I cannot express enough how impressed I am with this company. I have, and will continue, to recommend them to anyone in need of a roofer. They were very professional and thorough from start to finish. They are clearly skilled, reasonable priced, and very efficient. Not only did they do a great job, they went the extra mile and then some. It was evident from the start that Glen is a man of character and trustworthiness. Not only would I enlist his services in the future, he is the type of person you would keep as a life long friend.

I have owned my townhouse for about a year and had originally been told by my inspector at purchase that the roof "would need to be replaced." Hoping to get a little more life out of it and a better idea of how long it may last I wanted a quality roofer to check it out. I had it looked at by a friend of a friend (who owns a roofing company) and was told that there were some trouble spots and it would need some sealing but it could last another year or so. The cost would be their base rate of around $350. Not long after that (a week or so even) I was pleasantly surprised to see the Angie's List Deal to be a roof maintenance package by a well rated area roofer - and for $200 less than my original quote. Well I jumped right on that. I spoke with Glen Schrank who squeezed me in to an early appointment knowing that my roof was original and already had some potential issues. He was very polite and nice on the phone. Then around the time my appointment was coming up I had some family issues that had required me to take quite a bit of time off of work, I was dreading having to take another day off to wait around the house for the roofers. I gave Glen a call and asked him if I really had to be there since they were just going on the roof. We talked over the issues and he made the arrangement to check it out without me there (I didn't have any current leaks). I did have a back up plan if he thought there was real concern and needed to get in. On the day they came out, I got a call saying everything was great, they sealed up some cracks and what could be some potential issues in the future. He told me things to look for, but overall my original roof was still ok for a bit longer (music to my ears!). I plan on calling Falcon Roofing when it comes time to actually replace my roof in the next year or so!

Through an Angie's List Roof Maintenance special, Falcon came out to our house for a yearly maintenance. We has just bought the house and they discovered a number of shingles missing on the back side of our townhouse. They gave us a quote on the spot and scheduled us for a day to come out and do the work. Two guys showed up the day scheduled on time. They were friendly and professional. One of them noticed some debris in out gutter and cleaned that out as well. They also alerted me to our attic fan not turning on. We will likely have them do the work to replace the fan as well. They finished up within a couple of hours. I don't have a ladder to reach the top of our house, so I can't vouch for the quality of the work. The price did seem a little expensive for ~4 hours of work (not sure the material costs) and we didn't have anyone else quote the work, so maybe this is very reasonable. That being said, we will likely have them come back out and do our full roof replacement when the time comes.

What I liked about these company is that they were able to show digital pictures of what's happening up there, our roof is impossible for an ordinary person to climb and someone showing what's really going there is definitely very helpful as opposed to someone just telling you what's wrong.

The two technicians who performed the roof inspection were professional and courteous. They performed a complete inspection of my roof system and were able to diagnose and fix a small roof leak that I informed them about when they arrived. In addition, they found that the gutter on one side of the house was loose and they fixed the problem at no additional charge. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and highly recommend this company.

I was completely satisfied with results. Not only did they perform a complete inspection of my roof, they went the extra mile and put a few shingles that had blown off back in place. Thanks!

Standing in my back yard a couple of days ago, I noticed through the soffit that I could see the sky through a hole in my roof. It appeared to be a small hole, but a hole just the same. I did hope it was a freaky reflection of light, but I signed up for Angie's list and started searching for a roofing company. I called Falcon Roofing and Glenn was responsive and willing to work me in right away. I was nervous about the fact that not only is my roof inaccessible to me, but the jargon and possible problems are not something I know about. Glenn took pictures and let me see what the issues were. He explained potential problems and even pointed out some positives, there was water damage, but there is no mold or rotted wood. (Thank goodness) The comparison of the before and after pictures was really helpful. The hole in the roof caused me some panic, and the fact that rain is predicted on Monday (they came on the weekend to fix this) had me a bit anxious. Glenn and Billy were mindful of the limitations in the townhouse community where I live (not a lot of area to place tools and materials), they were professional, and I have to say it's a pleasure to do business with a company that actually does what they say they are going to do. I recommend Falcon Roofing.

Fantastic. Falcon was very responsive to my initial call and they were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule schedule. They were professional, efficient, and performed quality work. The replacement rafters are much stronger than the other undamaged rafters in my attic. I had previously recommended Falcon to my neighbor (based on Angie's List reviews) and she had been very pleased with their roof repair work as well. We will continue to recommend Falcon, and will definitely use them again if we have future roof-related issues.

Great. They arrived within the time window agreed upon and was very professional. The guys were extra nice with answering all of my questions and letting me know that my issues we minor. I would definitely do business with them in the future.

The package that I had bought had a condition that they would do the inspection for houses with Decks alone. We do not have a deck but we have steps outside to the house. Falcon Roofing used the steps to climb onto the 3 level steep room and not only inspected the roof but also fixed the blown siding vinyl panel. The wait has worked out for me. Thanks for a great job.

They were prompt, polite and professional. There was a minor repair that needed to be done and they took care of it. They also took down an old antenna that was a potential danger to my roof and broke it into smaller pieces so that I could easily discard it, which I appreciated. If I should have roofing issues in the future, I would definitely call them.

I had a great experience with Falcon. They were very professional and courteous. They inspected the roof, fixed few missing nails and sealed around the flashing. They also replaced a missing shingle for free. They did not try to sell anything and advised that my roof is in good condition. If I ever have a problem, I'll be calling them.

