Silver Eagle Group is a state of the art training facility, which offers three modern indoor shooting ranges, consisting of two 25 yard ranges and a 50 yard range with ten lanes each. Silver Eagle Group has an extensive retail section offering firearms, ammunition, rentals, and accessories. Gunsmith services are available for weapon cleanings, repairs and customizations. SEG also offers a dynamic variety of courses from beginner to advanced, that are held on a monthly basis.

The Silver Eagle range is probably the nicest indoor range in the local Northern Virginia area. Much better than the NRA or Blue Ridge Arsenal ranges. Ranges are clean, well lit, and well managed. Staff is polite, informative, and responsive if there are problems. The range has a wide variety of firearms to rent (although I've never taken advantage of this). The facility has 2 10 point 25 yard ranges and 1 50 yard range. They also feature a variety of firearm training programs (which I've never used). Firearm sales are also available, but having not purchased anything there I'm not sure of the pricing or availability. The group does seem to focus more on tactical types of firearms and training than target shooting. The range is family friendly from what i can tell as I have seen a number of families with children there.

Price is a little on the higher side, but the facilities and staff are excellent. I am a repeat customer here and have always had a positive experience.

I attended the first session (day 1) of a two-day basic defensive shotgun user course at the Silver Eagle Group shooring range in Ashburn, VA. It was very dissapointing and disorganized. The first day was all classroom lecture (even though we were told to rent shotguns and hearing protection), and had nothing to do with defensive shotgun or shooting at all. The training consisted of "stories" and "attiude" training. It was odd.
I contacted the manager. He said mine was the only negative feedback he had received which I found hard to believe. I did not bother to go back for the second session.
In my opinion, it was a total waste of time and money.
