It went very well. They are always courteous and the owner, Jerry Mannix, is available to call if you have a problem.

I lived all last years' summer with no A/C because I was afraid of choosing a repair company (Someone else came and replaced the circuit breaker which did not fix the problem) Had to have heat for the winter!! I joined Angie's list to get reviews and chose 3 for estimates. Mannix had a good price and suggested some alternatives. (I chose not the cheapest offered) They came as scheduled, installed new heat pump, new air handler, a new air return in the basement and a programmable thermostat. All is working fine. They came out for spring season checkup and will be coming for fall tune-up.

The service technician was punctual, very professional and informative. They conducted themselves in a manner that made me confident that this was a strong qualifier for the work I was seeking. Ultimately, I went with another provider, but that does not reflect on this tech nor his company.

Other summers, we had no inspection and then had capacitors blow at various times. This time I wanted to know the condition of everything before the summer started. We had a pretty good summer after that so I'm pretty glad we did the inspection. It was a cool summer, which probably helped. The only problem we had all summer was a fuse blew during the only heat wave, and I was able to replace it myself. Prices aren't bad for this area, I don't think anyone should be surprised by having to pay close to ninety dollars for anyone to come to their house for anything.

The representative who came out was very professional and helpful and answered all my questions thoroughly. Their pricing was pretty good considering how large of a company they are but ultimately I ended up going with a smaller company who was cheaper.

This is the 2nd time that Mannix has serviced my HVAC unit under my contract. Both times I have been extremely pleased with the experience. When I called to make the appointment, the person answering the phone was very pleasant. I actually was able to get an appt within a few days of my call. They phoned ahead of time, as promised, to let me know that the technician was 30 minutes away from my house. Bill arrived on time and was very friendly. It was apparent from the moment that he walked in the door that he loved the work that he was doing. He was very knowledgeable about the my unit, and explained many things that I didn't know about it and provided helpful tips on my filter and humidifier. At the time, Mannix was offering a "special" on the Air Knight Air Purification System. Bill explained to me how it worked, the impurities that It would remove from the air while at the same time not giving me a "sales pitch". No pressure what so ever. I decided to purchase it, and within an hour it was installed. He did an excellent job with the Installation after making sure that I was happy with the placement of the unit, and answered the questions that I had. As I sit here breathing my clean air, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. And once again, very happy with Bill and the Mannix team. I've lived in this area for almost 20 years and Mannix is the best HVAC company that I've dealt with. Very thorough, honest, and its evident that they take pride in making sure that the customer is pleased with their work. I would highly recommend this company. *Cost of service was for air purifier. Service contract was paid separately at the beginning of the year. Price was very reasonable.

Felt they were professional and that we did not 'ripped off.' They were on time, worked consistently and cleaned up behind themselves. We would recommend them.

We bought a new furnace and ac in February and have a yearly service agreement (I think it costs 175) to keep our 10 year warantee. We had a few issues with breaking in the new system and they were so prompt in coming to fix them -- often the same day or next day. Once we ironed those issues out, everything has been great. Most recently, they came to do service and everything looked great and they changed the filter. We have been very satisfied with the service and how quickly they came to our house when I called for an appointment.

Mannix professionals were courteous and helpful. The unit has run very well for the past two years. Their participation in the Wells Fargo payment program helped cover the costs, and they included a free year of maintenance with installation.

Was able to tell he me what the problem was....easily fixed. He also checked out the whole system.

I have used Mannix before for HVAC replacement and was very pleased, this was my first time using their electrician services. The owner helped determine what size generator I needed and coordinated with the gas company to ensure that I had capacity for the system. The staff that did the work were very organized and professional. They walked me through how to operate the system once they finished the installation and gave me their cell number to call if I had any questions. I had a question on a Saturday and they called me right back. We continue to be very happy with their service.

Bruce provided a very detailed set of options for replacing the heating and cooling system. He was very professional and punctual and took the time to discuss the options and answer all my questions. On the day of install, the technicians arrived as scheduled. They were very respectful about keeping the house clean as they removed the old system and install the new equipment. They finished the job earlier than expected, explained all the functions and features and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Mannix for anyone considering replacing their HVAC system.

