Joseph arrived on time and quickly went to work. Within a few minutes he had found the problem and was well on his way to having it fixed. Joseph was professional and very nice. He took the time to show me what was wrong and how he was going to repair it. The appointment went very well and I would use Joseph again in a heartbeat.

He did an excellent job. I was scared I would have to replace my washer. He soon discovered it was only clogged. He tore it down and found the clog. He gave me a 90 day warranty and he also showed me how to unclog should it happen again in the future. He also told me several ways to keep it running smoothly. I would recommend Joseph for any large or small appliance repairs.

Joseph was very courteous, prompt, and professional. After being told by the and quot;big guysand quot; that it would take several days to be able to come check our refrigerator that had stopped cooling overnight, I called Joseph's Repair. Joseph told me that he was on a job but would be at my house in a couple of hours. He asked a few questions and determined that the problem was probably the evaporator fan. He showed up as promised and performed a couple of tests on the fan. After confirming the problem, he left to get the fan from his warehouse and returned quickly to install it. The repair was fast and corrected the problem. Joseph even encouraged my 11-year- old to watch him work and explained each part of the repair.

The repair went well. He diagnosed the problem, found the solution, and executed the repair. The encounter was a quick repair, performed by a pleasant professional. I will definitely use Joseph again. The service was performed as part of a moving damage claim, for a military family, who's washer was damaged by a moving company.

Old machine that came with the house Roper/Whirlpool - might be 15 years old - it was always a bit noisy but finally was shaking the floor boards - upstairs!. Joseph took the whole thing apart was very thorough in making sure such an old machine had no other issues - replaced the motor coupler that had obviously deteriorated and was hanging by a thread - did some additional preventive maintenance and the old machine is running like a champ and quieter than it's ever been. What I liked is that Joseph openly talked to me about his diagnosis, his confidence level in the diagnosis, if he was 100% sure we had the problem - (he wasn't and that's honest - and you can't put a price on that!) options as far as buying new and what my plans were with a future kitchen remodel three years down the road. In the end we decided to replace the deteriorated coupler - do the preventative maintenance - and put her back together. He even lifted the machine while I swept the floor underneath it....ten plus years of grime. In business for himself, doing the work himself - I wish him well and if I have any issues with the dryer or washer will call him again.

He came out immediately. It needed a thermostat and a thermal coupler. He did an excellent job. He had to do two return visits and didn't charge more. He even came on the July 4th holiday. He even showed me how he tested the parts with his own meter. He was very thorough.

Everything was great. He was very responsive, did a good job with the repairs, and was very trustworthy.

Joseph was great. Friendly, reasonable and happy to answer all of my questions.

I called on Saturday morning about 9:30. He asked some diagnostic questions over the phone, and quoted $140 for labor plus whatever the cost for parts. He stated he would be at my residence at 1:20. When he did not show by 2:30 I called and he was no longer answering his phone.

Happy with the overall experience, technician was very experienced and knowledgeable and was in and out fast.

Using Angies List, we found Mr. Joseph Godbolt of Joseph's Appliance Repair, called him, and explained our washing machine would not drain the water and enter the spin cycle. Mr. Joseph Godbolt immediately diagnosed the source of the problem, and provided the estimated price for repair. We agreed with the very fair pricing, and he arrived within an hour of our initial phone call as promised. He was professional, very knowledgeable, and explained each step of the repair process as he worked. He promptly repaired the washing machine, which now works perfectly after the repair. The repair price was exactly as he had estimated, and was a very fair price. Mr. Joseph Godbolt of Joseph's Appliance Repair is an excellent repair technician, and impressed us with his integrity and honest business principles. We highly recommend him.

Great service! I would HIGHLY recommend Joseph's to anyone. Professional, punctual and courteous. I called on a Saturday morning, and Joseph was able to accommodate a same day appointment to look at my broken washing machine. He showed up on time and walked me through the entire trouble-shooting process, which was very informative. Joseph was able to determine the problem and actually recommended that I not get the repair done because it would not be worth the expense. I elected to purchase a new washer instead of fix the old one. Though not the reason I called Joseph, I also had him look at my broken oven/range. Again, Joseph explained the entire trouble-shooting process as he diagnosed the problem. He determined a part that needed to be replaced. While I am not going to have the part replaced at this time because of the cost of the part, I would definitely call Joseph to install the part when the time comes.

Overall my experience with Joseph was awesome and I would highly endorse him to anyone who has any large appliance issues.

