance Critical: Value I don't leave reviews, but this needs to be done. I need to let everyone who will possibly see this......see it so they aren't in the same boat. September we had R.S Andrews come out and do our A/C maintenance. It's a service we pay monthly for. The technician came, did his thing and gave us some options of some things to possibly do in the future. He suggested we turn our fan to high, and it was set to low.....he was going to change the speed, but then said it was better to keep it low in the summer, and high speed in the winter, and we could get it done when we get our winter maintenance. Long story short, something happened to the card on file and our card was denied (not RS Andrews fault) card was hacked so we had to get a new one, and when the card was ran, the transaction didn't go through. My wife said she got the email stating so, and she tried to call to get the situation resolved. She never got ahold of anyone after 3 times calling. I called the next day, and got through.....and meant to ask about getting our winter maintenance, so I called back later Tuesday night (January 17th) when I called back, I asked about getting our winter maintenance check up, she said oh yeah, can you do tomorrow? I said sure, it's going to be after 5 though. So we scheduled for 5-9. Wednesday comes around and our technician comes. (now where everything comes up in wraps) When we are gone from the house, we turn the temp down to 68 so the system isn't running all day, when we aren't home. The technician comes in, and we talk some........he started doing his thing and ONLY turned the system to emergency heat mode. We talk some more, and he heads up to the attic. I was downstairs sitting on the couch, an I hear the blower fan turn on for about 2 seconds, and never seen him for about a half hr or an hr. I went upstairs and he said there was no power up to the unit. I was like, ok well since I'm not up the ladder, I'll go check the breaker. I went to garage, and sure enough the breaker was tripped. I reset it, and went back upstairs. So when I was up there he started saying my circuit board to run the fan was bad. He ran some tests with his voltage meter. All signs were good except for the circuit board. He wouldn't be able to get the part ordered until the following morning and he probably couldn't come back until maybe the weekend. So Thursday, the day after I called TWO of the managers. I told the one the story of the happening, he ended up having a service manager call me........this happened WEDNESDAY.................NEVER HAVE I GOT A CALL BACK FROM THEM. They claimed on the phone on Thursday when I called them that their guy wasn't a guy to sabotage people's units. Which I never said, I never made that claim. But they were going to charge us $555.00 for a circuit board that IS a $30.00 part. We WERE "elite" members and with our unit under warranty......and our 15% discount for being the elite members, we were going to have to pay $555.00. It's 48° out tonight, and as of 8:52 Friday January 20th.....I never heard back from RS Andrews. Watch your a** Update Saturday 1/21/2023......still no call

We’ve had so many problems with this company, it’s hard to choose where to begin. During installation of our new HVAC system, it was discovered that the furnace was not turning on. The tech tried to tell me this was normal due to the heat outside (thermostat was set higher than the house temp). It turns out it was missing a component! It took several months and multiple phone calls to get them to come back and fix it. After that, it failed the city inspection twice before they finally corrected the duct work and installation discrepancies. We requested a final invoice. Rather than providing one, they turned our account over to a collection agency. Avoid this company at all cost.

10/25 Good price for check up $59.00 per unit. However, check of 13 year old unit. price of $1512.00 to replace the combustion assy. I believe this to be too expensive. Then, RS Andrews quoted me a price of $5752.00 for a new unit. I believe this to be too expensive.

System inspection/review went ok. Installation of new filtration went ok though very pricey. Would have been nicer without having to deal with attempts to sell me an entirely new system. HOWEVER, the real problem was yesterday, a week after inspection, when I called early to tell them the air conditioner wasn’t working at all and the temp inside was already about 85 degrees, by very early hours. I have done business with RS Andrews for many years, and have gone elsewhere a couple of different occasions after a few things occurred I didn’t care for. But after signing a new contract, would have thought it would have made a difference with scheduling. I was told I would have to wait until somewhere between 4 pm and 8 pm the next day. 32 to 40 hrs later? Fail to see advantage of contract. Will no longer do business in any fashion with them.