Nevin was very friendly and easy to work with and he gave us some great suggestions. After the routine maintenance we had some questions about installing dampers and Mannix sent out Patrick who looked at how beneficial and cost effective adding dampers would be to improving the airflow of the top floor. Patrick provided some us some great recommendations that saved us both work and money effectively. I would highly recommend Mannix and especially Patrick. Overall I find the organization to be trustworthy and competitively priced. Patrick in particular always comes out and makes the best recommendations for our budget and is always very friendly and experienced at what he does. I usually ask for him by name and will continue to do so in the future.

Steve, the Mannix sales rep, provided me with a quote over the phone for several different sizes of water heater. I obtained quotes from two other contractors and selected Mannix as the middle of the pack on pricing (prices were only about $100-200 difference in either direction). After selecting Mannix, Steve came to my home on a Friday afternoon to look at the install site, check sizes, and decide on a water heater size and model. There was no attempt to upsell or push any additional features. One thing to note: Initially, Steve told me that Mannix includes an expansion tank on all water heater installations due to WSSC code requirements. However I had heard from a different contractor, and confirmed with directly with WSSC, that expansion tanks are only required if your water system is "closed," meaning that it has either a pressure-reducing valve (PRV) or backflow prevention valve (PBV) (such as an inside water meter). WSSC even sent me a one-page document explaining this requirement, complete with pictures of a typical PRV and BPV. If you do not have one of these devices (they would be located just after your main water shutoff valve), you have an "open" system and do NOT need an expansion tank. If you are served by WSSC, I recommend checking to see whether you have an inside water meter or other PRV or BPV; if you don't, you can save $100 by not having an expansion tank installed. Steve was able to schedule the install for 8:00 the following Monday morning (i.e. next business day!). Over the weekend I received a call that they would need to reschedule to noon because their crew needed to return to another homeowner to resolve an issue, which was fine with me as I had arranged to work from home for the day. On Monday, the crew showed up at 10:00, about two hours early. The installer, Matt, asked if it was okay that they were early (it was). I showed him the location and we discussed the positioning of the new water heater. They were able to move it slightly from the original position, giving me better access to some storage shelving. The installation took about two and a half hours. The two-man crew wore booties and laid down drop cloths over the entire stairwell and hallway into the utility room where the heater was being installed. They cleaned up meticulously, leaving the area exactly as they found it. They had to move some items we were storing in the hallway out of the way in order to move the water heater in, and they were careful to move them back afterwards. Matt also pointed out two small marks on the wall that they made accidentally while carrying down the water heater. After the install was complete, Matt took some time to go over the operation of the water heater with me and answer my questions. Overall I was highly impressed with the experience. Mannix's staff are courteous and responsive, and I was very impressed with Matt's and his partner's (I didn't catch his name) professional conduct. The install looks good (as much as I can judge it), and the water heater is functioning well so far. Mannix's prices seem to be competitive. I highly recommend them.

Very professional. Installed top of the line Carrier HVAC system. Although there were some product technical issues during the 6 month period after installation, Mannix was extremely responsive trying to remedy problems quickly and efficiently.

My first experience with Mannix was about a year ago. We were leaving for a week away, the dogs were staying home with a pet-sitter, and it was really hot that week. As we were packing up the car, I noticed it was really hot inside. Turns out the AC wasn't working at all. I called a few places and all said that they couldn't get me in until a day or two. Mannix listened to the pickle I was in, and sent Dave over right away. He explained and showed me what was wrong, and fixed it right then so we could leave as planned and not come home to roasted pooch. That alone qualifies for A+ rating. A year later, I still had AC but noticed it ran all the time and never got very cold. One call and Dave was there shortly. He walked me through the problem, and gave me the list of options, including the least expensive temporary fix of a few hundred dollars. I suspect any most HVAC companies would have told me I needed a new system right now. Why? Because I don't know any better. Not Dave. He was honest and explained what my options were fully. Next, I met with Patrick to discuss the options and costs of replacing part of all of the system. He was also prompt and he too explained the full range of options, including doing nothing for now. Again, no hard sell, no false panic, just the truth. In the end, I decided to go big and replaced the entire AC and furnace. They also ran the gas line so I could finally have a gas stove! They were able to relocate the outside unit to a better location, and keep my existing humidifier. The crew that did the work were super nice and friendly, they got there when they were supposed to and finished on time. They left no mess, and both Dave and the work crew always put the little booties on the keep my floors clean. They even tolerated my dogs 'helping' them as they worked. As a female homeowner, I have more than a few times experienced service "professionals" that try to take advantage of my assumed ignorance. Not these guys. Not once did they try to BS me. This is a huge to us ladies out there. So thanks for that Mannix. My only complaint is that Mannix doesn't also do every other kind of home repair. They would be my go to guys for everything if that were an option.