I had used Joseph's service previously to repair my dishwasher and was very impressed with the quality of his service. This time it was my rather old dryer which was blowing but not heating to dry clothes. Called Joseph Sat morning and he was able to come that afternoon. He explained his prices and we discussed the cost effectiveness of repairing such an old dryer versus replacement. I decided to at least pay for a diagnosis to make a decision. Joseph was able to trace the problem to a bad thermal limit switch, a $40 part, and not the heating element itself. While the dryer was apart he tested the rest of the thermal switches, checked for correct wall voltage, cleaned the dryer blower outtake to see if there was any obstruction that might have caused the thermal switch to overheat. He also shortened and reattached my vent ducting to prevent any kinks which could contribute to overheating. He welcomed me to observe and explained each step of the process. He final tested the repair with a thermometer to verify that the dryer was heat cycling correctly. Throughout the visit he was courteous, professional, and demonstrated a high level of experience in his trades. He obviously takes pride in his work I feel like I won the lottery when I found Joeseph's Appliance Repair. I have never met a more honest, humble and knowledgable service person. Too bad he can't be cloned to all the other home and auto repair services out there. I highly reccommend Joseph's over any of the Name Brand Service operators available. I won't call anyone else for my appliance repairs

This guy was fantastic. Showed up on time, thoroughly explained everything - the cause of the problem, how he diagnostically determined the cause and the solution. It was a controller issue. Though he had parts in his vehicle, he had to go get the part because it was such an old appliance. He was super quick in returning (and actually told me how long it would take to drive there, be in the store and drive back! - and he was exactly right)! He showed me the new controller, installed the new controller and showed me the old one. He was so amazingly thorough. He's surely a rare find!

Our refrigorator stopped working. Mr. Godbolt came out to diagnose the problem. He spent a good amout of time thoroughly checking for the problem and showed me what he was doing. He replaced a part to what he thought was wrong, but informed us it could be something major and said that if that was the case we would be better off replaceing the fridge. He said if it stopped again though, call him and he'd come out no charge. Well, it stopped again. He came out and replaced the same part he replaced before hoping it was just a faulty part. 10 months later the fridge(12 years old) is still working. We appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

I called Joseph and we scheduled an appointment time, to which he showed up exactly on time. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly and we verified the fix with a wash load. I would not hesitate to call Joseph again for a large appliance service call.

Accommodating, punctual and honest service. He took his time to figure out what was wrong and did not try to fix a problem that would have been prohibitively expensive in terms of the price of the parts and the associated labor costs. His honesty was greatly appreciated.

I got Joseph's name from Angie's list. My wife called him and he was able to come out the next day. He showed up on time and was very professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem, gave my wife an estimate for the repair and made the repair in approximately 1 and 1/2 hours. He explained to my wife what he was doing throughout the repair. He also said that if what he did did not fix the refrigerator he would come back without any labor charge. Th refrigerator is working fine. We are very pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness that Joseph displayed and will certainly use him in the future. We have recommended him to friends also.

We had a power outage and, afterwards, the icemaker quit working. I checked everything I knew how with negative results then resigned myself to call Sears Service since it was still under warranty. They said they could schedule me the following week and I would have to pay for the service call, plus parts (warranty???). Declined their service and went to Angies's List where I found Joseph's Appliance Repair. I read the reviews and was a little skeptical that a person like this existed. I gave him a call. He showed up THAT DAY, actually within 30 minutes. I was stunned. Joseph Godbolt is unbelievable. After explaining my problem, he gave me a step by step on what he was about to do, gave me an estimate, then asked to wash his hands before starting. As I picked my jaw up off the floor, he went to work. I was going to leave him to do his job when he asked me to stay so he could show me what he was doing. He started at the wall and checked the waterline, solenoid (He asked me to hold the multimeter as he checked the electrical components and explained the readouts), and the icemaker. And that is where the problem was. He tried to fix it but found it had to be replaced. He gave me an estimate of the cost, put everything back and said he would return the next day. About two hours later, I get a call from Joseph. He apologized for his estimate of the cost of the new icemaker, gave me the price ($40 more) and asked if I still wanted him to fix it. Of course, I agreed since he was still below Sear's estimate for their and quot;warranty?and quot; repair. He came the next day, on time, (again washed his hands) installed the new icemaker, and tested it. As he wrote out the bill, he reduced his labor costs because he had given me an inaccurate estimate the first time. I said that I would pay the difference but he insisted. He also gave me the phone number of the parts place, so I could call them to see that he hadn't overcharged me. With a big smile and handshake he was out the door and I'm left standing there with a big grin and a heart full of respect for him. His business card was given a place of honor on my refridgerator. The next morning, I notice droplets of ice spattered over the food in the freezer and that it seemed to be making ice slowly. I give Joseph a call. Luckily, he was nearby and he's ringing my doorbell in 10 MINUTES... After a quick check, he readjust the fill rate, then apologized that he forgot to explain the new icemaker can take up to 72 hours to get up to speed. Then he noticed that my dishwasher was original from when the house was built. I had been thinking about replacing it and took the opportunity to pick his brain. He was a fountain of knowledge, giving me info on different manufacturers and models. I'm now welled armed when I finally decide to make the purchase. Again, he left me with the feeling that this was the most honorable and honest repairman that you can find. So, if you have a large appliance that is giving you problems, give Joseph a call and he will make it right. P.S.: My cats even like him :)

Our dryer stopped working over the long holiday weekend. A call to Joseph's and he was quick to walk though the problem with my husband over the phone. He was nearly positive it was the main circuit to the Whirpool front-loading dryer, so he picked one up and came over later the same day. Upon replacing the main panel, the problem still occured. Over the next 20 minutes he tore apart the dryer and located the problem - a bad heating element and thermal indicator. He put the original circuit board back in and called to order the new parts needed and returned the next day to replace them. He did a thorough cleaning on the dryer and left the laundry room spotless.
