The management was extremely kind and accommodating. Yet, upon return of the rugs one still had an odor, and two are now shedding a powder-like substance.

Carpets were picked up at the agreed to date/time. Work done promptly and well. When cleaned carpets were returned the delivery folks volunteered to unroll the two largest for me which was great since I could not do it alone. All in all a good experience from beginning to end.

He is great. He is cool and he repairs. He knows his stuff. They are pretty fast. I refer people to him.

Great job, very courteous and extremely efficient. Carpets were well taken care of and we were very pleased with the service.

Their prices are reasonable but I was very displeased with their services. They did an inadequate job and one of the rugs was ruined. They washed the rugs too roughly and did a poor color restoration on another rug.

My initial phone contact was positive and professional. All questions were answered well. I took four room size rugs to their place of business. I live 60 miles away. The rugs were washed and dried and also I elected to have the extra pet cleaning solution used. I returned in 12 days to pick up the rugs. I have put the rugs back in use and am pleased with the work that was performed.

The experience was absolutely wonderful. The company arrived right on time to pick up the rugs; consulted on site about special stains and damage we wanted to receive special attention; and left the house clean and neat. The company returned on the exact date promised. The quality of the workmanship--both cleaning and sewing--was stellar. The replacement of the rugs was done with dispatch and efficiency.

I brought the rugs to the store and was promptly given a price to have them cleaned. The associate was very professional and even knew details about how and where the rug was made. They told me they would call when the rugs were ready. About a week and a half went by so I called to check, and the rugs were ready. Pickup and payment were a breeze. The rugs look great - I would take rugs to these guys in the future.

Based on other reports on Angie's List, I selected Manoukian Brothers to clean my 8 x 10 Chinese wool rug. It was an excellent experience. Within one day of my initial call, Mr. Manoukian arranged to come get the rug. When he came, he explained in detail how they would treat the rug and he estimated the cost and timing, both of which were very reasonable. They kept to the cost and timing. Mr. Manoukian called again to arrange to return the rug and came at the time we had arranged. They did an excellent job of cleaning. The entire experience was handled very professionally.

Manoukian Brothers was great! The salespeople spent time with us in the store helping us pick out which oriental rug to get. Once we had narrowed it down to 3, we arranged with them to have all 3 delivered so that we could see how they looked in our living room. The delivery man hauled all of them up to our condo (and they are heavy!) and spread them out so that we could see them with the color scheme and lighting in our home. We made our selection and have been very pleased with the quality of our rug. We also had them take a smaller old rug of ours back to the store and clean it. It looks brand new now! All of the people we dealt with were courteous, prompt, and professional. I have heard horror stories about other oriental rug stores marking up prices and then advertising 50% off sales. Compared to others I have seen, Manoukian Brothers has very reasonable prices and is very reputable. I also appreciate that I am buying from a family-owned business that has been in business in DC for 90 years.

It went extremely well.....I called and arranged for pick up. The driver helped me get one rug rolled up as it was under my dining table...the other two were ready to go. They called after the cleaning was done and talked to me about repair, which I authorized. I also needed new pads so they brought those as well..........far better ones than I was using before. When the driver returned the rugs, he offered to help me put them down again but I decided to wait until I do some rearranging. I will definitely use their services again and may purchase rugs from them in the future.

Overall a very relaxed and pleasant shopping experience--I will use them again.

We had been using Manoukian Brothers before we were Angie's List members and lost track of them. Angie's List helped us find them again. They have always been on time for pickup and delivery, the price is good and the work is excellent. Our Morroccan carpet looks brand new after this last cleaning.

They never called or emailed me! So it went badly!
