We were concerned about some cracks in the drywall. The representative arrived right on time, took a look, assured us that we had nothing to worry about, and refused to charge us. Very much appreciated the service and professionalism.

Mr. Stable inspected the foundation areas of concern and assured me that I didn't need to do anything at the present time. This was quite a relief after the previous inspection.
If I ever do need foundation work I will definitely call Stable Foundations.

The floors on the main level are sunken on one side of the house. I am purchasing this property in order to renovate. My main concern is that I do not want to buy a house with expensive structural repairs. So, I call "Stable Foundations" to take a look at the house to tell me the extent of the problem.
Mr. Thrift from Stable Foundation arrived the next day to provide a free assessment of the problem. Mr. Thrift observed the sloping floors on the main level and when into the basement to assess the problem. He did NOT bring a flashlight so we used my cell phone as his light. I told him before he came that this was a vacant property. He pointed out one of the piers that seemed to be lower that the other 2 piers. He said that I would have to jack-up the lower pier to correct the floor sloping on the main level. He made me aware that raising the pier would cause wall cracking on the upper stairs.
I said great, how much and when can you start. Mr. Thrift then said, "I do not this type of work?" Really... The reviews on Angie's list appeared to show that this is EXACTLY the work that he does. I asked him the direct question, is the house structurally sound. He said yes, just needs one pier jacked-up, besides a few cracked walls, no bid deal. I asked would he put his assessment in writing.
"NO WAY, I'm not an engineer, just a guy with a lot of experience looking at foundations"
My contractor has looked at the foundation and brought a flashlight. He showed me that the beam on top of the piers is cracked and needs to be replaced before you can start leveling the piers.
For me, a cracked foundation beam is a structural problem. Not happy at all with my experience with this "Stable Foundations"

My experience with Stable Foundations has been totally positive. Every appointment was kept on time, all phone calls and emails were answered promptly. The work was performed exactly as described in their proposal and was done in a neat and workman like manner. Disturbance to my yard was minimal, and the crew left the site as clean and as orderly as they found it. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others.

Was very pleased with the estimate and the installation. Kavie Thrift was very professional in his explanation of the process. The crew that was sent to do the job arrived on time. They were professional as well and I was very comfortable talking to them about the process as they installed the piles. They were very neat and careful.. They cleaned up afterward so well that you couldn't really tell were they had dug around the foundation. I was amazed at how quickly and cleanly the process was handled. Would recommend Stable Foundation to any home owner needing this type of service.

They made sure to tell us that we didn't need some of the work that other companies said we needed. The workers were friendly and knowledgeable. They charged a fair amount. They also recommended us to another company for further work we needed.

We are very pleased with Stable Foundations LLC. We like the man we deal with. We had considerable work done 10 years ago underneath the house, and we want to have some additional work done. It is very complicated, but he was very accommodating when we asked him to come back and he was right over here. So they are extremely accommodating and they certainly stand behind their work. And if somebody would ask us for a recommendation, we certainly would. Their work is warrantied for 10 years and they were following up on a warranty issue. They did a foundation repair and a pier repair then.

I got a quote from Stable Foundations through the phone after Kavie went to look at my house. The quote was competitive with other services I had looked and it did come with lifetime warranty.
The work was performed quickly and cleanly. It was just a 2 person team, but they worked quickly and you could see that this was their specialty. When digging to get to the foundation, they made sure that my grass was protected from the mechanical digger and also from the dirt being dug up.
The one thing to be aware is that Stable Foundation only puts in the pilers to support the foundation, but they don't repair the cracks. You need to find a brick mason on your own to do that (cosmetic work). It is there plainly stated in contract, but I just want to make sure people are aware.
Overall, recommended.

We saw space between top of chimney and side of house. Called for an estimate. They came within a day or two. Sent a written estimate of cost and precisely what they would install to align the chimney. Recommended adding moisture to area at base of chimney which helped to close the space before the work was done. The job took about a half a day. They replaced the soil and mulch that were moved to insert the helical piers. Very successful outcome.

Very good experience. Prompt scheduling. Workers were polite and knew their business. Great overall job. You'd never known they were here.

I was very happy with them and their price and service. They were very good people to work with and they did a good job in basically two days. It was a foundation repair and they put everything back to the way it was. They put piers down in the ground and cranked them up to raise the building a little bit. I got a bid from another service provider who was considerably more expensive. Their bid was $15000 but they were going to do more work like putting in beams and also some of the piers. They also seemed technically more knowledgeable about what needed to be done but I felt like only the piers would do the trick so I went with Stable Foundations. They were responsive and professional. I believe they did the job well but it was one those things that was underground so hopefully the house will not crack like happened in the past.