I was really happy with the service. They were very responsive, thorough, and answered all my questions. They didn’t pressure me about the sale. They did the installation and will now do the service on all three units.

Steve Brinsfield came to give me an estimate and did not try to sell me the "latest and greatest" A/C system. He gave me a reasonable suggestion of the efficiency I needed for the size of my townhouse instead of trying to sell me all the bells & whistles like the other A/C contractors. Mannix included an Angie's List discount and beat 5 other estimates and had great Angie's List reviews, so we went with them. Steve was also the only contractor to give me a pamphlet of the Carrier A/C units they sold instead of recommending only the best Carrier unit. Matt and Billy came and installed our new A/C system two days later, including condensor, furnace, and new coils that were puron-compatible. Billy took the time to explain the whole A/C system, how the air would flow, the system parts, and the switch to Puron. Highly recommend Mannix and getting multiple quotes for something as costly as a new A/C unit.

from start to finish everything went smoothly and would rate the company highly, the sales rep Patrick Horan was very thorough and professional to deal with, was not pushy or aggressive. he sent me particulars and options for choices I had questions and emailed him, he always answered my questions either by email or phone, I also had several other estimates from other companies, various a.c. brand names, read reviews on various sites, frankly none were reviewed positively, but after speaking to various reps of a.c. they assured me that the installation was most important and people usually do not write their positive ratings only when a problem exists I decided to go ahead with this company, installation was set up in a few days, Billy and Matt arrived promptly, explained what they were doing, asked if I had any questions not to hesitate to ask they cleaned up and went to work, everything is working fine, and if any problems arise I will call Mannix they have Carrier factory trained people and the price estimates were very good I intend to use them in the future note: when reviewing various companies reviews on A.L. I skipped over the maintenance contract reviews and focused on installation of new a.c.'s where I felt I could get a better idea of actual installation and price

They were exceptionally good. It went very well. They were professional and easy to work with. I recommend that they be used.

Dave is a master in his trade. He is extremely friendly and honest with his craft. I've never experienced anyone who was an engineer at heart and a commitment to his customers! I called Mannix in the morning and spoke with Ashley. I've nevere used them before but the reviews were quite impressive. So calling was easy and I was afraid that someone would come a day or two out because they were overwhelmed. But Ashley fit me in towards the mid afternoon. Instead Dave came at noon and he diagnose the problem in seconds and told me upfront about replacing the motor. I found the price very very good with its service/de-installation/installation of the motor. There is no-nonsense and you feel that Dave is a brother doing the right thing for everyone. Under 30 minutes quality workmanship! You can't beat that and Dave is "the" real deal at Mannix!

They were really nice and really good. They were wonderful. They were very friendly. They were very straight forward and honest which is nice.

It went great. Fortunately, it cooled down (this was in May) while I was waiting for the new unit, although the old one continued to work. They even offered me a window unit to make sleeping more comfortable. Financing the new system was easy (did it online while the sales rep was at the house--the financing is through Carrier/Wells Fargo, not through Mannix) and the install was without incident. I LOVE my new HVAC system. It has variable speeds and is so quiet. My electric bill this month was about 33% less, but summer is not the season I take a real hit on--I can't wait to see what difference it will make in Winter, when my bills are usually sky high. Mannix was very easy to deal with, took pride in their work, cleaned up after themselves, and just did an all around great job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed a new system.

He was honest and professional and added to the reason we used Mannix. The day they installed it was fast, clean and has been working perfectly since then.