In August of 2016 my HVAC system died and RS Andrews came in and replaced it with a system they recommended. For the first month and a half I dealt with humidity issues because the blower was wired wrong. I was told constantly that the system was fine and my house was defective. Then during the first snow storm after Christmas 2016 I had inadequate heat because they never hooked up my auxiliary heat. Then in January 2018 I had RS Andrews in because my system was throwing a code. The tech spent 13 hrs in my house, broke my thermostat and left me with no heat for a week during a snow storm and 20 degree weather. Then it took another week for all the parts to come in to fix the auxiliary heat and get it running. Then two days after that was fixed my system threw another code and the blower motor in the air handler was determined to be not running properly. I am now once again waiting on parts to come in and be installed. I have not had to pay for any of the repairs because the system is only 18 months old but this process has taken over my life and I am constantly missing work to deal with it. I would like the system taken out of my house and my money refunded. RS Andrews seems to be unable to service and maintain this system. Their Techs and customer service people have labelled us as problem customers and send out inexperienced new techs in the hopes that we will be less angry when they don't resolve the issue. It seems like they are no longer treating our issues with this system with any professionalism and proper customer service. This doesn't include all techs.

Over the years I'd guess we've spend upwards of $50K with these guys. The last job was to install two new heating and AC units, air handler and redo ducting in our attic. The system is less than a year old and we recently discovered mold and mildew coming out our upstairs vents. They came out, looked at it, and decided it wasn't their problem. It went all the way up to the Gen. Mgr. and essentially they cut me loose

Everything worked great until a home inspector told us this summer that the ventilation system needed repair. Our house was under contract for sale, and it appeared that multiple ducts were in bad shape. 5 runs were split open, causing sweating and moisture buildup in the crawl space. A few had insulation worn so thin, it was practically nonexistent. We called RS Andrews to look at the duct work, assuming that the VENTILATION had been part of a HVAC replacement. I spoke with the operations manager, Bill, about my concerns. The only thing he could tell me was that if we needed duct work in November 2015, they would have recommended it, and we would have paid for the work in addition to the unit. He also told me that this damage was probably done since the unit was installed. Yeah, right. The ventilation system was never checked. I have the quality report showing that the technicians never even looked at it. With a brand new baby and as first-time homeowners, we were too exhausted and uneducated to know any better. To top it all off, I called back the next day to talk to Bill about what could be done. He was out of the office, so I left a voicemail and asked him to call me back. He never did, so that shows me the level of care this company shows after it has your money. I recommend that you stay away from RS Andrews due to the lack of comprehensive quality and unresponsiveness when a problem arises.

Some of the stuff they didn't do quite right, but it was small stuff. They came back to fix it. They were pretty responsive. I forgive and forget. Now, if they mess up again I won't use them again. There were 2 or 3 guys and they did it in one day. They pulled out my termite traps and didn't put them back. They didn't come back to fix that, I put it back in the hole.

I had a bad experience with the technician that they sent out, but they were very responsive to the issue that I had, but I'm a little apprehensive about using them again so I haven't decided. They did everything, they were responsive to my concerns when I talked to them on the phone, but it just made me uncomfortable that there was someone who came into my home and acted that way. So I'm not sure if I'm going to use them again or not, and I've used them for years.

They were little less than some other service provider. They over promised and under delivered in terms of the upper billing of the system that I have used another year, but I did not. They have a technician it is possible that he is not prepared to do a quote. I think they should especially have a different person other than a technician to do quote.  They are very professional. I would use them in the future for another quote.

Overall, they do a pretty good job, but I just feel they could probably do a little better. They have always been friendly and they are here on time. There are no problems dealing with them at all. Everything is fine. Everything is very satisfactory. I had work done by them in the past that I was not satisfied with, but on overall time to time basis dealing with them, they have done okay. I have been dealing with them for 12 to 15 years.
