John, the estimator, was quick to respond, was on-time and had great customer service skills. He got his crew scheduled on our tight deadline and they finished as promised in 3 days. The work they did was great and I've already recommended them to several friends and neighbors. I will gladly call them again when the need arises.

K&K was the highest of the bids I got for refinishing the hardwood floor in my home.  Patrick, the estimator, was the most professional of the bunch and definitely knows what he is talking about, and that is why I went with K&K.  They did a good job on the staining and refinishing, with a couple of exceptions.  There were 3 good-sized spots that were not evenly stained, and when I called Patrick about it, his guys came over to correct it very quickly.  But, it should have not happened in the first place.  They were also a little sloppy with the stain, splashing it on the walls in several places, requiring re-painting.
Overall, they did a good job and were professional.

They did a great job with all of it, but we did notice what we thought was a problem with one room.  I called them to complain and within a few days two managers came out to look at the work.  They agreed that the job was done done correctly, and ended up taking up and replacing two huge rooms full of wood flooring to be sure that it was fixed perfectly.  They did not charge anything for fixing this mistake.  I was quite impressed.

Advised that the subfloor was not in great shape. Told me they could proceed as is or replace and reinforce for additional money. After talking it through I decided to spend the extra money. In hindsight I'm happy I did, the floors turned out beautiful.

I set up an appt. He called and asked to come by earlier that same day. The time change was fine. He measured and promised an estimate in 2 days. Ten days have passed and nothing!

K and K did an absolutely flawless and beautiful job on the projet.  They were efficient, professional and all about high quality.  The floors look terrific and they could not have done a better job.  They carefully moved furniture around and made sure the finished product was perfect.  I would recommend them in a heart beat.

I have used K&K floors on three separate occasions in the last couple of years.  The experience has been fabulous.  They send knowledgeable professional installers who do a quality job. They are always on time and always put down fabric sheets to protect the home as they go in and out, and definitely are careful as they move furniture.  They always clean up after themselves when the job is completed.  I would definitely use them again and would recommend them without hesitation to others.

K & K did a wonderful job from start to finish. They weren't the lowest bid (they were not the highest one either), but their excellent customer service was what decided me. Patrick, who did the initial estimate, was knowledgeable and patient, and answered all of my questions. The written proposal came promptly and scheduling the work was easily done. The installation crew came out on time and got right to work.
The three installers set up shop both in my driveway and on the back patio on top of the old carpet they removed, which cut down on dust and cleanup. They took extra care to make sure they got the details right, such as confirming how I wanted the fireplace hearth framed. They also graciously accommodated an unexpectedly early furniture delivery while they were in the middle of work. Considering how hazy, hot, and humid it was on the day of the installation, I was impressed that they only really stopped for a lunch break. Nine hours later, everything was completed and cleaned up neatly. The floors and staircase both look spectacular, and I plan to use them again when I do the upper floor of my townhouse.

Found K&K through Angie's list. Contacted them and their sales agent (Patrick Liu) came out with some samples and measured the area providing some recommendations. Went and visited store to look at additional samples before making selection.  Selected Mullican Flooring Muirfield Autumn Maple 4” width x 3/4” thick solid. My entire upper floor and one room on the main floor was installed (about 1800 sq/ft) as well as 15 stairs (treads and risers). Great job. One of the best experiences I have had with a company.

No issues and great to work with.

Installers arrived on time and were done when they stated.  Professional and Clean when they left. They did abide by angies list coupon after they gave the estimate.  I will refer then to anyone who is in need for a installer

I contacted K&K to get an estimate for hardwood for 4 bedrooms.  My disappointment was in the cost of the job...which was about 1/3 more than what we'd thought it would be.  We'd done some research and the price we'd seen/heard was between $5-$6 per sqft. 
His estimate was almost $9 per sqft ($8.93) for the sand-n-finish product.  Plus, while they would move any furniture to install/sand/finish, they wouldn't help put it back.  (Which is kind of understandable since it takes a few days to do the work.) 
I thought the estimator very knowledgeable...but he kept trying to direct me towards the pre-finished...less cost, less labor, less mess...etc. (good or bad.)  He did agree that the only way to match up our existing wood floor was to have the sand-n-finish product.  
Oh...he first commented that they weren't having the Angie's list savings and military savings as the coupon stated, but later agreed to give a max of 7%...which is what both totaled to anyway.  He also mentioned that they have ample work now...and any additional savings might come in the winter when work slows down. 
May use them...but right now we'll be getting more estimates.  

