Moxie Pest Control

Moxie pest control is professional, punctual and generally easy to work with.  I had hired another pest control company in the past, and Moxie is no doubt one of the more professional and customer focused pest control companies.

They come on a regular schedule and any extra time indeed them!

The sales person that came to our door assured us that Moxie would treat for termites and pest. We needed both so we signed a contract for a year with them. It turned out Moxie does NOT treat for termites and now I need to find an other company for that. I should have known better and not trust the salesman. I should have done my homework before signing a contract with them.
Moxie sent somebody to treat our house, everything went well. He sprayed inside and outside our house, replaced some mice trap. He offered to come back before the next treatment in case I see bugs or mice need to be removed. 
Since I was also expecting a treatment for termites, it feels like only half of the job was done. It seems that most of what they did is what I normally do: spray around doors and windows and insect killer in the garden. 
I would not use this company in the future because it only responded to half of my need because of a misinformation or disinformation.

I have been customer for past 3 years. I have seen big drop in pest activity since they have been providing services. They have always been responsive as well as professional.

Very professional and competively price.

They've always been responsive when we have particular pest problems, and have been attentive of our house's specific concerns (we have vegetable gardens near the house, so no spraying there).

Pretty good, although I frequently have to call them back to do a follow up service. The good news is they do the follow up services for free as long as they treat the property once a season. Only problem is they don't do as good a job when I'm not home as they do when I'm around to point them at problem areas. Since they send a different tech out each time, they don't remember the problem areas from service to service.

I purchased the Angie's List Rodent Abatement "deal". I would recommend that you save the $175, purchase some sticky traps and outdoor traps and save some money.  The service was professional, just did not see the $175 value.

EXCELLENT SERVICE.  Ellie Sevilla has been our Moxie rep for the last year, and he does fantastic work.  Always helpful, courteous, and professional.   Moxie in general is a great company to work with, and they are always willing and able to come back if there are any retreatments necessary.

They come out whenever we need them; we have an annual contract with them.  I still see silverfish occasionally and we can call them when we see a bug.

We moved into a new house this summer and found out that mice have been living in and around for a long time. Moxie came and did an initial inspection and treatment and advised us on other ways to prevent these critters from living here. They come out every three months to inspect and spray for whatever seems to be around--we haven't seen a mouse or evidence of mice since.  They are knowledgeable, professional and always wear shoe covers.  Terrific!

I would not recommend having the pest control service through Moxie.

They come out every quarter for quarterly service.  If I see spiders or any bugs or insects, then they come out even if it is not a quarterly visit as a part of the service.  They typically call the night before to make sure I am at home or if I have a particular questions or issues that they want me to address.  If there is nothing to do inside the house, then I don't have to be at home.  It's been very well done and convenient for me.  The office staff calls when there is an issue between the checkups.  They are very courteous and willing to get somebody scheduled to get out to address the issue.  They are great when I am not going to be at home.  They just do what they need to do outside and leave a summary of the service provided hanging on the door; so if I have any question, then I can always call them back.  It is definitely more of a neighboring service than like a big national chain.  They are more attached to their business than other companies.  It just seems like they care more about their customers than some of the big guys.

After observing them, I'm not convinced that the service techs (observed 2 on two different occasions) are always knowledgeable in what they are doing.

They treat when we feed out from the house or something; they treat a little bit differently.  So far it's been fine and they are good about setting the appointments.  If we want them to come inside, they are more than happy to do that.  They come quarterly.  I haven't had anything at all that I would complain about.  They have been good like they have been on time and if we want them to come back they are more than glad to do that.  They are very professional when they are here.  Their price is more but I think that is fine because they do it differently.  Their responsiveness is good.

It took 3 months of weekly treatment to get rid of the roaches in the house we bought. The former tenant was disgusting and left food smashed into the hardwood floors. The Moxie team was excellent and hard working.

They are professional.  They seem to know what they are doing although my pest issues are not really solved.  They do provide a guarantee though, so I guess I can have them come back to respray my interiors.

It went fine.  They were very courteous.  Asked whether we needed indoor service, but I said no.  They reminded me that they would come back any time in between quarterly services, at no charge, if we had any pest problems.  Everyone who has come to our home from Moxie has been courteous and thorough.  
I'm not sure of how the price compares with others, which is why I gave them a B in that category.

We started using them for preventative reasons. When they say they are going to be out, they will be out. If you have an issue, they will come out and address it. They are very neat about how they are going about doing their work. When I call them out, it is part of the service.

This is a very service oriented company.  They do require a contract, however.  They call before and after appointments, check to see if you have any particular issues and after the first visit just hit the outside unless you ask the do the inside, which has no additional charge.  In addition, if you have issues in between visits you can call and ask them to come out to address and that is no additional charge either.

It was okay. They showed up on time. There was nothing great or nothing bad. They were prompt. They got up here pretty quick. I don't know if they solved the problem or the problem fixed itself. They didn't follow-up, that's one thing they didn't do. They were supposed to follow-up. They never did follow-up. I still have some of the stuff that they put down in front of the house that they said they were going to pick up. They've never done that. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount as far as I can remember.

I've used other pest control companies in the past and I'll admit that I was skeptical when the Moxie representative came to the house to discuss their services with my wife and I.  However, we decided to give them a chance and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised.  They sprayed the outside of the house while we were away and came back a few weeks later to spray again, when we continued to see spiders we called Moxie and asked them to come back to re-spray the outside.  They showed up immediately and sprayed again, no questions, no hassles, no if, and or buts.  We then made an appointment for Moxie to return to spray the inside of our home.  The company sent Jose Lozano to complete the job this time.  Jose introduced himself, put covers over his shoes and went to work after doing an outstanding job of explaining what product he was using and if it would bother our pets or household plants.  He was very pleasant and thorough.  My wife and daughter's haven't seen a spider (alive) since his visit.  Moxie and Jose continue to provide "Exceptional" customer service in an age where customer service is a dying business practice.  I'll recommend them to you and everyone else.
