For over 35 years, Mann-In, Inc has been providing the Northern Virginia region with high quality home comfort services, with a focus on exceeding our customers’ expectations. The owners have built the company from the ground up while maintaining a hands-on ownership approach, ensuring that the mechanics, sales, and administrative staff are in collaboration. Today Mann-In, Inc employs 15 staff members and has been a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer since 2004. We specialize in Infinity® Systems and HYBRID HEAT™ systems and have won the Carrier President’s Award for six straight years! Our goal is to “Provide our customers with the Comfort they desire and the Quality they deserve” which is proven by our highest ratings on sites such as Washington Consumer Checkbook and Better Business Bureau. While Mann-In, Inc currently only installs Carrier made systems, we will service any and all brands of residential systems. We charge an hourly rate for service calls with no travel charges and offer 24 hour emergency service in the winter months ONLY.

Mann-In was great to work with.  We did have to re-schedule due to a technician being unavoidably unavailable but the scheduler was incredibly easy to work with and very personable.  The technician arrived on time and was very pleasant to work with.  Did a great job and felt very comfortable that noted replacement needs were truly needed.

We were very impressed by Mann-In from start to finish! They provided excellent and professional service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. The sales person was punctual and knowledgeable, and gave us a very competitive estimate with all available rebates for the different units we were considering, as well as a good warranty.  On the day of installation, the technicians were punctual, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable.  We were especially impressed that the owner of the company came out and reconfigured our air handler ducts to help them work more efficiently.  We felt like everyone was working to provide the best customer service, and they did it at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company!!

I have been an A #1 fan of this company for YEARS- a loyal customer through two homes. I have been using them exclusively and referring them to anyone who may ask for the past six+ years. Today I had scheduled a regular maintenance appt. for my furnace like I do TWICE a year. The window was 12-4, so I took 1/2 day off of work and to make it worse, I rescheduled a real estate closing specifically around this appt (making it an evening closing- not super convenient). After sitting for two hours, I randomly check my home voicemail for other messages, and there's a message from Jody saying she's got "a lot of no-heat calls and is down one service tech" .... I'm slightly annoyed because I specifically gave them my cell phone to use, but called her back and tell her I've taken half a day off and scheduled a bank closing around this appt., I really need to keep it. I'm greatly sympathetic to the people who have no furnace, but I must admit, I've waited longer then a same day appt. in those same situations before, and it seems to me the scheduled appts. should take precedence unless someone is willing to reschedule. She says, and I quote, "The only way that's going to happen is if I cancel someone's appt. with no heat." So I ask when it can be rescheduled, as I can't take half days off work easily, and she says, "That's the thing, I don't even know exactly because I'm down one tech and I'd have to call you back with a date and time. I'd be willing to work around your schedule, but I don't know when it will be."  I explain I'll just go with someone else "which I hate to do as I've been a loyal customer for many many years...." and her response? "Yeah. Okay, Sorry about that."
So much for customer loyalty. We used this company to install a full HVAC system previously, top of the line, nearly 10K - and have used them religiously for service ever since- even after moving into another home across town. I completely understand the issue with same day appts., but I am fairly sure other companies work through the night on those emergency appts. and don't leave their regular customers behind to do so. Thanks for costing ME money today, and giving us nothing in return- I sure wish I could have those referrals back. Never again. I'm so disappointed.

He was on time and it was an "emergency" because our A/C wasn't working upstairs and it was like 105 degrees outside that week.
He confirmed we had a leak... we had to have A/C repairmen come out each summer since I moved in 3 years prior to add coolant to our apparently leaky A/C unit which was costing us a bundle if you added it all up. The Mann-In guy explained he would refill the coolant for a nominal fee and he would give us an estimate to replace the unit. But he recommended  we should wait a bit and see what happens.
That was June of 2013. So summer 2014 I was expecting to have to call them out again to refill the coolant... only I didn't have to. Our A/C unit worked wonderfully all summer long two years in a row. They saved me money and that means they have earned a new customer for life.
Thanks Mann-In! I am calling them to give me a free estimate for installing our home humidifier now.

From beginning to end, an amazing experience!  After an initial call to schedule an estimate, the company's representative arrived on time and provided a detailed estimate and explanation of the procedures that would be performed.  Following that, calls explaining the finer details and scheduling options were both professional and informative, never leaving me in doubt as to when or what would happen next.  But what put them above all other contracts who do this work, in my opinion, was the speed they took in scheduling a "temporary" unit for me to use while waiting the 3 weeks for installation - truly saved me this summer!  And when the day came for installation, the crew arrived early and prepared, finishing the entire job with an hour to spare.  Truly, it doesn't get any better than this.

After speaking to the provider I realized I was going to have to do this project through my home warranty company first. I contacted Angie's List in order to get a refund of the Big Deal purchase. This is no reflection upon the provider as they were very nice and professional when I talked to them, they just didn't have anything available on their schedule.
