They are VERY good about explaining what is happening, what you should have fixed, when and why.

My 1995 jeep had a fast idle when in drive, but in a stopped position. Meaning when at a stop sign or stop light. In addition when I went from the stopped position and accelerated, there was alot of hesitation. It was like the jeep was not getting enough "air". It was at a point where many times I thought it was going to cut off, stop running. Meinekee gave me about three things that could be causing the problems. Unfortunately, it was hard to determine what the soulition would be. He let me know it may take several hours to determine the cause. Due to the age of the jeep he was unsure how much money I wanted to spend to determine what the issue was and then the cost of the repair. I really appreciated the honesty of the technician. He did not try to persuade me to do the repair. He wanted me to think about what I wanted to do, and bring the jeep back. In addition, they did not charge me for the analysis. I have had other work done to my vehicles at Meinekee. I find them to be honest and reasonablly priced. I have never been turned away when I stopped by without an appointment.

My car was inspected, I was informed of the service required, i was provided the estimated price.
Time to do the work was also provided,
It was the end of the day and I was leaving on a trip the next day.
They completed the work while I waited and ensured everything was
completed to my satisfaction. Brakes are as good as new.

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars but my vehicle had been making a loud noise. It got so annoying that I finally took it to Meineke to have it looked at. They were really busy so I told them what I was there for and I decided to leave it. They called me within an hour and told me the problem, how much to fix, and when they would have it ready. I went back later on and everything was right on. My car has been running great with no annoying noise!

They are always available, have friendly staff and are punctual. They will get things done if you ask them. They dress professionally and interact with me professionally so I have no problem with it.

Mechanics informed me that vehicle would not pass state inspection due to a passenger seat that wouldn't lock into place and a headlight that was cracked.
They informed me that they didn't have the parts but suggested where I might get them, and told me they'd be delighted to repair the vehicle once I had the parts.
They charged me for the failed inspection, and repaired and charged me for a fuse.
Based on their diagnosis, I spent over $200 on a new headlight and a replacement passenger seat.
A family member took a look at my vehicle, cleaned the seat locking apparatus and headlight.
I took my vehicle to another state inspector who passed the vehicle for state inspection.
I contacted Meineke's customer care center in southeastern Pennsylvania. They declined to assist me in recovering the money I spent on parts I didn't need (the seat could not be refunded or exchanged). Their customer rep told me that they would have done a more thorough inspection, but I would have been charged for it. I informed her that the shop never offered this service to me. Besides, shouldn't they have done an accurate inspection anyway?
Thanks to Meineke, I now own a spare passenger seat for my car that I don't need. I paid for two state inspections instead of one. I've lost over a hundred dollars at least.
I've spent hundreds of dollars with them, but I certainly will never do business with the Meineke shop on Emmet Street ever again, and I doubt I will ever turn to another Meineke shop ever.