Went great. As stated they did what they promised when they promised it and then followed-up. How cool is that?

Finding roofers who specialize in repairing slate roofs is a difficult task. When the Falcon folks came to give us an estimate, we were impressed with the time they took to examine the roof, actually spending several hours climbing on ladders to check on both the front and back of the house, as well as coming inside to look at the ceilings on the second story, taking photos of everything to show us the areas that needed attention. They clearly were experts and exceedingly knowledgeable about the special circumstances involved when working on slate roofs. They also recommended installing a metal flashing along the roof peak which had never been done and was an excellent suggestion to prevent possible future water leakage along the roof line. They started work within just a couple of days, earlier than anticipated, and spent many long hours making the repairs. They were able to do an excellent job of matching the 'new' slates to the existing roof slates, and were conscientious about doing the work in a professional yet friendly and timely fashion. They were careful to avoid any damage to our newly installed gutters as well. It was obvious that they take pride in their work, and the results reflect that. We would definitely recommend Falcon Roofing to anyone in need of slate roof repair.

They were very good. Very prompt in returning my call. They returned the next day and completed the work pretty quickly. They even hauled away the old antennas for me!

Falcon was backlogged because of the coupon response, but we scheduled an appointment for several weeks later. They came, inspected the complete roof, and other than caulking up a couple of nail pops and one small place on the flashing (using way less than one tube of caulk), they pronounced the roof in good shape. They brought to my attention where they saw that a future problem might emerge, but there was nothing to acually replace or repair at this time. They were very professional andit certainly is a company I would use again.

We had trouble finding a date when we could meet, but Glen was great at calling me back. He took lots of pictures, showed me what was wrong, and clearly explained what he was going to do. He also explained what the previous roofer had done wrong and why the rook was leaking. I got an education! The work took a few days, and they left my side year cleaner than when it was when they started.

The owner, Glenn Schrank, was very professional and punctual. He arrived exactly on time, thoroughly checked the roof, replaced some missing nails, and generously repaired a very messy tar application around our chimney that had been applied by another roofer several years ago (unfortunately an Angie's List company). If we experience a leak or need a new roof (hopefully not for 10 years, I will definitely call Falcon.

I ordered on line but was not able to make the appointment for over 2 months. OK if your problem isn't urgent. Showed on time and identified the problem and fixed it. Also replaced a shingle a no charge. Was not upsold and would use them again.

I purchased this "Big Deal" back in August 2010, but had a lot of different personal issues that had my life wrapped up, and I never called to schedule an appointment. By the time I remembered, it was already winter and my "Big Deal" was supposed to have expired. However, much to my surprise... Glenn called ME to schedule an appointment for what I thought was my expired purchase. The actual appointment date was several months out, but that didn't bother me as I knew they were getting a lot of calls for round 2 of their "big deal" inspections. I greatly appreciated him calling me to get me on the calendar. Fast forward to appointment day... they arrived on-time, were extremely professional and courteous. They showed me the flaws in my old roof and dormer-siding, and caulked what they could. Not surprisingly, I was told I need a new roof... something I already knew, given the age/appearance and the occaissional leak. And while Glenn was unable to provide a real quote, given I am not ready to proceed and prices of material fluctuate with the market... he did give me a ballpark figure which will prove helpful in regards to planning how much I need to start saving up. All in all, a great experience with two outstanding, honest guys. This is the type of company that you hope to find upon joining AngiesList! (And as a bonus... standing around outside, I got to see the Discovery fly by three times) :)

Great experience with Falcon. Glen was prompt in returning phone calls and punctual for both the estimate appointment and when they came to perform our repairs. Repairwork looks good and Glen took the initiative to use the few extra shingles from the main repair to replace several other shingles that needed to be replaced. He fully explained the work he would be doing and gave a thorough assessment of the overall state of our roof and siding. The repair work on our leaking dormer required some ingenuity to make an effective repair (it was not sided and shingled properly to begin with). Thanks!

They came. They inspected. They caulked. Very nice. If I ever have a problem, I'll call them.

I wish I could have used these guys! Unsure of who to contact for my exterior/dormer/wood/paint repair work, I contacted Falcon. I quickly received a telephone response. The gentleman admitted that he wasn't sure if this was the type of job they would typically take but that he would drive out and take a look (no thanks to perhaps my poor description!). Surely, within no time, two gentlemen came out and looked at our dormer. I was informed that, unfortunately, this work would not fall under their purview. However, they kindly suggested that I contact an exterior painter, setting me on the right track. Thank you, guys! I really appreciated their effort when, honestly, none was required. They could have simply said no, but they went the extra mile. When it's roof-time, they'll hear from me again!

This was an Angie's list coupon that I bought. It took awhile to get on the schedule because of the huge response to the coupon. No sales pitch or trying to con me into getting work done that maybe I didn't need. They took pictures and told me I had a few years left on the roof and then we discussed radiant barrier pros and cons. I appreciated their honesty and will definitely get a bid from them when it comes time to replace my roof.

Overall the experience was a positive one. This is my first house and I wanted a professional assessment of my roof and what might be needed to be done. The men who came out were professional and the entire job took less than an hour from the time they arrived to the time they left. They assessed my roof as needing to be replaced but they said that they performed maintenance which might (no guarantees) see me through for one more year, which I appreciate. They told me that they have a very long lead-time because of all the work they've gotten through Angie's List, so if you want to hire them, be prepared to wait for a couple months before they can come out.
