They responded quickly, which was great as our original roof was leaking in a number of places. Work began within a week of the contract signing. They covered the front of the house with a tarp to protect it from damage from the removal of the old shingles. When a shingle came loose after a unusually bad wind storm before the shingles had time to set, they came out the next day (Saturday) to replace it and to check the entire roof for any other damage. Overall experience was great. Everyone involved was very professional. We were extremely pleased that they managed to get the roof redone during a rare warm spell in February. We have a 3 story townhouse that another roofer refused to touch.

They called before coming out for the estimate and were on time. They were able to match the color of our 13 year old siding. The end result blended nicely.

They are really good. When I moved into this house, who ever had it before did not hang the gutters properly. They were separated from the house, so I had to have those taken off and redone. This included some new insulation underneath. Katchmark's work was great. They replaced the gutters properly, and the work only took a few days. We had no problems at all. The price was reasonable.

Had a small leaks in two places. Their estimator John Mendes came out promptly went up on the roof and diagnosed the problems. What was nice was he took digital photographs of the problems on the roof. Since I was not inclined to go up there. A full crew arrived on what turned out to be a bitterly cold day and did the work. That was a month ago and it has rained since. I'm inclined to think the leaks are fixed since they are not growing. They cleaned up after themselves. Would not have known they were even there since the repairs blend in so well with the existing roof.

They put tarps over the plants and deck to protect them. They did a good job and cleaned up after themsleves very nicely and very thorougly. From what I could tell the price was average. I was very happy with it.

They were extremely responsive. They sent out someone who not only gave me a quote, but hopped on my rooftop to make sure the quote was applicable to our issues. While he was up there he took care of a shingle that was sticking up. He spent time going over the different types of options and actually had a sample to show. For the roof, he determined that anything they did to try to fix the problem would not work and the the roof needed to be replaced. He basically said I'm not going to give you a quote for it unless you want to replace your roof. I really respected that because I certainly would not have known. He spent time explaining what he meant by what he said. The contractors were right on time; in fact, they were early. They were extremely pleasant. They were done much more quickly than I thought. They seemed to do a good job. There has been no leaking in our basement since the gutters have been replaced and we have had substantial rain since then. So thats great; however, there is a new problem and that is noise from the gutters. It is a fairly loud sound that we have never had before. I had them come back out and take a look. They said everything had been done correctly and it may just take some time for the noise to go away. That was my only disappointment.

We had some high winds in the area a few weeks ago and realized our siding was falling apart. The siding seemed ok prior to the high winds (it had a few dents) so we decided it was time to get some estimates. Katchmark was professional and on time for the appointment. The estimate was reasonable and we really felt confident with our consultant. He showed us pictures and explained what we needed to replace and why. About a week after signing we received a call regarding when the work would be started and a heads up on anything that could extend the duration of work (such as the weather). All of the Katchmark staff made sure to update on any changes immediately. They were wonderful to work with and best of all there were no "surprises". We even received a follow-up call shortly after the work was completed along with pictures of the finished work. Where going to need our roof replaced this summer and I will definitely call them!

They took care of the problem very efficiently and at a reasonable price. They also cleaned up their mess when they left. Even though we were out of town, they were very flexible with working with us. If the needs arose, we would probably use them again.

Had water leak and wanted a firm that could handle window replacement as well as address any problem with roofing or dormer siding (around windows) if found necessary during installation of windows. Window replacement under initial contract was done well. Coordinating with "siding" group of company was not productive. After it was determined that water damage was present under dormer siding. Requested estimate to remove siding/repair dormers/replace siding was never provided. After 2 week wait, got another top rated company to do so and perform the work. Would use window group again, but not for siding.

It was a great experience. They had great attention to deal. They were responsive and willing to work with us under a staining situation. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

It went very well. We have had no leaks and it seems to have fixed the problem. They came when they were supposed to and the job was done with no mess left. They didn't destroy any of the shrubbery with their ladders.

They did a really good job and the prices were reasonable. Their explanation of the work was very clear.

The consultant who came out to do the estimate was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the company and the product. We admittedly did not call any other contractors to get other estimates, because we wanted to get the work done as soon as possible, but we had heard good things about this company and the consultant's professionalism was reassuring. It was a few weeks before they could schedule anyone to come out to do the work, but once they did the team did a good job, and we were satisfied with the work. I also received a call the day after from a company representative asking how everything went and if it was to our satisfaction.

The price was about in the middle of the six proposals I received, but the salesman took the most time ensuring that I understood everything they were going to do. They were prompt and courteous. I certainly recommend them and will use them again in 30 years when these shingles expire.

It was a little delayed from the time of the order to having it installed. It took about two weeks longer than it was supposed to. They came out when they were supposed to and they did a pretty good job.

It went great. They cleaned up very well. They showed up when they said they would. They stuck to the schedule. Everything is working well. They follow up.

