For the past 24 years, Beaulieu Floors has been serving both residential and commercial customers in the Washington Metropolitan area. By providing the best professional flooring service possible, we offer a large variety of styles and selections of all types of flooring. We carry the same product lines from major manufacturers and specialty mills that you would find in more expensive department stores and independent retailers. However, because we keep our overhead low, we are able to pass significant savings on to you. We take pride in being on the cutting edge of the latest techniques and we are always on the lookout for new products. Our customers are the reason we are in business.

This was a very difficult pattern to lay on my kitchen floor. The crew worked very hard to figure out the pattern and after they did, the job went quickly. They also removed 3 previous layers of old flooring and put down a cement pad. They were very professional, price was excellent, and they worked late until the job was done.

Mr. Beaulieu gave a unique first impression - professional, highly competent in his field, and extremely kind. We were so glad we went with him. His team did an excellent job with the refinishing and installation of shoe molding, and our floors our just beautiful. Our floors had a couple tricky spots due to the age of our building, and they managed it beautifully so it all blends in extremely well. Mr. Beaulieu came by a few days later to inspect the work and to assure that we were satisfied. (He is just a dear, kind man to work with- that’s the kind of team we want in our home.) And, his price was also well below competitors!

We had the work done in three stages and we used water based finish, so we wouldn't have to move out of the house. Each stage was quoted and billed separately. Louis Beaulieu fulfilled all our requirements with the best price of any contractor. The work was done on time, quickly, and professionally. No mess was left behind. The work included removing a vinyl tile overlay on some of the hardwood flooring. Today it is as if there had never been such an overlay. We couldn't be happier with the work. We would recommend Beaulieu floors without hesitation and would happily use them again.

Arranged to have a group pack up and removed furniture from rooms that were being worked on. Installers were efficient and pleasant. Project was kept on scheduled and finished on time.

Owner “Louie”met with us in August, discussed work with us and committed to complete all the work within one week. As soon as our home was empty the first of September, he started work and finished within one week. The results were fabulous!

Louis and his team did an amazing job on our floors. Louis (the owner) came out himself to assess our project and put together the proposal/bid. I appreciated that we were dealing with the owner directly. Louis put together a bid that was competitive and thorough, which is why we selected Beaulieu Floors. Louis was very accommodating with our schedule. We had a very tight time frame and he rearranged other pending work to fit us in. His team came out on Friday and Saturday and finished the whole job. We were incredibly impressed with the "dustless" aspect of their work. The entire upstairs was sanded and refinished and virtually no dust was ever present in the downstairs of our house. Much cleaner than our friends told us to expect. The finished product is great. Louis' team was very careful staining everything and made sure all the details were perfect. The floors have virtually no imperfections (that didn't exist already) and look stunning. Finally, it really impressed my wife and I when Louis personally came to do the final inspection of our floors. He took about 15 minutes and went over every inch of the floor, touching up anything, making sure the finishing nails in the shoe molding were smooth, and inspecting all aspects of the work. Louis and his team did a great job and we would recommend to anyone. One day, we will refinish our downstairs hardwood floors too and will ask Beaulieu Floors to come do that project too.

Louis met us at our new home to discuss the job (carpet install and hardwood refinishing). He was punctual, friendly, and offered some helpful suggestions. He runs his business out of his home, so the carpet selection process is unlike walking into a big showroom, but that worked well for me since he only offers products that he stands behind. Moreover, he gives everyone personal service.
The carpet installers were on time and did a great job. The folks who refinished our hardwoods were also punctual and very professional. They showed us a number of examples of how stains would look to make sure we were happy with our selection before going forward. I was also impressed with how clean it was afterwards since I had heard that the dust could be overwhelming despite companies' claims to the contrary.
Lastly, we put a fairly large scratch in the floor when moving our furniture in. I emailed Louis to get the name of the stain so I could blend it in and instead he came out himself to "doctor it up." A+ service overall!

The upstairs floor of the townhome I?d purchased had old, lumpy carpet that needed stretching at a minimum, and I wanted to know what shape the floors were in for a possible refinish. I?d sought quotes from 2 general contractors with floor-refinishing experience; they backed
away slowly after a peek under the carpet. Louis, on the other hand, peeled the
carpet back eagerly for examination and pointed out the potential problem
areas--a large stain on a substantial portion of the main bedroom. He made no
promises and quoted on the carpet as well as the refinish, with a worst-case
scenario on board replacement to repair the hardwood floor. His quote was
<$100 more than the contractor who quoted (the other chose not to), and I figured
his expertise as a specialist was worth it. He scheduled the work promptly and
notified me who my crew would be. They were completely tidy and finished on
time. Sanding dust was kept to a minimum, and the workers laid a makeshift
runner for their workboots in non-work areas. When it came time to tackle the trouble spot, crewman Miguel planed off a piece as a test, and the stain shaved off beautifully. We were off and running.
