During the derecho that hit in late June, my roof vent bent in half due to shoddy construction of the original roof. I purchased the roof inspection deal from Angie's List, and had my husband contact Glenn the next morning. By that afternoon (07/02/12), Glenn and team were out and on the roof to inspect the damage, seal up the exhaust fans and chimney pipe. He took photos and showed us the damage, plus the before and after shots of the sealing they did, and took the time to explain why the roof vent blew up and bent in half (which as I had suspected previously was due to the original builder not nailing the vent into the joists - just the plywood). He wrote up the quote immediately, and assured me they would get us into the schedule as soon as possible (with that massive storm though, I wasn't expecting anything remotely soon). I received a phone call on 07/05/12 from Glenn, saying the work was complete as he had quoted, so my expectations were far exceeded. I highly recommend Glenn and team at Falcon Roofing, they are absolute professionals who go beyond to ensure the best customer experience at competitive prices. In the event we ever need roof repair again due to storms or snow, my first call will be to Glenn and the team at Falcon Roofing!

Owner Glenn Schrank responded immediately to my inquiryl, visited the house, personally checked the roof and talked with me about options We agreed that complete replacement was the right way to go. He gave a fair and reasonable estimate and we accepted it. He set a date, and met it. He was with the crew during the installation, making sure all went correctly including the final cleanup. Throughout the entire process he kept my wife and me fully informed, explained the various options we might consider, and answered all questions. Overall I was impressed by Falcon's professionalism, and was fully satisfied with the work performed. I would not hesitate to recommend Falcon to anyone.

Falcon Roofing was very responsive, they said they would fit us in as soon as possible and they did. They came and assessed what they judged needed doing to our 17 year-old roof, not just to fix the leak but other things they saw when they were up there--replacement of 3 pipe collars, replacing a missing shingle cap, replacing a shingle, and resealing existing chimney flashing. They then came back the next afternoon to do the work. The charge was $675, minus the $50 Angie's list coupon, i.e. $625. Since then we had one downpour of the type that would have resulted in the drip in the past, but nothing dripped. They also called our attention to an issue with our chimney we should address. They noted this was not a roofing issue but they wanted us to be aware of it. We were very happy with our choice of Falcon Roofing.

Excellent experience all around. Glenn was easy to contact and had immediate openings for the service. We did not need to be home for the inspection or the minor repairs performed. Glenn followed up on site and provided feedback as to the condition of the roof and the work performed. He also answered all my questions. We will use Falcon Roofing services again in the future.

We lost a shingle in a windstorm and needed a roofer to evaluate the damage and repair it. Falcon was super responsive. Glenn told us he was working in our neighborhood and would come by that day. He arrived within a couple hours and evaluated and repaired the damage right then. He also advised us on the roof's condition and repaired a gutter that had pulled away from the house. Falcon is now on the top of our list for roofing and for siding and gutter replacement jobs we are considering. Very professional and knowledgeable.

I had a leak last year and wanted to have the roof inspected. They basically checked and everything was order. They caulked up a leak near one of the vents. Were very professional, took pictures and told me about what they saw etc. They were a bit backlogged so when scheduling the appointment I got was a few months down the road. Overall they seemed to be honest and professional

Two-man crew, including owner, arrived on time and immediately went onto roof, patched where necessary and then advised me that I had some more life in the roof before replacement is necessary. They were extremely professional, courteous and thorough. I appcreciated their honestty above all, no hard sell for a service that I didn't need.

The guys arrived within the window given. They got right to work. Our roof is large and on 3 levels with not much pitch. They climbed all over the 3 levels. Photos were taken of the roof and several of the problem areas. A quote given for the chimney repairs. We are now on the list when that work will be done. Advice was offered on what to do to extend the life of the roof for a few more years. The guys were polite and honest in their assessment. I would have them come back for any future roofing work.

Scheduling an appointment to perform work took longer than expected but company was professional and appeared to do excellent work.

After we noticed water stains on our vaulted ceiling, upstairs, we called several roofing companies to come out to assess the problem, and provide us with estimates for the repairs. Falcon responded within hours of our initial request for an assessment and came out that day. They took numerous pictures of the roof, and provided us with detailed explanations for what repairs were needed, and why, using the photographs to support their assessment. Other companies came to the similar conclusions about the repair work that needed to be done, but Falcon was the only one who provided the quality pictures, and was willing/able to perform the repair work within several days of the initial consultation. They were also extremely reasonably priced for the work they performed and refused to use lesser-quality products. The roofers were very friendly and professional, and take pride in their work. Of note, 24 hours after the work was performed, a storm came through the area (a Friday night), boasting 80mph winds. Our skylights were ripped off during this storm, leaving gaping holes in our roof, where the skylights should have been. After placing a panicked call to Falcon, the next day, they were on our roof within hours, assessing the damage, providing a quality temporary fix and promising an estimate for skylight replacement on Monday. While it is not yet Monday, and therefore the actual installation has not yet been performed, I was extremely impressed by the immediate response we received from this company, and have no doubt that the work they will be doing will be quality work within budget. Also worthy of note - the ridge vent they installed prior to the storm was completely undamaged - proof of their high quality craftsmenship.

