Our system is not the newest, but Mannix keeps it running just fine. In January, we noticed the humidity was low .. about 20%. Mannix came out within hours of my call and checked out (and fixed) the system. The only charge was the replacement element ($35)

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Salesman/estimator was prompt, courteous, knowledgable, and quick to provide 3 written estimate options and to answer all follow-up questions. Estimates seemed fair and economical to us, and one year free Spring and Fall inspections was included in the price. Scheduled installation date fit my request and Installers were on time, professional, and efficient. They completed installation of all three appliances inside one day, and took extra time to explain how to operate the new thermostat that came with the HVAC system. Six months later, everything is working perfectly and we are fully satisfied with our purchase. Mannix even provided information to us quickly at tax time regarding how much of the purchase price was eligible for federal energy efficiency tax credits. Such a rare experience to find satisfactory service and appliances from a local company, the first time around. We will definitely plan to use Mannix again in the future.

Mannix provided a fair price and delivered everything they promised, on schedule. No difficulties whatsoever. I even inadvertantly overpaid them and they called me right away before cashing my check -- very honest people. I requested quotes from three other firms. One never provided a quote, two others were nearly twice the price of Mannix. It pays to shop around. I have since used Mannix for other work at this same property and plan on using them my other homes (I'm a landlord) in the future. My tenants were very pleased with the service and professionalism of their staff. I highly recommend this company.

They are excellent. They came out and they were punctual and professional. They were very good with explaining the price because of the unit. They put down plastic so they wouldn't track dirt. They cleaned up after themselves, it was probably cleaner than when they arrived. They are absolutely fantastic. They can't come highly recommended enough. They were highly competitive and professional.

The heating system on my house was poorly installed originally, causing it to not function in the coldest weather. The technician was very friendly and professional. I felt that I could have gotten a slightly better price elsewhere, but I did feel better about the service than I'd gotten from other HVAC providers, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Called Mannix and had a person at the house the next day, I told them not necessary to come that the day of the call. Quickly diagnosed the problem and got the unit working again. This was under warranty, no charge incurred, and everyone happy with the service.

Mannix is professional, prompt, courteous, and was able to install my new heat pump on a Saturday without it being an emergency. The crew was clean and cleaned up after themselves. I especially appreciate the extra effort they took to install the outdoor unit without removing the trellis screen around existing unit.

I scheduled the appointment but was concerned that they couldn't tell me how soon they'd be able to arrive. My furnace was broken, and it was extremely cold outside (and increasingly cold inside). I didn't want to wait or take a chance that Mannix might not be able to fix the furnace today, so I looked further and found another highly rated company that could come within a couple of hours and gave me a specific 2-hour time window. The other company arrived, addressed the problem, and left after about an hour, and I had not yet received the 1/2-hour warning by that time. Obviously, I canceled the Mannix visit. The other company charged about $20 less that Mannix's diagnostic fee of $119.95.

I have been using them ever since for my annual maintenance and upkeep of my system. I have recommended them a number of times to others who have all had similar experiences.

They called when they were on their way. I was told it would take 3 hours but they completed the work in about 2 hours. Cleaned up everything when they left.

They didn't actually clean anything, they just looked at it. They cleaned a little bit outside but not inside...they barely opened it. They explained as well. They said they covered my area but if I wasn't on that deal then I will have to pay more for them to come back and do any work because they were far away. It was something I couldn't use and I will not pay an extra...I don't know what amount...he said he won't come out because their office is far away so they didn't covered my area. They didn't charge me that day for it but for other work I would have done.

We have had a maintenance contract with them for several years and I highly recommend them. Their pricing is competitive however their service is outstanding.

I contacted Mannix two different times for estimates -- the first time for an estimate for a humidifier, and the second time for an air conditioner and furnace. They were responsive and professional. Ultimately I chose to go with a different product (Lennox) and a different service provider.

Mannix Heating & Cooling installed our gas heating system, and they do regular servicing on our furnace and air conditioning system. This is an outstanding company! Jerry Mannix & Co. are totally honest, totally competent, and they provide excellent customer service. We say this with a lot of experience with companies/contractors who we would not rate an A, so we know the difference!

I called Mannix to repair my upstairs HVAC until locted in the attic. I called on Saturday morning and the receptionist was great and told me that they could see me that day. The technican arrived on time and fixed the unit very quickly. The technican also provided usefull information concerning the age and condition of the unit. Mannix will be my go to HVAC company in the future. This experience was great in every recept.

We needed our Heat Pump system replaced and had one estimate from another company before having Mannix to our home for an estimate and information. Steve came to our home and provided us with detailed information on the different systems they offer with the benefits of each, pricing - including rebate offers, etc. My brother works in HVAC, so I spoke with him before hand to get some background information, and I was incredibly impressed with the information Steve shared and his honesty about it all. The whole process went very smoothly from beginning to end and we couldn't be happier. They installation went very well and the system is so much better than what we had. We will definitely use Mannix again in the future when we need to replace our other system.

My furnace broke on Christmas day. Mannix Heating and A/C listed 24/7 service so I called and notified the call center I needed my furnace repaired. I asked if they had technicians on call for Christmas and the call center confirmed they did and that a technician would contact me shortly. I finally received a return phone call on 26 December (after I had scheduled an appointment with another company). I am upset that Mannix did not call back or tell me up front that they did not have technicians available. That would have been a completely acceptable response considering that it was Christmas. But to have the call center make me believe that I could get my furnace fixed that same day and then never returning my call is completely unacceptable. Providing expectation management to customers would ensure customers knew exactly what to expect rather than getting their hopes up.

Back in 2010 in they installed a new heatpump and... whatever the internal piece of that was, "air handler?". In addition, they added a whole house humidifier. The system wound up being a lemon, along with enough from Carrier that Carrier did a recall on them. So, Mannix installed the new system quickly and efficiently. They're incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and I will definitely go to them in the future.

Both of my HVAC systems were 20 years old and failing. I have two indoor gas furnaces (basement and attic), and two outdoor AC units. I received quotes from four contractors (all highly rated on Angies List), and the Mannix quote was the best. Jerry Mannix arrived at the exact time he said he would for the initial quote, provided a detailed explanation of the work to be performed and, to my surprise, said they could complete the job in one day by bringing out two crews. As promised, both of the crews arrived early in the morning on the day promised, and had both systems installed and running by 4 PM that same day. They took great care to protect the flooring and removed all of the old hardware and trash. And there were no surprises, no additional/unexpected work that was required. The work entailed the installation of two complete Carrier systems -- inside and out -- and installation of new programmable thermostats. I am very pleased to have (finally) found an honest/reliable HVAC contractor and would highly recommend Mannix Heating and Cooling.
