Fantastic! Joe and his crew worked tirelessly and professionally to replace two large decks on our house. The finished product looks great and was done ahead of schedule. Joe is a great communicator and comes out to make sure the site is setup right, his materials are organized correctly and that everything runs smoothly. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough good things about Joseph Noonan. The quality of his work is outstanding, he is 100% reliable, and he's also just an incredibly nice person. He did a number of projects for me over a few week period, and I really appreciated his dedication, skill, and communication. He stays very busy, so it took some time to get my job scheduled, but he let me know exactly what to expect from our first phone call - when he would be able to do the estimate, and when he would be able to do the work. It was completely worth the wait. Joseph takes a great deal of pride in his work and it shows. Highly recommend!

Joe Noonan did an absolutely marvelous job on our deck! It looks better now than it did when we first built it in 2005. Joe is a perfectionist, who takes pride in his work. I highly recommend him and will undoubtedly will be hiring him again in the future.

Joe always does a great job. He did a larger project for me last summer. The design was perfect for our space. It fits in with the area the way I would want it to. Joe has an eye for detail which is greatly appreciated.

It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Noonan on our project. He was always punctual on work days, and he always cleaned up after himself. He never left work debris behind. Mr. Noonan power washed our home first before staining our deck, and it looked much cleaner than when we have tried to power wash ourselves. Our deck needed minor repair work before staining, and Mr. Noonan fixed it right! After staining the deck, he went back over touch up areas I spotted without concern. He even said he would return another day, if I'd like him, to do further touch up should I see anything needing it. Mr. Noonan cares about his work, and he takes the necessary time to complete it. We would hire him again in the future.

Joe was a true professional. He explained the job with recommendations. He lived up to everything he said and we were very happy.

Repair works well.

Joe and his crew did a great job. They were careful not to damage any of the shrubs and did a great job in removing dirt and mildew. He also looked over vents on the roof and found that some of the boots on the vent pipes were getting ready to fail. He is very proactive. We would certainly use his services in the future.

Joe had a nice creative idea for replacing the column bases with stacked PVC boards, so they wouldn't rot in the future. He also recommended using a Sonicrafter to cut off the bases, a tool that I hadn't heard of before. He's a friendly guy, very enthusiastic and smart about doing house repairs.

They were great. It was a great price. Their responsiveness was topnotch. It was just a man and his son, and they were both great. They were very professional. I have already used them twice. They deliver what they promise, they are on time, and they clean up.

Outstanding. I am the retired faculty/staff director of the Univ of VA's design and construction putting in place north of $1.5 Billion of capital improvements 2000-2014 so I am familiar with quality work. This work was exceptional - I was going to insist that all surfaces of all wood members be primed before install - before I could insist Chris advised me that he primes all surfaces before fabrication and moreover he caulks all exposed joints. He did just that and his joints were all very precise and tight. I say Chris because Joe Noonan had a full schedule so he connected me with Chris Fincannon who works frequently for Joe as a subcontractor.

From the first encounter, I realized that Joseph was going to different.  Personable, concerned, articulate, thorough and organized come to mind.  Before starting the job, he came by to review his notes and plan for the week ahead.  I had a friend over who overheard my conversation with Joseph and he commented later that the line of discussion and detail was unlike he had ever heard from a contractor.  
Joseph's work is excellent.  While I didn't need to, I know that had there been anything to attend to or re-work, he would have done it eagerly.  
Some people are wired to do enough to "get by".  Joe Noonan isn't one of those people.  

Delighted with his work and he has worked himself into additional work with me going forward.

The main reason beyond quality and trustworthiness is that I would give a high recommendation/rating for Joseph Noonan and his team is that he takes your job very seriously and personally for best outcomes.  He is very solicitous of your satisfaction and makes serious offers to redo or right anything if not satisfactory.  The quality of work is excellent and you get the clear sense he's your friend, not just your contractor. Incredibly busy way out for months but well worth the wait.

Our home was was built in 1955 by a well known local architect and Mr. Noonon replaced a solid hardwood sill with rot. He also found that the flashing had failed and replaced it and waterproofed the area. The work he did matches the other 4 sills exactly. He also repaired the roof on a gazebo, others had said was irreparable. We would recommend him highly and will definintely engage his services again.

Although I did not select Noonan's to do my work, I thought this company was fantastic. Joe was punctual and completely honest when recommending my options for the work I wanted to do on my house. He gave me a thorough estimate in a timely fashion. Previously, when I had called him for some work, his schedule was too busy, but his wife had made other recommendations and was wonderfully helpful in getting me a contractor to my house quickly to fix some loose roofing shingles. I definitely plan on using this company in the future!
