We would highly recommend Meg for your real estate needs! We worked closely with her for over a year to find a house in Arlington. Her expert knowledge of the real estate market helped us eventually find the right home in a great neighborhood, while contending with stiff competition. Meg was always available and very responsive to our questions and concerns and was very patient throughout the process (including when we opted out of a purchase after the home inspection). Her extensive network of contacts and advice helped us to purchase, prepare our condo for sale, and sell our house successfully within two months. She advised us to do some painting and minor repairs and hire a stager which enabled us to get an offer--and eventually close--the first weekend of our open house. Meg became a trusted advisor and friend and we would definitely recommend her for all your home buying and selling needs.

Meg sold a large, expensive home in the dead of winter and spent at least a year after helping me find a new home to purchase. She never pretended to like a home and readily highlighted all pluses and minuses. I definitely recommend Meg.

She was very honest with us about the pros/cons of our options; did not push us in any one direction, and gave us well-balanced advice. I found Meg through Angie's List and met with her several times over the last 2 years. During the first year, we mostly discussed the possibility of selling, but we decided earlier this year to go ahead and list our 2BR/1BA condo. Meg did a great job advising us on a number of things, from upgrades that might need to be done, and ones that could be skipped; cleaning; to stage or not to stage, and so on. She was amazingly helpful and attentive and got our condo sold within a month of listing it. We were so impressed with her communication and her in general, that we plan to buy through her as well! Meg is a wonderful realtor and if you have any questions, stop asking and start emailing because she is amazing!

I was on the fence as to the timing of selling my condo. I interviewed several realtors (all from Angie's List) and Meg was by far the most professional and engaging. She wasn't pushy, told me to wait until it felt right but she still provided me with the information I needed to make the decision. Meg feels strongly about staging homes and after some hesitation, I agreed. I do think it made all the difference. Meg provided a complimentary stager who came in and told me how to stage my home. It is difficult to think of something additional to say about Meg Ross that hasn?t been said in the previous reviews. Everything previously stated is absolutely true as I experienced the same things. So I won?t repeat them but try to find something else to say. Without meaning to exaggerate, even exaggerated praise falls short of trying to describe her. So what is it about Meg that puts her so far above all the rest in her field? To be honest, I have no idea. All I know is what I experienced. I had had numerous real estate transactions in the past and even had my own VA real estate license at one time, so this was neither my first transaction nor experience with other agents. I don?t know how or why, but I sensed something about Meg?s inner qualities at our first meeting, which was the first clue that she was different in a wonderful, indescribable way. I had interviewed other agents prior to Meg but had made up my mind to engage Meg?s services even before she finished her presentation. Not because she gave me a slick sales pitch (ugh!), but because she stood out from my previous experiences with other agents. As I said, she didn?t even have to get to the closing part of her presentation. I couldn?t put my finger on it, but I just knew she was the one. And as we went through the process of selling my condo, the clues I had initially sensed about her manifested themselves not only in the way she managed the technical side of the process as well the people side, meaning me, the other agent, the lender, and the contractors, but also in the way she proactively found creative and effective ways to deal with financing and other issues, not to mention keeping on top of every single detail along the way. But that?s just the normal stuff that most good agents do. We?re talking about Meg Ross here, so that?s just the tip of the iceberg. Meg possesses way more than just process and management skills. She?s the Einstein in the crowd. She has developed her own transformational business model that surpasses current standards and expectations. She executes this model with the same effectiveness for each transaction because it works. She has had years of successful real estate transactions, even in down markets. It?s absolutely astonishing. If you let her do what she does best and follow her guidance like I did, you will be amazed. My place sold at its first Open House, just as the model predicted. Not only that, Meg represented just me. She even had the opportunity to be a dual agent, but turned it down. It?s hard not to exaggerate when it comes to describing Meg?s abilities and qualities. Meg is great!! We needed to sell our outdated townhome in a short timeframe and Meg helped us work through the process and get our house sold quickly, well above asking price and with multiple offers to consider. She has great connections with local contractors who helped us to remodel, and she covered the cost of staging and professional photography, both of which were amazing. Meg was absolutely terrific! We had a difficult time selling our condominium last year with another agent(10 months), and, after much frustration, decided to select someone from Angie's List. Meg Ross had to compete with 2 other agents we were interviewing, but she stood out with her method, her attention to detail, and her amazing personality. She sold our condo in less than a week! My husband accepted a job offer in Austin, TX, and we sold our home in Chantilly prior to the move. I saw the glowing reviews for Meg on Angie's List and called her when we were not quite ready to list, just to see what we would need to do. Meg was incredibly patient and knowledgeable as we waited for the official job offer to come through before we could list the house. In the meantime, she had great advice about how to get our home ready to sell. Meg works in tandem with a home stager, who came and gave us a consultation (paid for by Meg) about how to make our home appealing to the greatest number of buyers. Although I liked Meg very much and knew she would do a great job for us, I must admit I was skeptical about the home staging - but this stuff WORKS. Our home sold for 10K over the asking price after only FOUR DAYS on the market. Meg was incredibly responsive every step of the way - she worked very hard to make our home stand out as much as possible, not only the house itself but the listing. The photos were beautiful, and each home she sells gets its own website. The whole process could not have gone more smoothly. I have already recommended Meg's services to several friends, and I would absolutely encourage anyone looking to buy or sell a home to work with her. In short, believe the Angie's List hype! Meg Ross is a rock star!

