About us

TechMedx was started as Concise Computer Solution in 2002 to provide small business computer consulting. After a few years in business we found a growing need for residential computer support services as well. As we grew our client base and new technologies began to emerge we found an even greater demand for more than just computer support. Our clients often asked if we could help with a TV connection issue, or help setting up a Sonos wireless sound system. Over our ten plus years Concise Computer Solutions has evolved into TechMedx our current business model and name. TechMedx continues to provide computer support to residential and small businesses, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction. We proudly offer much more and enjoy assisting our clients with all the technically difficulties emerging devices brings with it. It is with that in mind we look forward to growing our business to whatever new technology tomorrow may bring!

Install computer PC peripherals, and transfe, connecting multiple computers, on-site technical support professional for any and all problem you may be having with all forms of technologies. From installing an LCD TV and connecting it to your home Wi-Fi, printers, scanners. Hook up your Wii, support and install laptop software, to re-building and installing computers we can do it all. Shawn was great! He went through my error logs and found what was kicking me out of my favorite online game, World of Warcraft. He discovered my Windows was corrupted, and then took a look at my built in web cam. He said my computer brand was notorious for bad wiring (according to forums) and while he could fix it, it would take time. Lots of time. He offered an alternate solution - spend 20.00 and get a webcam to clip on the top of the laptop. I thought his second solution was much more reasonable! Always nice when someone doesn't take advantage of a customer's ignorance to "rack up their bill." I am happy to say I now have a "Tech Guy" and don't have to use the "Squads" at local stores who usually are next to useless, take too much time and are expensive. Yayy! I highly recommend this service. :-)

Shawn arrived right on time, ready to go to work on my computer.  He stayed for about two hours - as long as it took to make sure my computer was working as fast as possible and all my questions were answered.  He's very knowledgeable and proficient, and he also knows how to explain things to a lay person without being at all condescending.  My problem was too many programs running at once, slowing my computer down.  Shawn worked with me to understand which programs I use, and which (mostly manufacturer add-ons) could be removed.  Also, I wasn't sure how to work parts of my multifunction printer.  Shawn didn't leave until I was good to go with all of it.  Finally, I was really surprised at the price - I'd expected to pay a lot more.  Shawn really provides a great service and a great value.

The first time I used Shawn was years ago.  My computer got a virus and I was at risk of loosing all my data.  I hadn't backed up my computer in awhile.  He came and saved all of my files, cleared off the hard drive and reinstalled all of the programs.  I have used him ever since.  I recommend him to all my friends.

Shawn the owner of TechMedx was called when we received the hard disk for my computer. We have used Shawn for many years as our IT specialist for our business. He came over that day to install the hard disk and get my computer hooked backup to the network. As a business owner like myself it is nice to know that when you have a computer problem or glitch you know that it will be taken care in a timely manner, so your business can keep on track. Do hire this guy! Shawn is exceptional.  His breathe of knowledge is impressive.  He actually determined that what I had been told by another "geek" business was simply not true.  I had been told that my hard drive was failing and I needed a new computer.  This was inaccurate.  However, my computer was several years old anyway, so I don't regret getting a new one.  I have signed on as an annual client with TechMedx because of this positive experience.

The service was just okay overall. They’re punctual and keep their appointments, but the downside is more knowledge about technology was needed than I would’ve thought. They aren’t very creative in interpreting things; they just do what you tell them to do, and that’s it. For what I paid, I would’ve expected more interpretive help.

He's a very nice guy, and he's prompt. He will do as much as he can in the house but if he has to take your unit away he will take it and work on it at home. I used him just this summer for a new computer system. He went out and bought it and set it up for me, he also put all the programs on it. On the first phone call after I told him I needed a new system he asked me what I used so he would know what programs to take off when he set it up. In 2011 I had taken my computer apart because I was getting my carpet done; the carpet cleaners didn't set it back up and everything was tangled. He came over and fixed it and then he continued to advise what types of things I could do with the computer that I had been interested in. I have recommended him to others.
