I contacted Falcon Roofing immediately after purchasing the Big Deal. Glenn was very responsive and pleasant on the phone. He scheduled the work within an acceptable time frame. Falcon Roofing called to confirm the appointment 1 day prior. Glenn showed up on the scheduled day of service and within the scheduled time of 9-11 am. He explained his process for performing the work and that he would take pictures of what he saw on the roof. He immediately performed the inspection. When completed he showed me all of the pictures he took of the roof, gutter, shingles, pipe collars, status of rubber boots, and where he applied the caulking. I was very pleased with Falcon Roofing's services, processes and communication. I would definitely call on Falcon Roofing in the future.

They seemed nice enough, but I only wanted minor repair which I thought the coupon I paid for covered. Several shingles had blown off and I needed them replaced. Didn't think I would have to pay so much for that, but I needed the repair.

Falcon Roofing is the best! I suspected I had a leak in my roof when I started smelling mold after a heavy rain storm this winter. When I called to schedule an inspection - to my dismay - Glenn indicated they would not be able to get to me until April! I explained my situation and that I was extremely concerned about potential mold getting into my heating system, especially with one kid who has asthma. He told me he and his crew would delay their lunch, adjust their appointment schedule, and do the inspection and fix what they found that afternoon. I was astounded! He also reminded me that the next storm was predicted for that evening and breathing air from a musty and damp roof was not a good thing. They came over while I was at work and inspected the roof and determined water was coming in around a flue pipe where there were a few loose nails. They drove the nails back down and sealed around the area with roofing cement. They also inspected the pipe and cover for wear and deterioration. Glen told me the pipe and cover was worn and not rusted away. He also advised that if I saw water in the basement that looked like leaking from my heating ducts - that I should call for HVAC repair. He also indicated the work they did and they cleared the roof of sticks (I could not get - as I'm terrified of heights) - was no extra charge. I rained like a monsoon that evening and the next day we waited for smell of must and dampness - and nothing! I am a very pleased customer. We've had two rain storms (like the heavy one on 27 Jan) and still no dampness.

Overall, I would give them an A. I bought the service to get a second opinion on my roof, which leaks chronically and is almost out of warranty. They showed up on time and were very cooperative about calling me when they were on the way, so that I could come home from work to meet them. They did a thorough inspection, did a few minor repairs, and suggested a few things that I should consider in the future to prevent additional leaks. I would definitely call them if I have roof problems in the future.

They were very thorough. They were flexible when scheduling the appointment. They did not push me to purchase things that I didn't actually need.

Overall the experience was good. Glen and one of his employees initially visited for a $149 roof repair Big Deal to seal cracks in sealing around pipe collars and evaluate the roof. Considering the condition of my roof, I probably should have skipped this big deal and just had them come over for an estimate. The pipe collars were really provided no sealing and were open to the elements, thank goodness the roof wasn't leaking. They recommended I have a bricklayer come check the chimney, just in case a chimney crown or brick replacement was necessary. Getting a bricklayer to perform the check took several weeks. I contacted Falcon for an estimate visit again later, and that is when Glen (the owner) estimated the $1100 repair, helped clean the gutters, and replace some flood lights on the side of the house. A larger Falcon crew came back several weeks later to perform the job. I wasn't there during the repair, but my wife tells me they worked into the night and came back for a second day. I didn't know that the repair was that big. In the end, the pipe collars look new, the chimney flashing was replaced and much higher, and the roof was nice and smooth. All good. Note: Falcon didn't provide a guarantee on the roof, as they couldn't guarantee the previous roof in its condition.

Fine - they inspected my roof and said it is ok.

I found a special on Angie's list for a roof inspection. They found a problem, and they were able to fix it that day. The quality was good, but it was a little expensive.

It was a good experience. He was quite responsive and we were happy that he made recommendations. It took a little while to set up the appointment but after that everything went very smoothly.

He came out when he said he was going to come out and I thought his bid was on the high side. I thought he was very nice but my only complaint was his price. I am unsure whether I will use him in the future or not.