My wife and I weren?t necessarily looking to buy a new home, but one day we were driving around looking at new construction and fell in love with a place. We were not entirely prepared to buy a new home and now had to sell our two townhomes. This is where Meg came to the rescue. It was early November and we wanted to get on the market quick so we wouldn?t be stuck with three mortgages once our new home was built. We interviewed a couple of realtors but Meg stood out from the group. She was very well prepared on our first visit, presenting us with info on recent area home sales, a rough marketing plan, and a binder willed with all kinds of information about selling a home. Meg was a true professional and had an open and honest dialog with us about sales price and the time of year we were selling in. My wife and I were a little concerned about selling in winter, but Meg had a positive outlook that gave us tons of confidence. Meg provided us with plenty of additional services at no additional cost to us, including: staging, a fantastic website, professional home layout, professional photographs, neighborhood notifications, and property brochures. We put the house we were living in on the market first since we still had renters in my wife?s old townhome. We were a little worried about the home being on the market for a long time, and having to live in a ?staged? home. Our concerns didn?t last long ? our house sold for well above asking with multiple offers in just 6 days. Closing went smoothly except for one problem that the other realtor created, which was going to cost us some money in repairs. Meg asked the other realtor, since she was at fault, to split the cost with her and the other realtor refused, so Meg paid for the repairs herself. Meg went above and beyond in every way. We know she had many other clients, but we felt like her only one. She was always very responsive via email, text, and phone. Getting our second home on the market proved more difficult due to cat urine smells left from our tenants who had them in the home without permission. Meg provided us with ideas as she reached out to other realtors to try and find remedies for our problem. Eventually we ridded the house of the smell and just like the first home, this one sold in 6 days with multiple offers and above asking. Meg also has contacts with very reliable contractors and helped us fix a few items and install new carpet in our homes to prepare them for sale. My wife and I cannot say enough about our experience with Meg. We were always certain we were getting a very high level of service throughout the process. We have recommended Meg to numerous friends and would use her again in a heartbeat!

Bottom line: We received a full-price offer (with no seller concessions) from the first set of people who looked at our home the first day it was on the market. We had a signed contract the next day and closed less than 45 days later. Throughout the entire process, Meg was always on time for appointments, quickly responded to inquiries from us (usually within a few minutes), and kept us informed about each and every little development relating to our sale. She also stayed in touch with the buyers and their agent to ensure we were all on the same sheet of music regarding inspections, repairs negotiation, closing date, etc. Meg is the ultimate professional. She uses every effective marketing tool to get a home sold and fast, without sacrificing price. She listens, remembers, responds and communicates at the highest level. She offers informed, valuable advice and discusses all available options to ensure her clients are fully onboard with the marketing plan. Added to that, Meg is very personable, with a great sense of humor and a very positive attitude. She was a joy to work with. We will recommend her to everyone we encounter who is interested in selling or buying a home in the area. We couldn't have asked for a better agent!

