Locally owned and operated, 123JUNK is the DC area's favorite donate, recycle & disposal service. Fully insured, we go into your home or business to pick up and remove your unwanted items for a fee, based on the amount of space your items occupy on our truck beds. Fuel, labor and disposal fees are all included. What makes us unique is our disposal process. 1-2-3 represents 1- Donate, 2- Recycle and 3- Dispose. Our objective is to keep your junk from becoming trash. After we load our trucks, we take your items back to our facility where they are sorted, inventoried and staged for display. A rotation of charities come to claim the items and we coordinate the delivery of those items to those charities. We'll even provide you a receipt from the charities that accepted the items. They were scheduled for between 10:00 AM and NOOn and they arrived at 10:15 with a call to let us know they were coming. The crew director Matthew introduced himself and took and inventory of all the stuff they were going to haul away. Then they set to work and everything was done very quickly and no banged walls! The crew also helped me move some other furniture around that I need moved from upper and lower levels of the house for staging. I could not be more pleased.

Gave a price on the phone. Said they would confirm after seeing the items and if price changed I didnt have to go with it. right on time and price was same as phone quote. Hauled everyting away and surprise, sent me a charitable donation receipt for the patio furniture which was someone acccpeted

LOOK NO FURTHER! As someone that used to work in customer service, I could not possibly recommend another company (for this service) other than 123Junk. They actually care that you are happy with their service, they are excellent with all communication and contacted at every time promised, and their demeanor could not have been more pleasant. I was in the midst of packing up a client & friend's home, was dealing with one problem after another related to any outside services: 123junk saved me and kept things moving!! I can’t say enough good things about my experiences with 123Junk. My neighbor hired 123Junk to clean out and move personal belongings from her storage shed. It was a big job and she raved about how professional and efficient they were. Based on her recommendation, I contacted 123Junk to move furniture within my home. I discovered that very few companies offer a “Labor Only” service and none charge less than a 2-hour minimum rate. 123Junk not only provides this important service, but offers a 1-hour minimum rate at a very reasonable price. I used the company on 2 occasions. Both times the guys were prompt, very efficient, extremely courteous, professional, experienced, and took great care with the furniture they were moving and with the obstacles they navigated within the house. On the second occasion, the crew who was assigned to my project was unexpectedly detained at another job site. Rather than rescheduling my appointment, the owner of 123Junk---Collin Wheeler--- and salesperson Brian Anderson jumped into their personal vehicles so they could meet the pick-up window and complete my job on time. When they arrived, they actually apologized for not being “in uniform.” They explained that, although they had years of moving experience, they were no longer working on the trucks but were part of the office staff. Mr. Wheeler never mentioned that he was the owner of the company. This experience speaks volumes about the company’s work ethic and their dedication to their customers. Clearly, they went above and beyond to honor their commitment when they could easily have rescheduled the appointment. The owner and skilled professionals employed by 123Junk work extremely hard to provide outstanding service and exceptional customer service. I highly recommend 123Junk and will use them for future projects.

Matthew and Lloyd arrived about 4:45 after giving us a call they were on their way. (The scheduler gave us a window of 4 to 6 pm for their arrival.) We walked through our 3-story townhouse with them, so they got a good idea of what we still had--including leftovers from our yard/basement room sale-- nicknacks and framed artwork plus posters (see basement room before and after photos), empty boxes, laundry bins, shelving, spices still in the kitchen cupboard, random dishes, old bedroom carpet, etc. They loaded everything carefully on to their truck, explaining everything would be sorted and as much as possible donated to charity or recycled. It was a lot of work shlepping things downstairs and upstairs and outside to the truck, and Lloyd and Matt remained helpful and cheerful! In fact, we were amazed that they enjoyed their work so much. And we were so grateful! In 2-2.5 hours they were done. Our home was empty! Ready for our realtor. Our "stuff" filled 40% of the truck. We were charged the amount of the estimate provided by Rob, the scheduler. We could not have been happier.

I give the team an A+! They worked efficiently and diligently to load every square inch of the truck. They secured a second truck for me THAT AFTERNOON when I asked if it was at all possible. That 2nd truck was also filled to capacity. They protected the front door with furniture pads. They exceeded my expectations and I recommend them without hesitation.

Fantastic!!!! The crew arrived exactly when they said they would. They then spent three hours methodically taking all of the junk out of the basement. Having worked with them before I knew I had items in the basement that they could not take. Things like motor oil and anti-freeze cannot be taken as junk and discarded. I had not previously sorted through those items to separate out the items they could take from the ones they could not. They looked through each item, took the ones they could and stacked the others on a shelf. It first looked like I would eat up more than the two truck loads I had requested. But they did some reloading in order to make sure that everything fit on the two trucks. The guys they sent were extremely nice engaging us like we had been friends for years. When they were done they swept out the basement floor and took that with them also. They made payment very easy using their tablet with a credit card reader. I cannot possibly see how the whole process could have gone any better. Four guys did in three hours what would have taken me weeks or months to do. And they made the whole experience as easy and pleasurable as possible. I would recommend using this company for any job, big or small.

The two young gentlemen who did the work were professional, friendly and took care not to do any damage as they moved the large pieces through and out of the house. Lloyd was very helpful in that he provided more detail and insight into how I would periodically receive receipts from their office when a charitable organization would select one of the donated items. I was expecting to receive a receipt at once so this was helpful to know and as a result I adjusted my expectations accordingly. I look forward to getting the first receipt.

It went well. I was called by one of the young men to let me know how soon they would arrive. Joey, Eric and Sean were very professional and polite. Joey, the team leader, explained everything and even said he would share my recommendation with the owner to consider two new sources to accept donated items, FOHA and Purple Heart. Will definitely use this company's services again in the event we need the services. Will also recommend them to co-workers and friends.

So easy to arrange through Angie's List. They gave me a courtesy call 30 minutes before arriving. And they arrived right on time. Two very courteous men loaded a lot of heavy boxes and tubs and other household items (including the enormous TV) on the truck very quickly. Many of the items were usable and I like that usable items are donated. I highly recommend 123 Junk!

They were extremely responsive and sent out 4 really delightful men that did the job. They brought an extra truck in case we needed it and were very nice throughout the estimate and hiring process as well as during the service. They said they would do their best to get everything in 1 truck to avoid extra costs, which they did. They were also very careful about not damaging our items and offered to go through our items after taking them and donating some items to charities and would send us back a tax form for tax deductions. I would highly recommend them.