K&K showed up on time and began preparation and installation of our new floors.  They completed the job over 2 days and did a fantastic job.

From start to finish I can not say enough about this company. Patrick was very helpful, honest and professional. He came out and gave us an estimate in several different senerios for the hardwood or carpet. We decided for the price we would just do all hardwood. They matched it with what was already on our main level. Patrick was realistic and very helpful in directing us whether to do strip hardwood or one peice stained hardwood on our stairs. I just really got the impression that they were here to help us not get the most money out of us. He scheduled the work for two days. The crew came on time and set up fast. They were extremely professional. They taped off both hallways so dirt and dust would not get all over the house. They moved furniture. They were done in one day with the exception of some trim work. A man came out the second day to nail down some trim (took him maybe 15 minutes). Overall the job was fantastic. The floors look so so so good and I can not say enough about this company. I would highly recommend.

They were very, very good. They were professional, quick and very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. They were very accommodating and involved me through the entire installation process.

They took the old rugs that they tore out and put them in the driveway and then put their saws on top of the rugs. When they were done, they rolled up the rugs-- saw dust and all-- and took it away... no mess left behind!

The men set up shop (various machine saws) in the garage; they hung plastic sheeting to prevent spread of very fine dust wherever this made sense; they used compressors for nail guns and soft headed hammers etc for installation.  It was unavoidably very noisy!  To get the measurements on the pie shaped steps correct, they modeled the steps with heavy paper and then calculated the angles on which they needed to trim the wood from these papers.  One stair case flairs at the bottom so not only were long steps necessary, one end of each of four steps had to be pieced at an angle.  The man worked very carefully to get this exactly correct and the result is beautiful.  Clean up was thorough.  They were always courteous and worked almost steadily (with only a small number of brief breaks) for nearly ten hours to complete the work in one day.    

I met with John, he was extremely knowledgeable  and really helped me think through the decision for the flooring.  The quote given to me was fantastic and based on all the reviews, and research that I did prior to this, I would have purchased the service.  I definitely would recommend K&K flooring.

We received several estimates. K&K's was not only the best estimate, they recommended changes to our overall plan that made the house look better. They spent time explaining our options and we selected a hardwood for the flooring. They arrived on schedule and installed the flooring in one day. They were very skilled and very professional.

It turned out very well. My wife was a little unhappy with the blending into adjacent rooms. When they first attempted the blending they tried to correct it the best the could but she was not completely satisfied.

When I called to make the appointment, the woman that answered the phone was very pleasant.  Patrick came out to do the estimate.  The floors were installed, and looked beautiful. A short time later, there was a couple of areas where the boards were splitting apart from each other.  I called and talked to Patrick who assured me that they would be out to remedy the problem.  They were able to accomodate an appointment time that was convenient for me, and came out to repair the floor.  Several months later (this most recent visit), there were boards splitting apart again.  They again accomodate my schedule and came out to repair the problem.  At that visit, I mentined to the technician that I was unhappy with the threshhold transitions bewteen my bathroom with the closet and living room.  That day, the tachnician made a suggestin to me for a change, and did the work for me that day.
I would use this company again because they have been very polite, accomodating, and stand behind their work.

The estimator and installer were very professional.  The installer put up plastic screens and runners to protect the house from dust. The installation started and fisnished on time and was exceptional.  The installer even stayed a few extra minutes to help me put down a new area rug under our modular funiture.  Their price was the best I found based on several highly rated flooring contractors on Angie's list.I would highly recommend using them.

Crappy.  Was told within three days that I'd see an estimate.  Never got one.  I never understand why some of these contractors who don't want the work don't just say so.  If it is too big/too small/beyond your abilities/you're too busy/whatever, just say that up front.  I don't have time to chase down people who I am looking to hire, and find it very discourteous to have to do so.  Will negatively recommend to friends and neighbors.