She has a dedicated stager who really knows what she's doing. *Meg has a network of improvement pros who are responsive and were able to meet my rigorous schedule for getting a lot of work done - at a very low price. *Meg's attitude was incredible - she is very personable, classy, and intelligent. She is surprisingly humble and drives around in a very reasonable green Honda CR-V - she's not one of those show off agents who wear a bunch of jewelry and tempt you with all their financial success. Meg is like having someone in your family who is great at what she does and you know when you meet her that she's the one you want to trust the biggest investment of your life to. *Honesty - Meg follows all the rules, and makes sure not to cut any corners! She's honest to the other realtors with their buyers. She's also honest about what she thinks she can do for you. She didn't exaggerate what she thought my house was worth. And the sales price is much higher than we initially thought. *What else can I say?? Meg is someone you'd want to be friends with or have a drink with. She's very cool without being overly "hip" also not in the other extreme, she's not stuffy. *Its truly unfortunate that all realtors get paid the same for their services, because Meg has far beyond earned what she will make from the sale of my home. *Compared to other realtors: I wish everyone knew what a difference it would be working with Meg, because you wouldn't consider anyone else! I interviewed 4 other realtors and they all had some shell game going, or no ideas about my house to maximize its sales price. They also didn't offer staging services. One realtor wanted to empty out my house and paint it white! Meg had other much better ideas! We turned my house into a branded product! We styled it with warm colors, rental furniture that Meg paid for! I left a few large pieces, otherwise, Meg completely remade my home to be someone's dreamhome. Other realtors also failed to do what is most important in realty - the ability to SELL THEMSELVES! if you can't sell yourself to me, why should I trust you to sell my home!?! Meg is very well dressed, well groomed (some realtors actually showed up with bad breath!) and very smart. Being a GOOD realtor is a full time job, and that's what Meg does full time! A good realtor is into what they do - and Meg was very invested with her passion that my house was perfect, that it sold, and that I was confident and comfortable during the whole process. Well, it worked very well, and next week, I will be closing on my house, banking quite a profit, thanks to Meg!

Meg is superb, an amazing real estate agent! Before we found Meg, my husband and I were really down on real estate agents and were not looking forward to spending 3% of our home sale on an agent. However, once we found and started working with Meg, our attitudes totally changed. Meg is very professional and super friendly. Something that you really want when you are working with that person in your home several times a week. We have kids and she made them feel comfortable and was very respectful of their needs and our family needs too. She changed her schedule to meet with us so that she would wake them during naps and met with other people who were coming to work in our home so that we didn't have to change the kids activities too much. Meg was never once late. I really appreciate this. After getting the first interview done (we played slow phone tag for that), she was very available. She definitely had other clients, but she didn't over book herself and served us as if we were her only clients. She met with us on our schedule and came over whenever we felt it was necessary or needed assistance. Meg was super organized. I mean super organized. She has a time line that works. She sticks to it and knows the people that can get things done in that time line. Better yet, she knows what needs to get done to sell your house fast and for the highest price possible. Meg hired or helped us hire an excellent stager who also told us what color paint to put on the walls, what needed paint, how to make the outside look its best, and what furniture need to go, come, and stay. The stager did an amazing job and our house looked like it should have been in a magazine afterward. Meg also helped us find the person to paint (we did a lot of research too, but felt most comfortable with her guy who was a couple hundred more than the cheapest we found but cheaper than all but the cheapest). He got everything done on time thanks to pressure from Meg and him being a good guy too. Meg also hired an outstanding photographer to take professional pictures. He was great. The pictures really made our house stand out. In addition Meg only puts out professional fliers and handouts. No black and white on an 8x12 paper with blurry pictures. She only does high end and with the very best pictures. She makes sure she knows what sells in your area (schools, metro, outdoors) and what sells your house. I interviewed 4 other realtors before Meg and none of them had handouts like hers. Not one. All the others had some error or blurry picture or was on cheap paper. Meg did an awesome job with the open house advertising and we had so many people there that our neighbors thought we must have been offering giveaways. Most importantly, we had a realtors' open on Tuesday, house on market Wednesday, open house Sunday, house sold on Monday. It not only sold, but it sold for more than the asking price. And I thought that we would never get the asking price. She just did an amazing job. I would very highly recommend her. In fact, I have recommended her to all of our friends. If you are selling or are going to sell, you need to keep her name in your phone. She is that good.

It was my daughter's first home-buying experience and Meg was very patient and understanding with her and also very personable and fun! Meg is FANTASTIC. I didn't know it was possible to be 200% satisfied with a Realtor. She works VERY hard for her clients and is such a pleasure to work with. We trusted her completely.
