Jenkins Restorations

Job was started in late August, 2016 & not completed until about late January, 2017. Mold removal went fine, but drying/repair took far too long & wasn't well coordinated/followed up expeditiously. Jenkins didn't seem to keep up with progress of their sub-contractor who did a rushed & terrible finishing job & after homeowner refused to sign insurance check, Jenkins called in another sub-contractor to re-do some of the first sub-contractor's work, part of which we had to pay extra to get done even though it was included in the original contract. Entire experience was frustrating, took entirely too long, ill-coordinated, and not done in a careful, methodical or customer oriented manner. Phone calls were seldom returned & we had to follow up on everything. Poor oversight by Jenkins which we would not use again, even though they are a prime contractor for our insurance company.

Jenkins was amazing from start to finish. I was pleased with team’s integrity and professionalism during the restoration process. My home was treated with the utmost care and respect. Definitely made a stressful situation much easier. Very happy with how everything turned out.

They sent in subcontractors, their workmanship was sub par. It was sloppy work.

It was an excellent experience. They did a great job. I was tickled pink with them. They are very good. They have very good workmanship. I can recommend them highly and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I would use them in the future.

Jenkins restoration was sent to my home by my insurance company for clean up and repair from a broken water pipe. No mitigation team was ever sent causing more damage to my property. I was told this would be a 3 day job at the most, it is now May and work is not complete. Simple repair of drywall and painting was a disaster, still not complete. Hardwood floor are a complete mess. The sub had no idea how to refinish floors. The floor was spot sanded, never cleaned, contamination in the polyurethane and a satin finish applied instead of semi-gloss. The floor is dull and only parts refinished. No protection given to my furniture, walls or undamaged flooring. Damages now on walls, floors and furniture due to lack of protection. I now have a bigger mess than when they started. I do not recommend Jenkins services.

Jenkins has agreed to send in a professional flooring company to clean up the mess created by their subcontractors.

Very nice and professional.always laid down floor protectors even when they were ripping up the old floor. They even did all of this with 5 kids running around. Could not ask for better service. They were always on time and very quite when my kids were taking their naps . now moms your gunna love that!

April 9, 2013 they showed up and began initial repair of garage . Part of work was finished within 3 days. After they had bit called or shown up for two weeks, I called to find out when they planned on resuming their work . They showed back up about a week later and did some more work . Once again weeks went by and I called my insurance company to complain. They called them and within 3 days I finally for my new garage door on which had been boarded up due to the car running into it .
A few weeks later they show up again to work on my privacy gate, after me calling them to inquire when they would be back. It was now into July. They halfway repaired the gate and now one side sits higher than the other . The gate had a electric gate opener on it which was broken on impact and they would have someone else install that . Now it goes into August, and I keep asking about when they plan on having the people to fix the well pump that was damaged and since I'm having to use city water to water my lawn. It ended up I found a company they could use to do the repair. Finally that was fixed.
Last thing was to put a new gate opener on the gate and I was told for months that they couldn't find one yet and I could look for one too.
September comes and I have had it with this company. They told the insurance company they were still looking for one and insurance company said no more. For them to give them their bill. I requested over and over to the project manager that u needed them to pick up the trash and debri from the job and it is still here and it is October. I would never ever recommend this company. This was a small 4,000 job and should have only taken a couple if weeks and not 6 months

Jenkins called and sent professional help over immediately after finding out how upset I was.
They took time to listen and see the problems and started to put a plan together
To resolve everything. I was very impressed with the corrective and resolved work, plus the phone contact every step
Of the way. Everything finished in under a week and it looks
Awesome . We got off to a rocky start but ended on a very
High note. Would not hesitate to use them again.

