Was attempting to contact David Mintz at Yard Enhancement Service (YES) for the better part of a week and a half and never had a returned email or phone call. We were provided his contact info from the prior owner of our new house. I cannot speak to his quality or work or to the affordability of any service provided by YES as they we did not hire them nor would we if they ever decide to return our calls and emails.

My front lawn needed a complete "rebuild". I'm not that skilled so on the recommendation of 4 neighbors I contacted David at YES. His renovation proposal was very clear, detailing exactly the materials his team would be using, the equipment, and the processes. He even provided instructions on care after the work was done. They arrived on time and finished the same day. I cannot recommend them enough! Excellent work!

Crew was amazing , excellent work , punctual, hard working, and really knew their stuff. A++, Very impressed and price was reasonable. I would like to hire again, though not sure about the owner, David. He is reason for my lower rating. Hard to get a hold of, they did some extra work outside of scope without checking we me first then added $300 to final invoice. Seems overwhelmed and not professional/business like to deal with. I used to recommend them to my neighbors, but will no longer.

Left a message to ask for someone to come over and do an estimate. He called an went out of his way to schedule me in. After that, no estimate. After several calls and emails and texts, no estimate. He seems well-intended enough. I cannot help but think decisions are made on who to call depending on how big the work is.

I have used Dave and his team for the past three years.. This year has been by far the worst year getting things done by Dave.. I want to start by saying that Dave is a good person, knows his stuff and his team do amazing work.. This year we told Dave that he was are guy. We are not going to use anyone but him and his team.. Not worried how much projects cost, because he does fair pricing, just need to get on the books and get the projects done... Well that never would happen..... All year we would get the run around.. I would call asking when we would we be on the books.. I would always get " soon".. Or . "I will call you and let you know"... But that would never happen either..so the final.straw was when we had Dave come out at the end of July, beginning of August... To look at trees we needed branches cut down.. Some debris to be removed and a piece of rebar to be dug up...so a couple of weeks goes by and I hear nothing from him.. I contacted Dave to see when we will get on the books.. He said he would let me know by the weekend.. Weekend comes and goes, no Dave.. I contact him again.. He tells me by text that he promises me to have the work done by the end of August... So on 8/28/18 at 8:43pm.. I get a text from Dave stating that he sent the estimate... I said cool but I am more interested in it be is still going to make it by the end of August... He texted back..." I know man. . I'm sorry"... So I go and look at the email... Great price for the job but he won't be near until sometime between Sept 10-14... To me that is breaking your word, your promise.. How do you judge a person is by their actions and words.. And both were broken... I called Dave the next day... Dave did say he was sorry but that was about it.... I asked what he could do to make it up.... To show that he made a mistake and that he valued me as a customer.... He offered nothing... I asked for 10% or 5% off the bill.. He said no...... They do our leaves... So I asked for one free leaf removal.. He said no.... That is no way to treat a so called valued customer... Who has used you for three years.. He did not want to repair the trust from he's broken promise.. Again Dave knows he's stuff about the landscape work... But you will wait forever to get an estimate, takes days for him to return your call,text, or email... If he does at all and now he doesn't keep promises or make up for his mistake.. I am not saying to not use him... Because they do great work at a good price... But just to know what you are getting into...

Great work! The crew worked very hard.They were polite and cleaned up! Dave did a wonderful job explaining the process before the work was started. After completion he went over everything and gave us instructions for taking care of sod that was place in yard.I will definitely hire him again for landscaping and other drainage issues.!

Estimate was received in a timely manner and the work was done quickly by a hardworking crew. Drains solved water problems - next rainfall, no water in the basement. Price estimate was one third the cost estimated by another contractor. Thanks to the owner of Yard Enhancement Services for helpful conversations about solutions to the water problems. Extremely professional and helpful.

It was a very good experience. David understands what you are trying to achieve and wants to have satisfied customers.

Very well. Contractor on time and performed services to my satisfaction and was flexible to changes in the work. I have recommended them to several other people and the contractor has performed a similar service at one of the recommendations to their satisfaction as well.

Initial quote was quite a bit under what it ended up costing, but the work was done well. I especially appreciated their consistent and effective contact with me during a trying time for me and busy time for them.

Sent a message through Angie's List on Mar 28 requesting an estimate for mowing services. Never got a response.

The crew had to hand-chop one of the tree stumps to avoid damaging very large old azaleas adjacent to it.  They did a perfect job and removed all of the  sawdust and roots.  You'd never know there had been a large tree there.  The mulching job is also very tidy and we couldn't be more pleased.
