Salon Rovina

I have been going there for several years. I've always gotten a style with the cut. They listen to the customer. They're very particular about who they have work on hair, and they watch. My hair has to be styled in a very certain way to not be awful. If Royston, who is one of the owners, doesn't do it himself and lets someone else start blow-drying it, he's on it if they're not doing the right thing. I like their attention to detail and their knowledge of the customer and the customer's hair.

Well. She fixed a bad cut I got somewhere else and did a decent job.

A disappointing experience. The salon opened late, and no one acknowledged me (a new customer) for 10 minutes, since Rovina herself was late. Meanwhile, two regular customers were greeted warmly and seated with a hair dresser.
I have difficult hair -- two cowlicks, fine but thick -- and came to Rovina because, after six months, I had finally given up on my previous hair dresser. I brought photos of myself with a good haircut to show what I wanted, for which Rovina berated me for being too specific and not letting her do her job. The resulting haircut was not really what I wanted (Rovina worked previously at Tony and Guy, which teaches hairdressers to cut in a certain way), but I most objected to the unprofessional and aggressive way I was treated. I told my husband the experience was and quot;emotionally traumatic.and quot; I will not be back.

Parking can be a challenge, but some is available behind the building. The signs there make it seem like the parking is all reserved for the other businesses in the complex, but I haven't had a problem.
The service is good, even though the english of a few of the employee's is a little challenging, but nothing out of the ordinary for the area.
I've gone there 3 times now for an appointment with Royston and he has done an excellent job each time.

Royston did an amazing job. I have been going there since they opened up and it has been great.

Overall it was a wonderful experience. Royston is a great guy, talented stylist and he really listened to me while also suggesting different cuts and styles. If you aren't sure what to do with your hair, check with him.

I like my salon. They are a little expensive but everything in North Arlington is expensive for hair. They are very friendly. They take their time. They are really good.

I needed a new hair stylist because the last one I saw cut my hair way too short. After I grew it out a bit, Royston gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I have since moved out of state and my new hairstylist even remarked at how good my haircut was and that it gave her a good plan to follow.

My daughter saw Rovina for a haircut and highlights. The color was wonderful! Rovina matched my daughter's natural color exactly and added two additional shades of highlights.

The salon is large but Rovina and her brother are the only two stylists so you feel like you are the only client there. They both work slowly so it is a very relaxing experience.

I recently moved to the area and needed my hair colored and highlighted. This salon is very close to my house, has very reasonable prices and are experts on cutting wavy hair. They did a fantastic job on my hair and I walked away very pleased with my color and highlights. They did everything I asked and were very friendly. In fact, my daughter had her haircut done the next day and I was very pleased with her haircut and the price! I would highly recommend this hair salon to anyone. The owner and her brother operate the salon and have a lot of experience with cutting hair.

I found this salon just because it is close to my house. It's a jewel, and while I hesitate to spill the beans on such a hidden treasure, I'd want to know about it if I were you. They are sensational in working with young people. Haircuts for the boys were less expensive--under $30.
