Great service

I've referred them to many people. They always send good people. My animals always love them.

For four of the five years that I've had dogs, I had the benefit of a trusted neighborhood family to walk my dogs Monday through Friday.  First, the teenage boy did it until he went off to college, and then his sister took over.  And last fall she went off to college as well.  So I had been spoiled with dedicated walkers and was faced with finding a service to use.  

I work in Rosslyn and have a rough commute from Centreville, and a lot of days I don't get home until at leas 7 or 8.  So I needed to find someone consistent and secure who would treat my dogs as I treat them.  I researched a few services in the area, and Doodlebug seemed the best suited to my needs.  I've seen comments that they might seem pricey, but in comparison with other ones I reviewed the price isn't bad.  I pay $19.25 for a 30 minute visit which includes walking both of my dogs together.  There is no extra fee for my second dog.   It's of course not as good as my teenager rate of $15, but no service can do that.  :-) They try to keep a primary walker for my dogs that I'm able to meet before hand and only have sub walkers when the primary isn't available.  And they always send me the sub walker profile and give as much advanced notice as possible  And the thing that I really like is that they have a checkin/checkout process where I receive emails that tell me the dog walker was there and at which times.  This provides a lot of peace of mind as I'm working that I know they've been looked in on.  And then the walker always leaves detailed notes about the visit.  

About the walkers themselves...I should preface this to explain that I have two rescues.  I have an 8 year old 100 lb part Akita girl, and a 3 year old 60 lb part something boy.  They have a lot of energy, and I haven't been the best leash trainer with walking them together.  I have just gotten used to their power and how to keep them in line.  The service does try to take all of that into account to assign a walker, but sometimes you just have to experience it first to understand.  The first walker they assigned was extremely sweet and tried her best, but I don't think that she was ever comfortable walking the dogs together.  They were too big for her.  She ended up leaving the company, but I had planned on suggesting finding another match.  The second walker seemed to do better with them, but she wasn't there long because she had to switch to easier dogs due to her personal situation.  Now we've had Carlyn for I think 4 months now and she's been great.  I work from home on occasion and have talked to her a few times.  I think she struggled with them for a while in the beginning, but she always asked for tips or provided her own suggestions.  I much more appreciate that than her suffering in silence.  I'm always open to discuss how to make this work better for the dogs.  And I've heard from neighbors that they see her running with them from time to time which I know they enjoy.  I feel a lot better at work knowing that they're spending time with someone who seems to enjoy them and their personalities.  She even came up with the nickname for them that I had never even thought of, but I use now too.  :-)  So I'm hoping that she'll be around for a while.

In the end I would recommend this service, but just expect as with anything that you might have a trial and error period finding a good match for the dogs.  But in my opinion the service is really responsive to help figure that out.  The next time that I go out of town I will most likely try out their dog sitting service as well.

Doodlebug is absolutely fabulous!   Because of some medical issues we needed someone to help us during the day with our dog/s.   My daughter recommended Doodlebug & she was so right!

Our dog walker, Stacia, was absolutely fantastic!!!   After about a week our dog would be watching out the window for her to arrive & take her for a wonderful, & much needed, walk.

This was the third time I used Doodlebug for the care of my dog. They are extremely professional and competent in their services. My dog is my baby and needs a little special care as she is almost 13 years old. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing that she was being well cared for and getting lots of love. I would highly recommend them.

I use Doodlebug to provide mid day dog walks.  I usually only need service one day a week.  When I became their client, in the very first week, I had an emergency out of town and needed them to come every day.  They provided that service, calling me back within minutes to let me know that the walker would come every day.  I had several more out of town emergencies and each and every time, Doodlebug came through for me.  I've had the same walker for at least 6 months now and my dogs love her.  She is GREAT.
I have to change my schedule often, changing the day that I need them, again they have come through for me.

They were great.   The reservation was very easy to make and the price was extremely reasonable for three dogs.  This is the second time that we've used them and both times we've been very, very happy.  They keep the dogs on the schedule that we set, which has always been our problem.  Doodlebug showed up when they said they would and spend the entire time with our dogs, walking them and playing with them.  We even had a small issue this time with our dog walker hurting her back and they quickly provided a new walker and a full profile.  We've been thrilled with Doodlebug and will use them again in the future.

Doodlebug is the most professional and friendly dog walking service I have ever used. They came to the house at the scheduled time and answered all of our questions concerning taking care of our brand new puppy! Once we confirmed our schedule they were always on time and took amazing care of our puppy! He had walks, play time, cuddles and treats at each and every visit. If you want people who care for your fur baby you can't have a better service than Doodlebug. I highly recommend their services.

They are so organized, and very responsive if you need your dog walked.  The walkers sign in and out with a stamp, so you know how much time they spent with your dogs. They also write paragraphs about what occurred on the walk. Price is the same for 1dog vs. 2, and I appreciate. They're very professional.

Doodlebug Dog Walker LLC They are very easy to work with.  Very flexible.  They communicate well, like it they have to send somebody different than they normally send.  They take care of your dog and they let you know.  I use them every day.  They charge $ 18 a day for thirty minutes basically.

I used Doodlebug when I got a new puppy and needed mid-day dog visits and walking services. They were fantastic! They left a detailed log every day of my puppy's adventures. They even sent me a picture of my cat once because he was being silly and adorable. I love Doodlebug dog walker and recommend them to everyone I meet!

They are awesome.  I pay $18 for 30-minute visit.  They make sure everybody has water because I have a really long commute and during the day, I don't have anybody that can care for them.  They care for the animals just like their own.  Every single day, they have a log to write down everything that happens.  They can give information that I need and I can give them information that they need.  It is awesome.  They have been really helpful for me.  They provide extended services, but I haven't used the extended services where they would come and stay in my house.  If one has to go away on a weekend, they actually can come in for 3 to 4 times a day if one needs them to.  They do all kind of services.  They are very caring.  They check the customer out when they take them as a client.  They access the animals.  They come in and visit the location.  They have someone from the office to visit the location.  They do background checks on their staff, so I am not afraid to have them in the house.  I am very happy with it.  They are referred to me by a friend who works with me, so if I get to recommend them to anybody else would be great.  If I email them with a concern, I hear back in 15 minutes.  It is insane that how attentive they are and how customer service oriented they are.