They were okay. They could have been better. They came in and with lot of complaints did the work even though there was nothing. They had to basically just go up the roof and check it and see what was needed. I used them through one of Angie’s List deals and I thought they were expensive because otherwise also I found people who were better than them. I thought they were a little expensive. They knew there was nothing much to be done and it was more of an inspection and there was no need for them to whine about the work that they were contracted for. There was no need for frustration.

Excellent experience. The guys were professional, on time, and knowledgable. They found a couple problems - one that I knew about and one I didn't. They showed me pictures of the issues and we discussed how to deal with them. They did not try to sell anything but instead gave me excellent tips on how to avoid further damage and get the most life out of the existing roof. Down the road, if/when the time comes to replace the roof, no doubt I'll hire Falcon roofing to do so.

We just purchased a Foreclosed property and we noticed that whenever we had a very heavy and windy rain our roof would leak. We originally had one contractor who came out and told us that it may be the ridgevent but until he went up there he wouldn't know. He quoted us a price and stated that he would come back out and inspect the roof to diagnose the problem. We get a call a few weeks later and the contractor stated he had been on our roof and yes it was the ridgevent and that we could set up a time for him to come out and fix it. Well needless to say this was a lie because there was no way that he could have been on our roof without someone noticing it. So when we saw angie's list big deal for a roofing inspection we jumped on it because of the price. The gentlemen from Falcon Roofing couldn't have been anymore professional. They went in and inspected the inside of the roof as well as the outside. The caulked and sealed around the vent openings and even explained what a possible solution was to our problem. I was really impressed with their costumer service and I will definately use them for future business.

It went well. They did an awesome job. They found some missing/broken shingles and luckily they had the same kind in their van, so they replaced them immediately. They were a little late but it didn't matter because they didn't need anyone to be home but they sent me a before and after photo of the repaired area.

The inspection process went very well; I was especially please that the inspector resealed all of the roof penetrations. I was 100% satisfied with this project.

Work went well over all and based on their inspection and work on the roof indicated the roof was in good condition - which was good news to hear. Replacement slate shingles provided blended in well with existing shingles. They recommended work on the chimney cap to be done when weather permits. Overall a good experience and outcome.

They came out at the time they were supposed to. They inspected the roof and I came back with pictures of a few areas that needed repair. I fully expected them to come back and say I needed a new roof but they said it was in good shape and with a few minor repairs should last another 2 or 3 years. They came back a week later and made the repairs.

Used the Angie's List Deal. Got a reminder call the day before and the day of the work. The crew arrived, introducted themselves, asked about a leak I'd mentioned in the initial call, then went up on the roof. They photographed a number of items and caulked the leaking area of the chimney flue and around the base flange, even lifting shingles around it to make sure the edges were properly sealed. They then came back down and showed us before/after pictures, explaining everything and answering any questions.

When cleaning my gutters I noticed that areas of my flat roof were showing some "bubbles" in the material. I called several roofing companies to come out an inspect and help me assess whether I needed any repairs. All the companies were fully booked for 6 weeks or more and we were heading into very cold winter weather - you can't do flat roofs when the weather is too cold and wet. However, Falcon Roofing said they would call me when they were in the area for other jobs, and if I was home and available they would do the inspection then. I agreed, and 3 weeks later they called me. When I had first spoken with them I was not experiencing any leaks in the rain, but just a couple of days before they stopped to inspect the roof I had noticed I was getting some water in when it rained. Their inspection showed that while I should probably replace the flat roof, it was not possible with our moving into winter as the temperatures were already too cold for flat roof materials. They believed it would hold through the winter (assuming no tree branches caused any punctures in the material). However, they also said that the flashings all needed to be resealed, and that was the highest probable source for the water leaks during the rain. They committed to coming back within 3 weeks to seal the flashings, and in fact did so. I have not had any leaks during subsequent rain storms, and will be calling them back for the flat roof repair in the spring. I also need some chimney masonry work done, which will happen at that time. They quoted me a price of $650 for the flashing seals, and that was exactly what they charged.
