He didn't contact me until a few hours before the scheduled appointment. He wanted to push the appointment later (so he wouldn't be late), but he arrived on time anyway. Seemed knowledgeable, but the cost ($450) for the information received was not worth it in my opinion. He didn't even have any contractors he could recommend to do the work that he suggested needed to be done.

He was great, professional, on time, got the job done.

I had service 4 days ago and even after a reminder call, I haven't yet received my report or receipt of a cash payment. I know... at any rate, although he stated I had no structual problems, I paid over $400 and would like to receive formal documentation stating this. Value? I appreciate his expertise but hard to swallow a large cash figure to look at cracks which turn out to be bad drywall work. He was very professional however.

The engineer showed up without a ladder. I would have thought that since the work was assessing if a wall was load bearing based on roof structure, that he woud have brought a ladder to get into the attic loft. We just bought the home and moved from a condo so we did not have one, which was a bit frustrating. But the expetise was spot on and he gave a full detailed report that I was able to submit to the city planners when applying for my permit. Very happy with the quality of work. Just bring a ladder next time....

Although the basic requirement was met -- to provide an unbiased view of a issue with my home's foundation and waterproofing, it was clear that the individual was in a hurry and was not interested in providing a thorough review of issues. He did not send me the report until I reminded him, and it was thin. Also, he did not reply to a follow up question.

He came out promptly after we had storm damage. He promptly submitted a report. Maybe my expectations were off, but to me the report seemed to be vague, not clearly evaluating the damage. Perhaps that was all that was possible, but I expected a more definitive evaluation.

Unfortunately the report I needed for a home buyer's piece of mind did address the structural integrity of my home, but it was full of several statements denying liability for his claim of a sound structure. While I understand the need for disclaimers in any industry, an engineering report that says "it's good, but don't hold me to it" doesn't help anyone. I lost the sale. SES did refund part of my fee at my request.

The engineer arrived on time and answered all of my questions even after I received the final report. You can tell that the engineer was very knowledgable. Everything was completed in a timely manner. This is an expensive undertaking, which is why I gave 4.5 for value for money.

The engineer was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, . In fact he had a PhD. I was in good hands. Great value for the money!!! I am very satisfied.

He was prompt and the eport was sent to me within 24 hours. He was very through in looking at the property. I would hire again.
