The crews were here for about 6 days. There were a couple minor issues prior to scheduling, but those were resolved fairly simply. Once the work began a couple issues were raised by the supervisor, but the on-site crew resolved them without any problem. The area around the house looked like a war zone for a day and a half as they tore the old shingles off, but when you figured it was out of control the guys had it heading in the right direction pretty quickly.

In 2005 I had a new addition put on my home. The contractor quite after 2/3rd of the work done. The area between my original house roof and addition leaked twice and he alledged fixed the problem. What with all the ice, snow and rain this winter, the roof started leaking inside my kitchen/four season room area. Since the previous contractor was not available - out of business (even if I wanted him back which I didn't) I turned to Angies List and found Katchmark Construction Inc. I talked to Amber who was very helpful and scheduled a construction site manager to come give an estimate for the job. They were backed up with other households experiencing the same problem, but was able to get an appointment within a week. Scott Gulseth arrived giving a very detailed estimate of the situation and written estimate of the costs. He was very understanding about my plight and I agreed to have his company perform the work.

They were very professional from start to finish. The process went according to schedule and we always knew what the next step was. The roofers worked from dawn to dusk for 3 days straight and cleaned up everything and then some. Our new roof is great. They were very helpful with additional problem areas in our house. I would definitely hire them again for any job. They gained our trust by providing their experience and knowledge and by offering us practical solutions and advice.

I never met a single person from Katchmark. All my conversations with them were by phone. I have never been so impressed with a company as I have with Katchmark. I started out by talking with Steve Renzi, their salesman, who came out to my townhouse and sent me a proposal. I called Steve after receiving it and had to ask a few questions. We agreed upon the work after I changed a few items and I sent the proposal back with a 1/3 downpayment. From that point I was contacted almost daily by him, Kelly in scheduling, Rodney on the job, the installation crew and finally, Joe in quality control. I knew what was going on with this project on a daily basis and if anyone of them were unsure of what I wanted, they called me. What a professional group of employees who actually go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. The work was done on time with only 1 day of rain delay. The clean up exceptional. Not a piece of old gutter or roofing to be found. I highly recommend their services.

I found Katchmark through another source, where the company stated they repaired metal roofs. However, when I called, Joy told me they did not repair them.

Work started promptly on time, was consistently performed by two dedicated, full time roofers who knew their trade well. Time frame for job was one week and finished on time.

On-time estimate visit, gave estimate at that time, scheduled work the next day and job was completed earlier than original time frame estimate. Excellent work and warranty; as another report stated, price is probably at the high end, but you are paying for good work and the warranty.

They were very efficient, and they did excellent work. They have an excellent guarantee on the work. They are expensive, but you pay for what you get!

THE REPAIR DID TAKE LONGER THAN WE HAD HOPED FOR AND THE WORKERS DID NOT COMPLETE THE WORK IN 1 DAY, BUT OTHERWISE WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE PRICE. WE FOUND THE WORKERS RESPECTFUL AND WERE KIND IN TELLING US THEY HAD TO COME BACK AGAIN THE NEXT DAY. OUR CALLS WERE ANSWERED AND THEY SHOWED UP WITHIN THE HOUR OF OUR CALLS.