At every point of communication, Falcon Roofing was a pleasure to deal with. They kept their appointment, were on time, called to confirm the day before, were professional and did not take advantage of us. I will definitely deal with them again.

Glenn called me the night before to confirm our appointment and gave me an hour time frame to show up and he did! It was nice not to be stuck with a wait time of several hours. Cleaned up after themselves before ey left.

We bought $149 for a Roof Maintenance Package. Glen is very responsive return my call and set up an appointment to come out and do the inspection on the roof. He explained to me in very detail on the issues with my roof. He goes beyond what the package allowed. He caulked about 50 nails that pop up and around the Chimney. He told me that the roof may need to be replace in couple years and that I should look out the the leaking going inside. Overall, it was a good experiences. I will definitely use them in the future.

Top rated service. Glenn came to the site with another individual roughly on time and they asked for any existing problems. They both were knowledgeable with what they are doing and are very much responsive to all your questions and doubts.I would sure recommend them for any of my friends and well wishers. I have a leak in my roof, which a previous handyman charged me (but failed) to fix. I'm planning to replace it soon anyway, so I used the Angie's List Big Deal to have Falcon come out and perform an inspection and spot repair. Glenn was prompt and responsive in scheduling the appointment, and he showed up in the designated window. He introduced himself and his co-worker Bill and explained what they'd be doing. About 15 minutes later, Glenn came back down to show me pictures: the hole in my roof directly over the leaking area, which had somehow been missed by the earlier repairman, plus the tar that had been slathered up there instead. He explained that he would patch the hole, but that the combination of the tar and the poor condition of the roof overall would call for replacement soon. He gave me a ballpark estimate of the cost to replace, and we also discussed powered attic fans.Overall, I was very impressed.

I had a leak in my roof and was having difficulty finding someone to fix it. I bought an Angie's List Big Deal ($149 for "roof maintenance package".) When I called to make an appointment, they didn't have any openings for 2 months. However, the man I spoke with (Glen, the owner) told me to call if the leak got worse before then. Glen showed up right on time, assessed the problem, and told me the repair was outside of the scope of the "Big Deal" thing (which I was kind of expecting). He was friendly and professional. He gave me an estimate for $865 and asked for half as a deposit. I would pay the other half when the work was completed. He told me he would get out as soon as he could to do the work but it might be a couple of days. He called me later that day and told me he could come out the next day. I had to work, but I left a check and the job was done when I got home. I have not had any leaks since. Three side notes. 1. I gave a B for price because I'm not sure how this price compares. I'd had several people out and the only person I got to actually get up on the roof never came back to fix it. By this point I just wanted it fixed and I didn't get any more estimates. 2. I asked Glen if I should have the whole roof replaced (and, honestly, I would have spent the $$ if he recommended it) and he told me I had another 10 - 15 years before I needed a new roof. So, he's pretty honest. 3. I asked about replacing the louvre vent in my attic which was housing a family of birds at the time. He told me that Falcon Roofing would not remove any occupied birds' nests. Which, I thought was pretty awesome.

Pretty simple. I bought the deal to have my roof looked at because I've had a few minor problems over the last 2 years and I just wanted to make sure everything was safe and sound now. They said everything on my roof looked good but when they looked at the small roof above my bay window they saw some small nail holes that needed to be caulked. I'm not sure if they normally would have checked this little roof but I had raised concern about a possible leak. Either way, they re-caulked it for me and I haven't had a problem since. I had one concern that I contacted them about after the fact and Glenn (the owner) came out right away and got up on the roof and verified everything was good. When he was up there, he offered to take down my old satellite dishes and patch the shingles that were damaged. He even took the dishes with him when he left. The deal is great value and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have major issues but might have just some minor things that could be fixed under the fixed price. In the end, I am very satisfied and happy with the work they did and the customer service they provided.

My roof was checked by Falcon Roofing. They are punctual, professional and easy to talk to. It turned out that the vent pipe was not properly sealed by my builder. Glad I finally that problem solved and done.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for a winter roof maintenance package from Falcon Roofing and was expecting only a thorough inspection for that price. My roof is old and I cannot replace it now but wanted to make sure it was not leaking anywhere. Glenn and Scotty inspected the roof, corrected some minor problems, removed some nails that had rusted and even replaced a section of shingles (normally a $700 job) for the price of the coupon! I don't have to tell anyone who will be replacing my roof when the time comes. One good deed deserves another. Thank you Falcon Roofing and thank you Angie's List.

