Exactly the right place to fill your flooring needs! Family is the right word to describe it. We bought some high-end vinyl flooring to re-floor out kitchen. Following installation, it was apparent that there was trouble with the seam. The two sides did not fit together to make a smooth transition from one side to the other. The installer from Family came back several times and was unable to get it right; not his fault. He agreed there was a problem and it had to be the vinyl itself. Jeff at Family Flooring agreed and asked for photos to send to the manufacturer to support a claim to them for replacement. The manufacturer was reluctant and did not initially support the idea of replacement. Jeff told us that we would be getting the new flooring whether or not the manufacturer owned up to their responsibility. While ultimately the manufacturer did come through, the fact that Jeff took it upon himself to do the right thing by us is an outstanding example of the character and integrity of Family Flooring. From the initial meeting through the excellent installation to Jeff’s owning the problem from the outset, Family Flooring came through just like their advertisements say. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They truly operate like a family….YOUR family. I wish them the best of everything and every success.

A bit pricey. Picked them based on good friend's recommendation.
Hardwood floor and installation was amazing!!
Carpet not so much. Quality of carpet was very good, but install not as good. Had to have them return because the seems were very visible. Repaired and a little better, but still nothing to brag about. Was told it was because of the carpet and it would eventually work itself out. Going on 5 months and still not pleased. Guess after the quality of the hardwood was expecting the same w/ carpet.
If you want hardwood GO HERE!!

I have been using them before and never had a problem. Sales person arrived in time and measured the area. we signed the contract and left deposit. We had a very tight schedule due to other contractors working there in the same time (closet installers, plumbers, painters, etc) So everything had to be done in time. Flooring arrived as planned and was a very good quality. Installers showed up in time. They were very friendly, professional, and had all the work done even earlier than we anticipated. Cleaned up thoroughly. I recommended them to my friend for carpet installation and she couldn't be happier. I will definitely use them again when it's time to do renovation downstairs. Thank you guys!

Family Flooring came thru much less than the "big box stores" And the "family" part of their name came through. This WAS NOT a "discount" job at all. Higher quality products, installation, exceptional "care for the customer", and total flexibility in our schedule and our needs. I cannot reccomend this company any higher. They turned this old, 15 year old house, into a show-piece for resale, in time, dead on budget (in fact, credited several items they didn't need from their estimate), and with total professionalism.

The Family Flooring installer and his assistant were 2 hours late and their work was substandard at best. Installer actually left my house for about 45 minutes to get a part for his car(?!). Within 30 days of installation, three of the carpet seams and one seal between the tub and the vinyl began to come apart. After a week of my calling and leaving messages (with no returned calls), I spoke to my salesperson (Jeff) about the problems. He said I needed to talk to my installer. After 2 weeks of phone tag with the installer, he came and repaired the problems. In June, one of the seams began to come apart AGAIN. I called Family Flooring again and Tony told me my installer no longer worked for their company and he has to "try to find someone else to come out and fix" my carpet. He said I should give him "at least a week" to find someone else. *P.S. My final cost was lower than the original estimate because I decided not to let Family Flooring install the vinyl in my kitchen.

The floors look great. They came on time and finished on time. I was a little disappointed that Family Flooring never called to see how everything was going. The subcontractors were competent but took little care to control the dirt and noise they were creating. They didn't bother to fill nail holes and my TV cable wire is stuck.

Family Flooring used sub contractor S. Schmidt Flooring to perform the installation. They arrived on time and finished the work earlier than scheduled. The quality of their work was excellent. Installation of hardwood floors is a very dusty job. I felt they could have discussed ways to limit the dirt before they started, thereby making it less annoying experience. I didn't expect to have to spend three days cleaning afterwards. Family Flooring underestimated the number of boxes needed. They provided the material at no extra cost. I expected them to stay in touch during installation, they never called to see how it was going.

Family Flooring broke my light when they were here, and I was very dissatisfied with their services. They didn't stretch the carpet right and I felt the job was crappy all together. I would not recommend them to anyone.