They came gave me an estimate. They called back 11/17/08 and said I would have to sign a contract by the end of November. If I didn't sign the contract the price would go up due to an increase in price of materials. I think he is trying to strong arm me. I have two houses that need two roofs and he is being rude to me. One of my houses is attached to another and in order to roof the porch he said I would have to pay for my neighbors half. That is an additional 650 dollars. I have tried to contact my neighbor and he has not responded.

So far so good. We haven't had any major rainfall yet. I thought they were very professional I have no complaints.

They were very professional. Were timely in providing an estimate. No hard sell. Once they were awarded the job an appointment was set for the installation. Due to bad weather they had to reschedule the job, however, it was only a one day delay. They arrived early in the morning, removed the roof and had the new roof installed by 6:00 that evening. We were always informed what was to transpire and it was always handled professionally.

They did an excellent job for me. They removed my old door, and I had heard that the installation of a door is as important of the quality of the door, and they did a very good job. They made the appointment, and they came out right on time.

We had an excellent experience with Katchmark. When rain caused a delay, they immediately rescheduled at a time convenient for us. They actually fabricated the product from a truck in our driveway - fascinating. Work was completed in 4 hours and they cleaned up and removed all old gutters. We are very pleased with the quality of the gutters we selected. Excellent service.

Excellent. I had two site visits and multiple phone calls with Eric Templeton, the salesperson, and he was very professional and knowledgeable. Eric came out to provide the estimate within a few days of my calling to set up an appointment, and was on time. Eric recommended the top-of-the line gutters; he was very upfront in noting that they were a more expensive option, but he recommended them given the size of my roof. I also preferred them from an aesthetic perspective. Overall, I don't feel as if I was "up sold" just to churn out more profit. As Eric predicted, the work was scheduled within about a week to 10 days of the time I signed the contract- (they started fabricating the gutters within a few days of my signing). The installers arrived on time the day they were scheduled to arrive, and worked very efficiently. The crew cleaned up thoroughly and the foreman accommodated my specific requests, including installing a rain chain and relocating the downspouts so that they were not on the front of my house but rather on the sides. The foreman (whose name I cannot recall) was also very professional, as was his crew. Two workmen also came by the next day, at my request, to redirect a black drainage tube to carry water away from the house. The installation looks fantastic and we have had several heavy rainstorms since the gutters were installed, and so far there are no leaks. I'm glad I chose the highest quality gutters. It's amazing how much they improve the appearance of the house. As I noted above, there were two visits and multiple calls with Eric, not because of any problems, but because I changed my mind about the scope of the project and about the type of trim that I wanted installed. He was very patient and did not apply any sales pressure, which I appreciated. Everyone I dealt with from Katchmark -- the woman in the office who scheduled the appointment for the estimate, Eric Templeton, Chris (who scheduled the installation and followed up), and the foreman and crew, was excellent. Katchmark deserves it's outstanding reputation.

Overall it was an excellent experience. Initially we wanted an estimate to repair a portion of the roof that was leaking and had some soft spots. Somebody came out to our house for an estimate within a few days of calling. Did a good job of explaining what was wrong with the roof and gave us a reasonable estimate to repair the bad section. He did not push us at all to replace the entire roof. After getting a couple of other estimates, Katchmark's estimate was the cheapest. We also decided to replace the whole roof as the cost of repairing the affected section was smaller than we had thought. A crew of 5 workers showed up promptly the day of the work. We were amazed that they were able to replace the entire roof in a single day. We did have to pay extra because we ended up having to replace all the plywood on the roof as it all was in pretty bad shape. The cost of the plywood is not in the estimate. The workers did a good job of cleaning up after all was done. My only gripe was that since they had to pull up all the plywood, there was a pretty big mess in our attic that we use to store things. Other than that, everything went very well. I will definitely consider Katchmark when I'm ready to replace our siding.

I used Angie's List to identify three highly-rated roofing companies, and called each for an estimate. All companies were prompt, courteous and professional (the other companies were Shiners and Capitol). Katchmark offered the best deal, overall. For a lower price than the others, I was able to receive lifetime shingles (rather than 30-year), plus I preferred their gutter and cover solution: the RainPro system with Gutter Tunnel. The RainPro system appears to be the same size as a 5-inch gutter but has the capacity of a 6-inch. Also, I researched and listened to all companies about the necessity and value of a gutter cover. No system is perfect and I was prepared to forego altogether. In the end, we thought the solution offered by Katchmark was the best. The Gutter Tunnel seems to work well with the RainPro system (it's not a covered system) and the lower tunnel seems to be an efficient way of keeping water moving, even with eventual debris that all systems will experience. Another excellent benefit of using Katchmark is their customer service and communications. Every step of the process, I received a call from the office or the foreman, telling me when they were expected on site and when they would finish. I also received follow-up calls to ensure our satisfaction with the clean-up and if we had any questions. Good company. When we replace our windows in the near future, I will certainly give them a call.

The job went off without a hitch. The company was very prompt and responsive. They did a wonderful job.
