The installation of all the shades was on schedule and on budget.  Mr. Ferris, the installer, was polite and professional.  The one problem since installation was a result of me dropping and breaking the remote control for the powered blinds.  Mr. Ferris promptly came to  our house and repaired and reprogrammed the remote. Ferris Blinds will be my sole source for all window treatments in the future.

I ordered motorized room darkening honeycomb style shades from Ferris Blinds for my bedroom and we're very happy with everything.   They allow my husband and I to sleep in now that the days are longer.   

The whole thing took about 2 1/2 weeks. 

We we will definitely use Ferris Blinds again when we're ready to do more rooms.

Everything went very smooth. My husband and I were very happy with shades and the quick turnaround.  And the installation itself took no time at all.  Steve did the installation by himself.

What a wonderful, easy experience working with Steve.  He measured and installed the shutters in a timely fashion and was very responsive.  Not only that, he repaired some roman shades we had previously purchased from another vendor.  We could not be happier.

It worked out fine. I'm contemplating calling them again, I need additional shutters.

Steve Ferris did a wonderful job explaining the variety of options on his first visit and listening to our thoughts and concerns. He was always on time, worked diligently and cleaned up afterward. We received phone and email confirmations for our appointments and progress details, such as when to expect the custom blinds to come in. We are very happy with the results.

The entire process from start to finish could not have been smoother.  Mr. Ferris was outstanding to work worth.  He was prompt when communicating via phone or email and arrived on time for every appointment.  Most importantly, he was personally involved in every aspect of the transaction.  Pricing was slightly more expensive than other suppliers, however, the level of personal service, professionalism, and quality was worth every penny.  There were two panels during the initial install that were slightly defective, however, Steve reordered new ones with no additional issues or hassles and promptly installed them when they arrived.  I wholeheartedly recommend Ferris Blinds, Shades, and Shutters to anyone reading this review. 

Love, love, love the new look of our 2" white wooden blinds!  So much more light comes into our house and everything looks so nice and updated.  Steve Ferris of Ferris Blinds Shade and Shutters is personable, easy to work with and very knowledgeable with the products he sells.  We weren't exactly sure what we wanted and he helped us through the decision process with patience and understanding.  We were pleasantly surprised at how easy installation was without a single problem.  We wish all of our experience with contractors over the years could be this easy.  Thanks again Ferris Blinds Shades and Shutters!  We will definitely call you again and recommend you to others.

I phoned Ferris Blinds, Shades & Shutters for an estimate on the installation of sun shades for my screened in porch. We set up a convenient time to meet that same week. Steven Ferris came to the house with samples in a wide variety of fabrics, the degree they block the sun and options for raising and lowering them. I was very impressed with the many options and fabrics available and his knowledge of what would work well with screening the sun from our porch. After placing the order Steven was able to schedule the installation for the next week. Steven arrived on time and the installation went very smoothly and the shades were quickly installed. On the advice of Steven I had guides installed to keep the shades from moving in the wind and that was one of the best options! When they are up the sun screens are almost invisible. When the shades are down they block the sun and provide privacy. Also the fabric we selected coordinates very well with the furniture! I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process! The shades are beautiful, functional and we love them! I would highly recommend Ferris Blinds, Shades & Shutters for their expertise in all variety of window treatments!

He arrived on time, took measurements, showed me his products, explained the differences and gave me four different quotes. I plan to use his service once I decide to move forward.

Completely satisfied with the shutters installed previously by Ferris Blinds Shades & Shutters on the main and lower levels of my home, I ordered the same treatment for six additional windows on the upper level.  I appreciated that Steve Ferris was extremely professional and knowledgeable.  He was accurate in his measurements,  as well as organized and carefully precise in installation.  Furthermore, I appreciated his care in keeping me informed about delivery and installation dates. 

Mr. Ferris scheduled the consultation within 2 days of my email request for a consultation and estimate.  He arrived on-time with an array of blinds, shades and shutter samples.  He took the time to explain the usage of the different products in controling light, privacy,and their energy saving features.  He submitted a detailed scope of work and cost estimate.  After signing a contract, the Hunter Douglas shutters were installed within 2 weeks.  The installation took 2 hours and the installer was careful not to damage my floors or disturb my home furnishings.