The Angie's List offer was so popular that by the time I got around to calling and scheduling my service (which I did delay several weeks) it took a few months to get an appointment, but they came as scheduled and did their initial package service. They successfully caulked my leaky skylights, and caulked my chimney flashing that was found to need maintenance during my initial home inspection. Even changed a few flood light bulbs for me that were very high up. I had been having a hard time finding someone available for such a small job so this deal was great for me. While they were there I had them look at a leak I had recently found in my front entranceway but the advice was to clear the tree debris and see what happened. The roof had been modified at some point and the change created a flat portion of the roof which isn't the greatest design so it caused some issues. Anyway, removing the debris didn't help so I called them back later for an estimate on a real repair. When I later found the actual drip in the attic they came back and did a full repair replacing some shingles and mixing in the new and old to be less noticeable, as well as installing ice and water shield to hopefully prevent issues until I have to replace the whole roof next time in about 10 years or so. At that time maybe I can get that part of the roof sloped a little better. So far so good. I had requested a chimney cap repair when I set the original appointment on the Angie's List deal but they didn't do that until after the Angie's List service when we could talk about the job in person. They do them in batches with other homeowners so that the equpiment gets installed on their truck for a couple of days, so once we talked it was a couple of weeks until they got to it but when they did they came as scheduled and even removed an unused satellite dish from my chimney for me while they were up there. It was in their way anyway, but I had wanted it down so this was good. Overall, they seemed honest, and their statement of work showed a real intent to make certain that their repairs lasted so the homeowner didn't have future issues. From a quality standpoint I would use them again.

I choose Falcon Roofing to take advantage of the $149 Inspection Coupon they were offering. I called their number and received a return phone call from Glenn that afternoon. He scheduled my inspection approx. 2 weeks out which I thought was pretty soon considering the offer they had out there.The night before the schedule date Glenn called me to let me know an approximate time he would be there. I told him that I knew foul weather was ahead, so just let me know if the schedule needs to change. There is a lot of rain overnight and it was raining again today. Glenn and Billy showed up right on time. It was raining when they got there. I asked if they wanted to postpone but they took a quick look a water spot I had on my upstairs ceiling. Glenn went up into myattic and quickly spotted the problem. He identified it as wind blown water that made it through the crack. He said it would be an easy fix.They informed me that the rest of the work would be outside and that I was free to go to work. They said they were going to get a bite to eat and return when the rain let up which I was perfectly fine with.Sure enough they returned a half hour later (I was still home). Despite the rain he and Billy proceeded to inspect and caulk my roof.A few hours later Glenn called me and went over the list of work that he performed as well as updating me on the current condition of my roof.I wasn't pleasantly surprised when he told me there was two vent pipes that were never fashioned to the roof. They had simply been laid under the shingles. Glenn fastened to the roof for me. I knew this wasn't part of the deal, but he said he did "because he couldn't just let stay that way". I am a contractor myself and it is really great when a company treats their clients like this. My overall experience with Falcon was top notch. After completing the inspection, Mr. Schrank (Glenn) discussed frankly with us what he and his partner (Billy) noted as improper shingling of the roof. They both explained clearly and demonstrated the proper method of shingling that should have been used. We now have the information that we need to discuss with the contractor, who had responsibility for the roofing job, what needs to be done to fix the incorrect shingling, providing us with what we had expected in having a new roof installed.

Great, no complications, I received good service from the Angie's list coupon. They gave us good information on the condition of the roof and completed minor repairs.

I bought a Winter Maintenance Package using the Angie's List Deal. I waited until fairly late in the period to try to schedule the inspection and as might be expected since it was spring time this company was fairly busy. However, they gave me an appointment within a few weeks (I did not have what any one considered any urgency) and absolutely honored the "Deal" despite the expiration. I did call to verify the appointment the prior day and it was confirmed plus the arrival window was narrowed which allowed me to plan better. The team arrived on time and provided quick and satisfactory service. The pictures and expert advice as described in the "services performed section" were very valuable. The only reason I rated the responsiveness as less than an "A" was that it did take several weeks to get an appointment but I would like to emphasize that I had no urgency and a Maintence "Deal" should not have the same scheduling priority as a repair in my opinion. Overall he was both professional and personable. He provided clear and substantiated explanations for his recommendations.More than worth the investment. I would anticipate using them in the future.

I'm always leery of contractors, because we've all heard the stories, but Glenn's approach and professionalism made me feel comfortable. My roof is almost 14 years old, so in the event I have any future roofing issues, Falcon Roofing will be my preferred contractor.
