This is a company that exhibits all of the best qualities one could hope for in a service provider - quickly assessing the extent of the damage; recommending a plan of action to address only necessary actions (not up-selling expensive, unnecessary steps); competently, promptly and reliably performing the services; and exercising great care and integrity in the performance of services.

An adorable black squirrel that had become a source of joy to our family decided to try to try to move into our house. We were very attached to the little fellow, but did not appreciate the holes that he was gnawing in the wood trim or the tears in our window screens that he was creating with his little squirrel claws. We also feared that he would find his way into the attic and start chewing on electrical wiring. With great sadness, we knew that he needed to be relocated before further damage was done. We called a couple of companies recommended on Angie's List that came to the house, and, without fully assessing the extent of the damage caused by the squirrel or determining whether or not the squirrel had entered the attic, they recommended attaching gutter guards, which would have been expensive and would not necessarily have solved the immediate problem. Then we called on Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services. The owner showed up promptly, took pictures of areas where the squirrel had been spotted, determined that the squirrel had made its way into a soffit box, but not into the attic, and proposed a very reasonable, targeted solution. He and his associate set a trap for the squirrel and, once trapped, took great care to relocate it to another area where it could safely find another home. They subsequently repaired the damage that the squirrel had caused to the soffit box and roofing at the top of our 3-story house. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a reliable, humane and reasonably priced solution for wildlife removal and related damage repair.

I had trouble falling asleep for two nights because I heard something scratching around in the attic.   I called Veteran Pest, and Morgan was at my house the next morning.   He looked around the outside of the house for where the animal may have gotten in, and then spent a fair amount of time inspecting the attic.  While I was guessing it was a squirrel, he said he was only seeing evidence of mice.  He pointed out some mice droppings on the attic insulation, which I'd not noticed before.
He answered all my questions, including on other pest-related topics.   He laid out his recommended strategy, which seems logical.   I haven't decided yet on whether to go forward with his service, or whether to try to tackle the problem myself.   But I got so much value and information just from the free estimate that I decided to write a review.   I found him to be professional, personable and knowledgeable.

After hearing scratching/gnawing noises coming
from inside the wall of an upstairs bedroom, I contacted Veteran Pest &
Wildlife.  After an initial confusion
about the date of the appointment, Morgan came out, identified the "beast
in the wall" (my words) as probably a squirrel or possibly a rat and
inspecting the outside of the house found the entry point (a damaged part of
the roof line at the gutter).  He
returned with an assistant, determined the beast was not in residence when they
were here and sealed the access point to prevent it from getting back in.  The wall has been quiet since then.  They also put out bait for rats and mice in
the attic and outside around the house and sealed an opening where mice were
probably getting in the house.

We had no idea what was digging under our front steps but our front pavers were sinking and nothing my husband tried was working.  We called Veteran Pest & Wildlife and they set up a humane trap in our bushes.  The first skunk was a surprise and he got it to his truck without it spraying.  He said there maybe another skunk and he got the second one to his truck without it spraying too.  The opossum he called opportunistic because it probably just went in the empty skunk nest.  It took about a week to catch everything.  These guys were worth every penny.

great job -- kept at it until the job was complete -- bill was approximately half of what two other companies quoted and they kept the traps at the house until no more evidence of the problem existed.  Arrived promptly/set traps/followed up via phone calls/reset traps every few days/removed animals in a very timely manner after trapping...bottom line great job from start to finish!

Contacted Veteran Pest and wildlife to clear a vent that birds were using as a nest and put covers on all vents.  It was on my tenants property.  They did a pretty good job and my tenants and I are happy by the results. 

Appointment was scheduled for 9-10a. Morgan called at 9:45a to explain he was running late, and asked if we could adjust the time.
When he arrived at the home, he was very professional, courteous & friendly, and began treating the home interior & exterior.
I like that they provided me with a list of the chemicals used for the service, and that they keep these records on file for a year.
Morgan was also able to provide addtional details on an insect that I had been seeing in the backyard, and he noted that he would come back on a dry day to treat the area (no additional cost).
Was very pleased with the service, and I signed up for quarterly service at my home.

Dealing with Veteran Pest and Wildlife Services was a delight.  I established contact on a Friday to discuss the services required.  I was able to get an appointment the following Tuesday.  Morgan and his assistant were on time, very polite and very thorough.  They didn't try to sell me additional services and even removed the bee's nest without charging me!  I cannot recommend this company enough!

PROFESSIONAL !  To be a professional you must be timely; a**** the problem; inform the customer what needs to be done; provide a fair price; and provide quality service.  Morgan, owner, Veteran Pest Control, met all these criteria.
When Morgan arrived, he went into the attic, assessed the problem (free estimate) and to my surprise, provided me with a video showing the required work.  He explained the materials that would be used to prevent future incursion by the squirrel.  He provided me with a firm fixed price and performed the work on time and to my ultimate satisfaction.  In addition, he also provided a video showing the work performed so could verify that the work was correct and as agreed to. 
It is a pleasure working with Morgan.  In the future, if I have any pest issues, Veteran Pest Control would be my "go to" vendor.