We were extremely satisfied with JR Restorations' performance in repairing our home following some water damage to the room over our garage. The moisture-damage mitigation team contacted us immediately after being notified by our insurance company and were at the house within hours. They quickly set up their equipment such as their massive commercial, dehumidifiers and fans and coordinated with our neighbor to pick it up a few days later, allowing us to go on our pre-planned vacation. Sean Cantrell was the estimator and the project manager on the job. Sean accompanied the damage mitigation team, accessed the damage and coordinated with the subcontractor’s repair team to do the necessary work at our convenience. Sean was very proactive, making sure that the work was done to our liking and keeping us informed every step of the way.

The subcontractor was also a class act and very professional. The owner, Jacob Wood, made sure he knew want we wanted done and we are very pleased with the outcome. We would highly recommend both companies to anyone that needs work of this nature accomplished. We intend to have Mr. Wood’s company, Cavalier Builders LLC, return to accomplish several other home improvement projects and have also recommended him to several of our friends.

Not a good experience. My insurance co.paid Jenkins to incude replacement of fence which was never done to date. I was playing phone tag with Jenkins Co.This company does not inform you in detail that before any work is done you must agree to sign a waiver that they will recieve Insurance payment directly. So they have received payment from my insurance co. My fence has not been replaced still waiting....

Service Master ripped up the floor on the 18 of January and from there USAA recommended Jenkins to do the rest of the repairs for the water damage in the bathroom. There was a guy that came out Friday to do an estimate and look at the work to see what needed to be done but this guy was the program manager not the guy who was going to fix it. The 21st (following Monday) was Martin Luther King day and they were closed which is understandable and then they came Tuesday. They had to send another guy out to look at it and he was the one who was going to actually do the work. So that was a day that was wasted that the work could have been started. So now its Wednesday and they start the work in my bathroom. It really looked like a bum from off the street came into my house and nailed down 4 pieces of board and then called it a day. On top of this they were not even going to replace the whole floor, leaving a one foot wide strip of the old floor when I was originally told it would be all one piece. That did not fly with me at all so Thursday they came back and all they did was rip up the small section of the old floor that was still good and matched it in with the rest of the new board, but they cut it into like 3 sections instead of one long piece. After that they set the vanity and wanted to do the vinyl flooring around the vanity instead of setting the vinyl first and then putting the vanity and toilet down. The way the vanity is, you can see underneath back to the wall, and the floor underneath would have been exposed and visible with out vinyl covering it. After I called the program manager and complained at him for the whole process and doing everything backwards and extremely unprofessional he came out here Friday morning to make sure everything was getting done the right way. Everything looks good now but it still is not the kind of work a big corporation like Jenkins should perform. I should not have had this much trouble with them to begin with, especially when an insurance company like USAA refers them to do a job. Also, everyday when they were done working they did not clean up their mess and left they bathroom looking like crap. Even today when the bathroom is suppose to be done I went in there and there was debris all over the place like they did not sweep or clean the sink basin to make everything look nice and professional. I WILL NOT EVER use this company or recommend this company to anyone if they want a great job done. The work they did was not professional and the customer service was not the best either.

After giving us an estimate in December 2009, Jenkins did not return our calls to schedule the repairs. Therefore, we scheduled the most urgently needed exterior repairs with another company, and tried to get Jenkins Restoration to perform the remainder of the interior repairs. Since December 2009, when we speak to someone from the company or a representative from Jenkins comes to the house to review the work needed, they state that they will make the repairs. However, they do not follow up with us to schedule the work, and they do not return our phone calls. This behavior is inexplicable to us. We are gong to submit a written complaint to USAA Insurance concerning Jenkins Restoration.The absolute minimum customer service standards require that a company explain to the customer if circumstances change and they no longer intend to honor an estimate for repairs and/or no longer intend to perform the repairs.

We would recommend Jenkin's Restoration to anyone . The house is now much nicer than it was prior to the fire. It is now a brand new house. Jenkin's Restorations gives the contracting business a good name. If you have a fire please don't hesitate to call Jenkins' Restoration.

Jenkins Restorations Inc did an awesome job. The workers did not have any problem to come back and fix some things.