I was having issues with raccoons in my garage ceiling. Morgan came out and inspected the whole property and immediately noticed the entry point. Morgan put a total of two traps and the raccoon was caught in less than two weeks. Morgan is very knowledgeable, very punctual and very professional.The best part is Morgan worked with us on the repairs that needed to be done. He had his crew tear down the garage ceiling, changing the insulation, put up new drywall and painted not only the ceiling but the garage walls. Morgan also inspected the attic to make sure there were no raccoon damage. His crew went beyond my expectations. Once the repairs were done, the garage looked like new. I highly recommend Morgan to anyone that needs any sort of pests removed.

Morgan was great to work with and did everything we needed quickly and professionally. From my first call, late on the Friday after Thanksgiving just to leave a message, when Morgan called back almost immediately, I knew I had found the right company to help us. He was knowledgeable and pleasant during the call and we scheduled an appointment for the following week. Morgan arrived at our home promptly at the appointment time and quickly went to work identifying our problem. He found the entry point for the animal and while he was providing us a plan and cost for getting rid of it, he heard the animal scratching and identified it as a squirrel. Morgan then went out and set 3 traps that would not hurt the animals, but were very effective. The first day, the squirrels were able to take the bait (peanut butter) without springing the traps. We called Veteran and they came out the next day, replaced one trap, added another trap, and rebaited them. The next day, we caught 2 squirrels, one on the roof right by the entry point. The squirrels were fine, just walking around in the cage, trying to figure out how to get out. Morgan came out quickly, took the squirrels away, and set different traps. He didn't hurt the squirrels, but just relocated them. After a few days, he called to check to see if we were hearing any noise. He called back in about a week and when we still hadn't heard anything, he scheduled a time to come back out and get the traps and close the entry point.. Morgan didn't take any money until he had completed the job and made sure we were completely satisfied. The cost was exactly what he had quoted.

I've been having issues with sounds and noises at night.  A roof inspector pointed out a hole and potential entry point for pests.  Morgan came out and inspected my whole property.  He advised that there may have been raccoons in the past but there wass no evidence that they were still around.  Still, I opted to pay the expense of having traps laid down.  He came out and checked in on them every couple weeks but nothing was ever caught.  Morgan is very knowledgeable and easy to contact.  Professional and punctual whenever scheduling appointments.  Highly recommend to anyone that needs any sort of pests removed.

I was very happy with the responsiveness and service I received by Veteran Pest and Wildlife. Morgan and his assistant came out as agreed and performed an analysis of my attic and roof line, provided a clear explanation of the problem and what to do if any follow-up is needed. I will definitely use them again, if needed. A positive experience in every way!

Before calling Veteran's, we contacted two other pest control companies (one which we had worked with three times before), but they never returned our calls and/or emails.  Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services called before they came and let us know when we could expect them.  Morgan and Justin were wonderful to work with.  Justin sprayed and removed the wasp nest, and cleaned up any debris that had fallen on the ground. Morgan treated the attic for the suspected critters (evidence of mice), and performed an outside termite inspection. 
We found Morgan and Justin to be very professional, responsive, honest, responsible, and extremely nice.  The price was reasonable as well. We plan to use them for yearly inspections.  So glad we found them.  Highly recommend!   We are also happy to be supporting a veteran-owned business!

We have had a problem with squirrels in our attic. Two years ago, Veteran's Pest Control came out and took care of the problem and gave me a 5 year warranty. Sadly the squirrels just came back and so did Veteran's Pest Control. Very responsive, reliable, efficient and honest.

I've used large pest control companies before, for single service and ongoing maintenance, and I have never been satisfied.  The last straw was when I was billed for "pest control" around the perimeter of my house, after an early snowfall (yes, they sprayed the snow). Obviously, the quality of service very often depends on those who administer it. This time I wanted a small, local, preferably family owned business with a knowledgeable, environmentally conscious owner and staff and a reputation for reasonably priced, high quality service. After researching multiple companies on Angie's List, I settled on Veterans Pest and Wildlife Services to tackle a very active yellow jacket nest that was hidden behind a retaining wall. 
I am delighted to report that my research paid off - Morgan Jones (owner) and his associate were terrific - prompt, courteous, friendly, informative and professional. They assessed the situation, suited up, and sprayed a powder that within two days deactivated the yellow jacket hive and (an added bonus) several carpenter bee nests; the cost ($125) was less than what others had quoted. There was no pressure to sign up for additional services, though Morgan easily answered my questions on routine maintenance for mosquitos and ticks. A week later Morgan called and asked if I had seen any further activity.  When I checked, I noticed several stray yellow jackets trying to establish or revive the hive in a new entrance behind the retaining wall.  VPWS came out the next day and took care of it, at no charge (they give a 30 day guarantee).
I am completely satisfied with my experience - VPWS gets an A+ rating in my book.  I plan on using them in the future to tackle ticks, mosquitos, and any unwelcome wildlife pests.  P.S. Attention folks in Loudoun County!! We are #1 in the state for Lyme disease, and I have gotten it twice working in my yard, despite my precautions.  So spraying for ticks/mosquitos is a no brainer, imo, and well worth the cost.

Morgan was very professional and knowledgeable.  The raccoons were all trapped over a 2 week timespan.  After all of the raccoons were out, Morgan sprayed the raccoon's living area to eliminate residual adverse effects of the raccoons.
